Nina warned her friend that joining forces with Drew might have serious repercussions-Ava then met Drew, who shared his plan to use a thumb drive to hack the hotel security through Carly’s office computer.
While Ava distracted Jack, Drew could slip into Brennan’s room unnoticed and retrieve the evidence the WSB chief had against him, then Drew offered Ava a sleeping pill to put in Jack’s drink.
Uncomfortable with the idea of drugging a WSB agent, Ava accused Drew of trying to set her up and voiced her concerns about their partnership after Nina’s warning about him.
Drew reminded her that Sonny had a powerful ally in Laura Collins (Genie Francis), convincing Ava that they were each other’s best shot at taking him down.
Reluctantly, Ava accepted the pill, intending to use it only as a last resort, later changing her mind and crushing it, mixing it in his drink as he answered a phone call.

Valentin And Carly Made A Pact
In Carly’s hotel office, Jack informed her and Valentin that he was uncertain about the intentions of his WSB superiors in appointing Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) as the new CEO of Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) Enterprises.
He advised them not to get involved; the trio confronted each other regarding Carly’s relationship with Valentin, and before departing, Jack made a pointed remark that Carly would always be second to Valentin’s fixation on Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
Once they were alone, Carly reassured Valentin that she comprehended his bond with Anna, as she had a similar connection with Jason.
Valentin promised that his feelings for Anna did not diminish his feelings for her. The couple decided to trust one another and move ahead together.
Anna Caught Up With Jordan
Back at the Metro Court restaurant, Anna checked in on Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) to see how she was holding up since Curtis went to prison.
Anna questioned why Curtis had refused the plea deal, and Jordan shared her belief that Curtis was so eager to shift the blame onto Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) for the accident that he wouldn’t have to blame her.
She expressed regret for not persuading him to abandon his vendetta. Meanwhile, at another table, Sonny informed Laura that he had gone legitimate.
Sonny Spotted Drew Across The Room, and Was Worried What He’d Do
Spotting Drew across the room, Sonny speculated that Drew was likely to ensure he wouldn’t regain his shares in the auction of Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) assets.
Sonny also worried that Drew might use their grandson, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), to undermine him. Laura urged Sonny to maintain peace with Drew while she was away visiting Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and Ace Cassadine (Kieran and Karis Barry).
Laura and Sonny then approached Drew as he was leaving the restaurant to go to Carly’s office. As the men exchanged tense looks, Laura asserted that it was time for them to put an end to their animosity.
Curtis Was Shocked To Meet His Cellmate
Before being integrated into the general population at Pentonville, Curtis received guidance from the warden on how to manage his prison experience to secure parole in two years.
Given Curtis’s previous career in law enforcement and the DEA, there was a risk that other inmates might provoke him into fights or even attempt to harm him.
Therefore, the warden opted to place him in a more secure section alongside another high-profile inmate.
Eventually, Curtis was moved to his new housing unit and encountered his cellmate. “You?” he exclaimed in disbelief at the unseen fellow prisoner.
Nina Accused Serena Of Being A Hooker
At the pool, Serena Baldwin (Kelly Kruger) presented her idea to Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) about revitalizing Deception with a new line of sustainable, clean beauty products.
While Michael found the idea intriguing, he was reluctant to take such a significant risk with the company.
When Serena teased him for being overly cautious, Michael accepted her lighthearted challenge to relax and removed his shirt.
Just then, an irritated Nina approached them, accusing Michael of being involved with yet another escort. Instead of taking offense, Serena happily praised Nina for the outstanding articles in Crimson focusing on female empowerment.
Serena Put Nina In Her Place And Michael Hired Her
She introduced herself as the daughter of Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), and Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) and the VP of Product Development at Deception.
With a sarcastic remark wishing Serena good luck in a role she was unqualified for, Nina stormed off.
Serena jokingly asked Michael for his opinion on the job title she had just invented, to which he recommended she start as a creative director first. Serena accepted the role, and they shook hands as Michael officially welcomed her to the team.
Willow Again Manipulated Chase
At the boathouse, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), clad only in swim trunks, encountered a visibly upset Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen), who had been having a rough few days.
Chase encouraged her to share her troubles, and Willow recounted her woes, explaining that the allegations against her persisted despite her acquittal, and that Michael was still being a challenge.
When Chase inquired if Michael had pressured her to return to the property, Willow sighed, admitting that Michael typically got his way.
She recognized that being there was best for the children, but it also brought back memories of things she wished she could change-Chase reminded Willow of all the terrible experiences she had overcome and how much progress she had made.
As they moved closer together, Willow expressed her gratitude to Chase for always knowing the right words to lift her spirits.
