‘General Hospital’ Preview July 16: Sonny’s Dirty Plot & Anna Questions Britt

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) have a tense connection. Plus, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) schemes with Brick (Stephen A. Smith).

On The Next General Hospital

Let’s start from the beginning of the preview clip. First up, we have Stella, who is at the hospital.

While Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) likely wants to check in on Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), Stella tells him not to.

The woman declares that Isaiah is going to want to give Portia and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) some time alone with their new baby. Of course, the look on Isaiah’s face says it all! 

Portia Robinson’s Baby

Over with Portia, she went into sudden labor but the ambulance didn’t get there in time. That left Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) scrambling to help her enemy.

The baby was successfully delivered and seems to be okay. Now in the hospital, Portia asks Curtis if he would like to meet his son. 

Anna Devane & Britt Westbourne Connect

General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, July 16 reveal that Anna and Britt face each other. White Anna seems pretty fierce, Britt tries to smooth things over. The brunette says they have more in common than Anna thinks.

 

Josslyn Jacks’ Warning

As for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), she tries to warn Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). However, the doctor is likely going to take matters into her own hands anyway.

Liesl is furious over Josslyn’s statement painting Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) as a hero while Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) is viewed as a monster. 

However, Josslyn might try to warn Liesl that there is a reason she did what she did. Josslyn will also try to get Liesl to not have any feisty confrontations. It seems the doctor is going to do what she wants no matter the risk.

Sonny Corinthos’ Scheme

There is also Sonny, who is determined to make sure Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) don’t stay together.

In a preview clip for tomorrow, Sonny tells Brick, “We just have to figure out a way to get Valentin out of Carly’s life.” However, we know that in soaps, schemes like this always seem to backfire.
