General Hospital (GH) preview for Wednesday, October 28, teases that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) delivers a shocking reveal, while Ava Jerome (Maura West) gets a lawyer! Plus, at her office in the Metro Court, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is suspicious!
Key Takeaways
- Britt questions Willow’s true reasons for moving
- Chase confronts Dante over Lulu’s controversial article
- Brook Lynn urges Tracy to take action
- Ava demands a favor from Alexis
- Nina bargains with Baines as Carly grows suspicious
Britt’s Shocking Reveal
It appears that Britt has made her way back to the Quartermaine gatehouse, eager to deliver a shocking reveal to her cousin Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
Britt radiates enthusiasm, though Willow appears visibly troubled as Britt reveals her suspicions that Willow’s relocation was motivated by Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
Both Chase and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) have recently arrived back home following their hasty divorce proceedings in the Dominican Republic.
Britt’s insinuation suggests that Willow’s relocation to the Quartermaine gatehouse, alongside her and Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) children, stems not from parental considerations but rather from her romantic interest in Chase!
Will Britt proceed to divulge her own thrilling developments from the Brown Dog Bar to Willow, or has confiding in Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) already satisfied her need to share this momentous secret?
Chase Confronts Dante
Meanwhile, Chase and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) find themselves locked in a heated dispute.
Chase confronts Dante with a pointed question: Would he really hold Willow accountable based solely on Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) testimony?
Dante’s frustration is evident as the conversation centers on Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) explosive viral article.
The situation has escalated into a legal battle, with Willow pursuing a libel claim against Lulu, who adamantly refuses to withdraw her piece. Dante stands ready to support his former wife.
Chase has been instrumental in pushing Willow toward litigation and has even encouraged Monet Mitchell (Blythe Howard) to take on the case.
As Chase’s determination to help Willow sue Lulu has already shown, he’s willing to take some serious risks to defend her.
Chase’s unwavering faith in Willow’s account is absolute. He’s convinced she’s incapable of wrongdoing, but reality may soon deliver a harsh wake-up call!
Brook Lynn Tells Tracy The Latest
Meanwhile, Brook Lynn finds herself at the Quartermaine estate, where she brings Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) up to speed on recent developments.
She urges her grandmother to finally take the action she should have pursued from the beginning, seemingly in reaction to Tracy’s shocking revelation!
The Quartermaine family is about to face a significant upheaval, prompting Tracy to gear up for a confrontation, and this appears to be an exceptionally grave matter.
Despite their well-documented interpersonal conflicts, the Quartermaines demonstrate remarkable unity when confronted with a shared adversary or a pressing crisis requiring collective attention.
And based on all indications, this situation is shaping up to be particularly formidable!
Ava Gets A Lawyer
Meanwhile, Ava reaches out to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) by phone, calling in a debt that Alexis apparently owes her.
This occurs following an interrogation with Acting WSB Station Chief William Baines (Alimi Ballard) at General Hospital.
She initially appeared to be seeking out Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) at the Port Charles Grill to give him a heads-up, but noticing he was occupied with Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski), she opts for a phone call instead.
It’s evident that Ava has become entangled in her scheme with Drew to manage Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Ava confronts Alexis with the words, “How about we just skip to the part where you do what I want?”
Could it be that she’s attempting to enlist Alexis’s assistance in reversing the situation with Drew?
Serena Updates Jason
Things might not be entirely falling apart at the Quartermaine estate, as Serena Baldwin (Kelly Kruger) shares exciting news with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), hinting that he’s about to experience some genuine happiness!
Not long ago, he’d discovered her attempting to manipulate him on behalf of her mother, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), to secure Michael Corinthos’ voting proxy for Deception Cosmetics.
It’s possible that either she or Lucy has devised a more promising strategy.
Jason responds with his characteristic serious expression, though he’s clearly paying close attention to every word.
Could it be that they’ve finally conceded defeat and decided to surrender?
Nina Tries To Make A Deal
Meanwhile, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) appears to be engaging in a high-stakes negotiation with Baines within the interrogation and holding area connected to the WSB Field Office.
There’s no way Baines could have made it to Steinmauer just five minutes after departing General Hospital, where he’d been pestering Ava!
Looking visibly worn and exhausted, Nina presses Baines urgently: “Tell me what I have to do to prove it to you!”
Her plea comes in response to Baines’ admission that they may have acted too hastily in concluding she was responsible for Jack Brennan’s (Chris L. McKenna) disappearance!
With the WSB investigation and Ava’s growing legal troubles threatening to expose even more secrets, Nina may be running out of options.
Carly Is Suspicious
Meanwhile, Carly finds herself in her Metro Court office with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), where she voices her concerns.
Valentin’s tone suggests urgency. They need to act immediately!
Carly appears troubled. After all, they’d committed to supporting Lulu over her defamation lawsuit.
As Carly and Valentin’s recent decision to investigate Lulu’s claims revealed, the two are determined to uncover the truth about the WSB’s mysterious paralytic drug.
Valentin had been reluctant to reveal that he knew the WSB possessed a paralytic agent capable of mimicking a stroke and inducing what appeared to be locked-in syndrome.
He’d nearly fallen victim to it himself, recognizing that the substance in the syringe Nina had attempted to inject him with at Drew’s residence was precisely that, though Jack became the unfortunate target instead.
Whatever has sparked Carly’s suspicions clearly bothers her. Yet what Valentin discloses seems to distress her even more!
Annemarie’s Take
I have to say, Britt certainly knows how to stir the pot! If Willow really moved into the gatehouse because of Chase, I wouldn’t be surprised one bit. And Chase continuing to defend Willow no matter what? I think he’s setting himself up for a very rude awakening!
I’m also curious about Nina’s desperate deal with Baines. Is she finally going to get herself out of this mess, or will she end up making things even worse?
As for Carly and Valentin, I hope they figure out what’s really going on before someone else gets hurt. And I can’t wait to find out what Tracy is planning because when that woman decides to take action, Port Charles had better watch out!
Be sure to catch up on everything happening with GH right now. Do you think Britt is right about Willow and Chase? Will Nina manage to convince Baines to release her? Let us know in the comments!
