General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, October 8 tease time-sensitive questions, targeted legal maneuvers, and throwing a lifeline.
Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) has a time-sensitive question, Monet Mitchell (Blythe Howard) a targeted legal maneuver, and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) throws a lifeline!
Time-Sensitive Questions
At General Hospital, Jordan seeks out Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) in his hospital room with pressing concerns. She poses a thought-provoking question: if their circumstances were flipped, would he abandon her?
Clearly, she’s gauging his perspective on whether she should travel to the exclusive clinic in Baden-Baden for scar revision surgery-and timing is critical; Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) told her she must leave immediately to make her scheduled appointment, which he arranged with Dr. Muller (uncredited).
According to General Hospital spoilers, Curtis is taken aback, though his reaction may stem from the situation’s abruptness and her imminent departure.
The real question looms: will he demonstrate the selflessness needed to support his partner’s opportunity for renewed confidence and appearance, or will his desire for her to remain override her personal needs?
Targeted Legal Maneuvers
Meanwhile, Jordan’s sibling Monet-someone Curtis remains unaware is connected to Jordan-finds herself in a separate conversation with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
During their discussion about Chase’s impending marital dissolution, she offers what appears to be a strategically timed recommendation.
The two have clearly been going over every detail surrounding Chase’s potential separation from Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and the guardianship arrangement for their daughter Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton).
Chase appears visibly taken aback when Monet proposes, “Why not bypass this waiting period and proceed directly to filing for divorce?”
Typically, no-fault divorces require a mandatory one-year waiting period before filing can commence, though expedited filings are possible if one party can demonstrate serious misconduct by their spouse.
Throwing A Lifeline
Meanwhile, Britt finds herself at the Quartermaine gatehouse with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), where Willow resides alongside her children, Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Sienna Goerisch).
Britt shares an intriguing revelation with an attentive Willow: Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has one compelling reason to keep silent! But what could that reason possibly be?
Does Britt have insider knowledge about Drew that others don’t; what confidential information might Britt have uncovered during her tenure working under Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes)?
Could she be privy to the leverage that the deceased Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) once held over Drew?
Just Perfect!
Meanwhile, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) confronts Drew in her office, triumphantly exclaiming “This is poetic justice!” Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) article is already creating significant buzz; but has Lulu deceived Drew?
The scandal unfolding appears to center on just ONE article-what information did she extract from him that’s clearly bothering Drew enough to complain to Carly about it?
Alternatively, did she craft that single article primarily targeting Drew while positioning Willow as the villain, especially given that she obtained his medical records? And let’s not forget; she also managed to interview Sidwell!
Battling Parents
Meanwhile, at Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) residence, Ava Jerome (Maura West) confronts him in a heated exchange, her voice sharp as she declares, “That’s precisely why I refuse to let Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) set foot in this place!”
Ava appears to be referencing the widespread belief circulating throughout Port Charles that Sonny orchestrated the assault resulting in Curtis’s imprisonment;though curiously, few seem concerned about Sidwell’s involvement.
General Hospital spoilers also suggest she’s expected to propose a new target to Drew, but who could it be- Sonny has already been in the crosshairs, and it was actually Drew who falsely accused him of orchestrating the prison attacks!
So who becomes the next target, Carly, or perhaps even Lulu?
