Laura Encouraged Alexis To Take Drew’s Job
Since Drew’s office was being secretive about the congressman’s condition, Laura called Alexis to her office to get an update.
Alexis explained that the stroke had left Drew unable to move or communicate, and she believed he wouldn’t finish his term in Congress.
Then, Mayor Collins mentioned that the governor needed to appoint someone to take Drew’s place until a special election could occur.
As Port Charles is the largest city in Drew’s district, Laura was asked to suggest a candidate. She told Alexis that she wanted to propose her for the role.
Alexis Wasn’t Sure At First But Said She’d Consider It
Although Alexis felt honored, she pointed out that she had been both imprisoned and disbarred. However, Laura argued that this showed Alexis’s skill in navigating the system for justice.
Still trying to persuade her, Laura talked about the positive impact they could have on the city, emphasizing that they could collaborate in ways she couldn’t with Drew.
Knowing that Alexis wouldn’t prioritize special interests over her constituents like Drew had, Laura asked her to help combat Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota); Alexis agreed to think about the proposal.
Lucas Apologized To Carly
At the Metro Court, Carly eagerly informed Lucas that she wanted to organize a dinner for their family and Marco Rios’s family, (Adrian Anchondo).
This led Lucas to reluctantly admit to his sister that she was correct about Marco’s involvement in Sidwell’s business.
He revealed that he had overheard Marco and his father talking about something illegal, but they hadn’t seen him.
With a sigh, Carly said she didn’t want to be right about Marco and asked whether Lucas intended to report it to the police or the WSB. He replied that he didn’t want Marco to be arrested.
Carly Warned Lucas
Lucas was unsure if he was being tricked or if his relationship was real-he confronted his boyfriend, and admitted he had made a mistake.
Marco explained that he got involved in crime after his mother died, hoping his father could help him heal since he and Natalia Rogers-Ramirez (Eva LaRue) never fixed their broken relationship.
Sidwell took advantage of Marco’s weakness, and Marco promised to cut ties with his father after this business was done.
Carly was worried for her brother’s safety and was unhappy that Lucas wanted to stay with Marco on Spoon Island, and warned Lucas.
Knowing Jenz Sidwell was dangerous, Lucas told his sister he would take Marco with him when he escaped.

Ric Had Breakfast With Sonny
At the Metro Court, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) had breakfast with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and offered to help with legal work since his brother was moving his shipping business to Rochester.
Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) came in and shared that Rocco’s supervisor praised Sonny’s grandson, who might finish his community service early.
Sonny thanked Justine for Rocco Falconeri’s suspended sentence, and Ric appreciated her signing the plea deal.
However, when Justine hinted she had her reasons, Ric looked back and forth between them. Ric complimented Justine for being lenient on Rocco due to his connection to Sonny, and she replied that she didn’t fight proxy battles.
Ric Suspected There Was Something Personal Between Justine And Sonny, And Asked Him
Sonny joked that Justine was always ready for a fair fight.
After Justine left, Ric asked Sonny what was happening between them, wondering why the acting district attorney would talk to him publicly instead of trying to imprison him.
Sonny respected that Justine didn’t aim to ruin Rocco’s life to get to him, and Ric laughed, realizing Sonny liked her.
Sonny noted that Justine might come after him eventually, but he wouldn’t give her anything to use against him, and they both understood their positions.
Ric, still unsure, asked if Sonny was interested in Justine as a rival or as a woman.
Willow Quit The Hospital
At the hospital, Willow told Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) that she was stepping down from her position to dedicate herself to caring for Drew and to make up for the time she lost with her children.
Liz attempted to persuade her that there were options available to continue working-such as extending her leave of absence and relocating Drew to Turning Woods.
However, Willow firmly insisted that Drew remain at home under her supervision, though she assured her friend that she would think about transferring him to a long-term care facility if it became overwhelming for her.
Willow noted that leaving G.H. was sadly the initial step in reconstructing her life. Although disappointed, Liz wished her friend well, and they embraced after agreeing to keep in touch.
Molly Talked To Liz About Liz And Ric
Later on, during her visit to the hospital with the intention of interviewing a witness, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) unexpectedly bumped into Elizabeth.
In an enthusiastic manner, she disclosed that she had spotted Liz and Ric together at the hatchet range on Valentine’s Day.
Molly couldn’t contain her excitement as she expressed her joy over the fact that Liz had decided to give her dad another opportunity at love.
Her delight grew even more when Liz admitted that her time spent with Ric recently had been not only effortless but also incredibly enjoyable.
Tracy Went To Wyndemere To Take Care Of Business-And Put Jenz In His Place!
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) visited Wyndemere to inform Jenz that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) had recovered and was set to return to Deception.
With Maxie back, Tracy demanded a complete audit, including thorough documentation of every shipment SRE Worldwide had managed for the cosmetics brand.
When Jenz tried to brush her off, Tracy asserted that she wouldn’t allow him to treat Deception as a mere subsidiary of SRE Worldwide anymore; he would provide the zinc oxide, and that was final.
Jenz, tapping on his phone, remarked that he preferred their arrangement to remain unchanged, and if Tracy disagreed, she could find another “hobby.”
Just then, Pascal (Marc Forget) entered the study, prompting Jenz to end their meeting and have his butler escort Tracy out.
Pascal Ratted Out Lucas
Back in the study, Pascal informed Jenz that he had seen Lucas eavesdropping the previous day.
Sidwell speculated that Lucas hadn’t told Marco about what he overheard since his son hadn’t mentioned it, but Pascal questioned if Marco was hiding the conversation from him.
Jenz cautioned Pascal never to doubt his son’s loyalty, to which Pascal replied he had no reason to before Lucas.
However, he couldn’t shake the thought of Marco’s reluctance to join the “endeavors,” feeling that Lucas could jeopardize everything Sidwell had been building.
The butler suggested dealing with Lucas right away, but Jenz was reluctant to create unnecessary tension with his son.
Sidwell Told Pascal To Keep An Eye On Lucas, Then Summoned Willow To Wyndemere
Nevertheless, he directed Pascal to ensure that Lucas would not have any further chances to eavesdrop.
Pascal remained anxious that Lucas might persuade Marco to vacate Wyndemere, but Jenz reassured him that Marco understood the significance of being present to keep an eye on Britt.
And if Lucas managed to convince Marco to depart, he simply shrugged and remarked that he would be there to comfort his son during Lucas’s funeral.
Subsequently, Sidwell called for Willow to come to Wyndemere. Upon her arrival at the parapet, he suggested that she take over her husband’s congressional term until its conclusion!

Michael Confronted Dante For Avoiding Him
Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) met Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) in the Quartermaine kitchen and noted they hadn’t spoken since Willow’s verdict.
Dante sighed, saying that even though he wasn’t directly involved in the PCPD’s investigation, as acting commissioner, it was better for both of them if he kept his distance.
When Michael suggested this was just an excuse because Dante was still mad at him, Dante shouted that he had defended Michael despite knowing his alibi was weak, and it backfired on him.
Apologizing, Michael explained he didn’t want to put Dante in a position to report him or step back because Dante was the best at the PCPD, and Michael needed him to find the shooter.
Michael And Dante Continued Talking
Michael added that he welcomed the new investigation into him, hoping everyone would see he was innocent.
Dante then shared that he hated not knowing if he pushed the investigation away from Michael due to the evidence or because he didn’t want his brother to be guilty.
Michael praised Dante for being a great cop and sometimes too hard on himself.
Dante replied Michael was sometimes too much like their father in manipulating things for his benefit and wished he’d just been honest.
When Michael said he trusted Dante but not the legal system (referring to his teenage imprisonment), Dante ended the conversation by stating he believed Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) would uncover the truth.

Chase Went To The PCPD To Do Paperwork
Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) went to the PCPD to do paperwork and overheard Molly and Nathan talking about Michael’s interview not revealing new evidence.
With Molly stepping back from the case and no new leads, Nathan questioned if they needed a new contact with the D.A.’s office.
When Molly ran into Chase at the front desk, she told him she had recused herself from the case. He apologized for suggesting she acted wrongly, and she agreed he was right to worry, which is why she acted.
Before leaving, Molly said she was moving on and advised Chase to do the same.

Chase Spoke To Nathan, Putting A “Bug In His Ear” About Michael Having A Key To Drew’s House
Chase approached Nathan and expressed relief that Det. West was on the case. He noted that if the PCPD didn’t explore every lead, Dante might be seen as protecting Michael.
He pointed out that Nathan might have missed how Michael could have accessed Drew’s house. Since there was no forced entry, the suspect likely had a key, and Chase speculated that Michael might have one.
When Dante arrived at the PCPD, he spoke with Nathan about Maxie waking up. Then Nathan shared the theory that Michael could have had a key to Drew’s house.
Dante Called Turner In Who Said To Get A Search Warrant
They called Turner in, who told them to get a search warrant. Justine told Dante she’d pass the case to a colleague because she was biased, still thinking Willow was guilty.
Turner said she didn’t want this case to ruin her career since if the D.A. arrested Michael, it would mean they charged the wrong person.
She advised Dante to stay away from it too. Back at the Quartermaine house, Chase saw Michael in the kitchen.
When he noticed Michael was avoiding him, Michael asked if they could coexist, as the tension was tough on everyone.
Chase Confronted Michael, Then Nathan Arrived With The Warrant
Chase shot back that Michael could help by turning himself in, and Michael defended himself, saying he didn’t frame Willow.
Chase scoffed, saying Willow would never shoot anyone, but Michael would; just then, Tracy walked in and scolded Chase for still blaming Michael after Willow was wrongly acquitted.
Chase insisted Michael shot Drew, not Willow, and Tracy told him he was in the wrong family if he couldn’t let it go.
Then Nathan came in, and as Chase looked down, the detective said he had a search warrant to find keys to Drew Cain’s house. With nothing to hide, Michael gave his key ring to Nathan, unaware of the extra key on his key ring.
