‘General Hospital’ Preview January 17: Portia & Willow Plan Michael’s Care, Carly Has a Different Approach

Michael Corinthos’ Future

GH spoilers for Friday, January 17 reveal that Portia will summon Willow into her office at the hospital. Portia says they need to figure out the next steps in Michael’s care.

Even though Michael is hospitalized, he needs long-term burn treatment. So, Portia probably wants Willow to make some decisions about what facility to transfer Michael to. 

Meanwhile, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is in Michael’s hospital room. Carly says that she might have another option. 

GH Spoilers: Willow Tait Corithos’ Dilemma

On Friday, January 17, Willow has to make more decisions. Despite Willow making a deal with Carly and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Tracy will not give up the children!

Willow does have a medical proxy for Michael, which she has been using as leverage. However, Willow and Michael’s parents might have to unite to go up against Tracy.

Tracy Quartermaine vs Harrison Chase

General Hospital spoilers for Friday, January 17 reveal that Willow recently confided in Chase. Now, Chase did not take sides, but was just a listening ear and a supportive friend for Willow.

After that discussion, Chase tells Tracy that she’s making things worse. However, Tracy gets fierce and orders Chase to butt out!

General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, January 17, 2025

In today’s episode, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) angrily confronts Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison). Cody looks like he is ready for a brawl.

However, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) gets between the two men and prevents a fight. Jordan straight up tells Cody not to even think about it. However, Drew isn’t off the hook either.

Also, Lulu interviews for a job at Deception. This news blindsides Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton)! It does sound like Lulu gets the job. As Lulu stands up, she swears with a smile to be on her best behavior. 

Meanwhile, Ava is getting fed up with Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst). Either Ric starts actually getting her somewhere or she’ll replace him with a new lawyer.
