Today On General Hospital – Britt Clashed With Elizabeth

Britt was responding to Rocco’s message when Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) criticized her for using her cell phone during work hours. Their argument was cut short by Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), who had a copy of the recommendation letter he sent to the medical board for Britt. (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)

However, she viewed the letter as a negative review because Lucas praised her medical skills but ignored her personality.

Upset that Britt was unappreciative, Lucas stormed up the hospital stairs, and she muttered to herself that his letter wouldn’t matter if Agent Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) fulfilled their agreement.

When Liz returned to the hub, she made a sarcastic remark about Britt’s attitude, and a frustrated Britt announced that she was going on her break, and replied to Rocco’s text.

Liz and Lucas Talked About Britt Becoming A Doctor Again

Later, Liz and Lucas joked that Britt becoming a doctor again meant she would no longer be under the nurse’s supervision. Elizabeth wondered what made Lucas suggest this, and he explained that Britt’s instincts during Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) medical scare had convinced him.

Meanwhile, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) arrived to take Portia back home, but she changed her mind, thinking it would be less stressful to return to her room at the Metro Court.

Since he was on his way to Willow’s trial, Portia asked him to keep her informed about any updates. After Curtis left, Portia had another visitor: Brad, who was back in town after spending all the money Drew had given him.

Brad Wanted A New Start

Brad said he wanted to start anew with Portia, but she made it clear that he had no power over her anymore.

As Brad threatened to share his story with Dr. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) and the hospital board, Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) walked into Portia’s room and told Brad to leave.

Portia cautioned Isaiah to be cautious around Brad, warning that it could lead to trouble for both of them if Cooper figured out they were involved.

Though he was annoyed by her remark, Isaiah quickly brushed it off, claiming he was defending his boss by kicking Brad out, then Isaiah inquired when she would return to Curtis’s house. She said she had changed her mind, and he invited Portia once more to recover at his cabin.

Dante And Lulu Caught Up At Lulu’s House

At Lulu’s house, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) was happy to hear from his ex-wife that their son was in a better mood that morning-Lulu believed that with patience, Rocco would improve.

She was pleasantly surprised when Dante shared that Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) wanted a truce and that his older son would join them for tree-decorating.

Lulu thought this would also be good for Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke), especially with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) on the run.

Dante then left for the courthouse for Willow’s trial, while Lulu got ready to cover the proceedings. Before she left, Rocco’s tablet pinged with a notification he forgot to take to school, revealing a text exchange between him and Britt.

Lulu Tore Into Britt

Lulu found Britt at the hospital and confronted her for secretly texting Rocco, demanding she stay away from her son. Britt later discovered that Lulu had blocked her number when more messages to Rocco were undelivered.

Meanwhile, Lucas bumped into Brad by the elevator and was surprised to see his ex-husband back in town.

Trying to get details about Lucas’s life, Brad was let down to hear that he and Marco were living together, but they parted on good terms.

Later, Brad encountered Britt in the hallway, and after expressing his hurt over her faking her death, he agreed to forgive her if she resumed their Oscar-watching tradition, and the two hugged.

Willow And Drew Arrived At Miller And Davis For Pre-Trial Planning

At Miller & Davis, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) brought tea for her mom, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), who was anxious about Willow’s trial. Alexis feared Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) would cut off contact with Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) if Willow wasn’t cleared.

Kristina left when Willow arrived with Drew, wishing Willow good luck, and Alexis stressed the need for Willow to stay calm during the trial.

Drew reminded Willow that the goal was to be exonerated and reunite with Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko). Willow vowed to do anything to be with her kids again.

Michael Flashed Back to The Night Of The Shooting

At the Quartermaines, Michael recalled the night of Drew’s shooting, remembering it had rained and he was wet when he got back in his car.

Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) came in from the back after visiting Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) and promised to protect Michael in court. He was upset that Tracy might lie about seeing him outside Drew’s that night, but he insisted he didn’t shoot his uncle.

Unsure of his truthfulness, Tracy acknowledged Michael’s urge to lie to keep his kids and said she would do the same.

Tracy reflected on how inheriting the duty to keep the Quartermaine family together also meant inheriting the house, and she felt honored when Michael said she was a worthy successor.

Willow’s Trial Began

In the courthouse hallway, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) overheard Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) on the phone about a “problem” for her daughter, accusing her of helping Willow escape.

They argued about Willow’s innocence, but Nina smirked that the prosecution’s evidence wasn’t as strong as they believed.

As trial attendees arrived, Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) mentioned traffic footage proving Willow lied about her alibi twice. When Tracy and Michael entered, Carly joked that Willow might run away instead of attending the trial.

Nina Stopped Willow And Drew, But They Walked Into The Courtroom, And Trina Arrived

Nina stopped Willow and Drew in the corridor, wanting to talk privately, but Alexis called them into the courtroom before Nina could share her urgent news.

At the last minute, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) decided to attend the trial to hear the testimony herself in her and Kai Taylor’s (Jens Austin Astrup) search for information about the shooter.

She clarified to Kai she’d be acting as a supportive girlfriend to Drew’s intern. Curtis was surprised to see his daughter when he arrived, and Trina was shocked to learn her mom didn’t go home after being released from the hospital.

Lulu Returned To The Courtroom And Turner Addressed The Jury

After her argument with Britt, a flustered Lulu hurried into the courtroom, not wanting to discuss her feelings with Dante. Acting D.A. Turner addressed the jury, portraying Willow negatively as a woman who had a breakdown after losing her children due to Drew’s influence.

When it was Alexis’s turn, she told the jury that Michael’s anger and jealousy after Willow left him for his uncle caused her emotional distress months ago.

Dante stepped out into the hallway to take a call. While Alexis explained how the PCPD judged her client instead of looking into other suspects, Justine turned to see that Dante’s seat was empty.
