Later, Drew ended the call and got ready to leave for the party; Willow suggested taking Scout to her grandmother’s instead of leaving her with a sitter. Drew was confused why Scout didn’t express this wish to him, and Willow had to explain that Scout felt very alone.

In the Quartermaine foyer, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) praised Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) for handling Tracy’s hostility this holiday season.

Gio Accepted His Unexpected Christmas Gift

Leo rushed in with a violin case to tell Ned he forgot to give Gio his gift;  Olivia tried to make her son put it back, but he insisted it was for Gio.

Sonny said he and Ned bought it and were waiting for the right moment to give it to him from his grandfathers. Leo didn’t get why they wanted to wait, and Ned explained they wanted to wait until Gio wanted to play music again.

Wiley said Tracy would love to hear him play since she’s been sad, missing Grandma Monica like they all do. Leo suggested a song might help everyone feel better, and after a tense moment, Gio took the case from Leo.

Gio Opened The Case, Became Emotional, But Then Played “Oh Holy Night”

He carefully opened the case and took out the instrument, then made his way into the hallway to have a moment of solitude, tears streaming down his face.

Brook Lynn approached the doorway and paused, her mind racing back to Gio’s emotional explosion at the Nurses Ball when he shattered his violin upon discovering the truth about his biological parents.

She instinctively reached out to place a comforting hand on his shoulder, and after a brief moment, Gio returned to the living room to perform “Oh Holy Night” for the gathered family. As he concluded his heartfelt rendition, Tracy expressed her gratitude, saying, “Thank you. That was beautiful,” before wrapping her arms around him in a warm embrace.
