Kristina Tries To Fix The Cody-Molly Situation
To resolve the issue between Cody and Molly, Kristina found him in the Quartermaine kitchen, surprised to hear him on the phone with his book club.
Although he was reading Pride & Prejudice, Kristina wanted him to finish Molly’s manuscript; when she mentioned being there behind Molly’s back, Cody lost interest in the novel.
Kristina explained that Casey, the character based on Cody, becomes deep and interesting by the end, but Cody, hurt by Molly’s portrayal, wanted nothing to do with it until it was published.
Kristina shared that Molly was rejecting the book deal because she hadn’t had the chance to refine the manuscript, and the editor wanted it as it was.
When Cody asked why Molly wouldn’t let her great book be published, Kristina said it showed how much her sister cared about him.
Kristina Explained She Doesn’t Want Molly To Miss The Chance To See Her Book Published
She didn’t want Molly to miss the chance since the book was a beautiful story about two people getting to know each other beyond first impressions, and her sister deserved to see her work published.
Since Cody’s opinion mattered to Molly, Kristina hoped he’d read the book with an open mind and then decide what he thought.
When Cody asked what if he didn’t like Casey’s journey, Kristina replied that then her sister was mistaken about him.
“She believes you’re a hero-this is your chance to prove her right,” she said. After Kristina left, Cody started reading Molly’s manuscript.

Alexis Talked To Suzanne And Molly About Her Meeting With Laura
After meeting Laura Collins (Genie Francis), Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) returned to Miller & Davis. She told Suzanne (Jen Ray) and Molly about the mayor’s recommendation for her to replace Drew in Congress.
They thought she’d be perfect for the role, but Alexis hesitated, unsure if she could compromise her political values.
Molly suggested she see it as a compromise for the greater good, similar to how she defended Willow for Scout Cain’s (Cosette Abinante) sake.
Suzanne agreed, saying Alexis might not like everyone she’d work with, but if it benefited her constituents, it could be worth it.
Alexis Was Convinced To Serve Out Drew’s Term In Congress
Despite their good points, Alexis questioned if accepting the recommendation was truly for the greater good or just to boost her ego, noting that Drew wasn’t always corrupt and politics might have changed him.
She feared that taking the position would expose her past mistakes (prison time, alcoholism, and disbarment) and affect Molly, Kristina, and Scout.
Molly argued that Alexis would be teaching Scout to face challenges and overcome adversity.
Persuaded, Alexis declared her desire to serve in Congress. Suzanne and Molly cheered.

Willow Told Nina About Taking Drew’s Congressional Seat
At Crimson, Nina proposed to Willow that they host a party for Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko) since they would be at her house more often.
Willow thought it was a great idea and agreed, mentioning they had all faced a lot and more challenges were ahead.
She explained that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) only accepted joint custody to avoid a visitation hearing, fearing he might lose custody if charged with Drew’s shooting.
Additionally, some of Drew’s political allies wanted her to complete his term in Congress-Nina saw this as a great chance, but Willow hesitated, saying she knew little about federal politics.
Nina reassured her that she had great people skills and was excellent as a spokesperson for The New Tomorrow Institute.
Nina Promised To Be Willow’s Secret Weapon
She promised to be Willow’s secret weapon for high-level introductions as she did for Drew during his campaign.
Unlike Drew, who used his position for personal revenge, Nina believed people would connect with Willow, allowing her to genuinely assist her constituents.
With only a year left in Drew’s term, Willow could step away if she didn’t like it.
She was uncertain, especially as she was about to regain custody of her children and care for Drew-Nina argued that Michael would adjust to her schedule.
She encouraged her to think about admitting Drew to a facility; moreover, Nina pointed out that if Drew couldn’t finish his term, Willow would be his preferred choice to take over.

A Guilty Lulu Opened Up To Her Mother Laura About The Nathan-Maxie Situation
Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) was both excited and anxious about Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) waking up.
She sought Laura’s advice since Maxie was returning home to her love, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey).
Laura reassured Lulu that her feelings for Nathan didn’t diminish her support for Maxie’s family and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) in recent months.
Lulu argued that her feelings for Nathan only emerged because Maxie was absent, and Maxie deserved to reclaim her life.
When Laura tried to comfort her, Lulu, feeling guilty, said a true friend wouldn’t kiss her best friend’s husband and justify pursuing him.
Laura Refused To Let Lulu Feel Guilty
Laura would not allow Lulu to keep feeling guilty, pointing out that Maxie was unaware Nathan was alive when she fell into a coma and had already moved on with Spinelli.
Nevertheless, Lulu was convinced that Nathan’s return would alter everything for Maxie, who had suffered greatly from his death years earlier.
Sensing that Lulu had deeper feelings for Nathan than she acknowledged, Laura inquired if Lulu had spoken to Nathan about it.
Lulu confessed she hadn’t, as she believed Nathan would be thrilled to reconnect with Maxie since he never stopped loving her.
Laura Thought Nathan Was Excited About Maxie, But Perplexed As Lulu
Laura laughed, thinking that Nathan was likely excited about Maxie being awake, yet just as perplexed as Lulu, and she shouldn’t presume to understand his emotions.
Wishing her tangled feelings would simply vanish, Lulu believed that Maxie and Nathan were entitled to a joyful conclusion.
But she genuinely felt sympathy for Spinelli and assumed he would selflessly step aside so Maxie and Nathan could come together.
Reflecting on Spinelli enduring such heartache, Lulu sighed, realizing it was fortunate that she and Nathan had barely begun their journey, even if it didn’t seem that way. Laura smiled understandingly.

Brook Lynn Counseled Spinelli
Before Maxie’s return, Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) visited her home with groceries and found a sad Spinelli.
He shared his fears about losing Maxie and his family to Nathan; Brook Lynn told Spinelli not to assume he would lose Maxie without her input.
Spinelli admitted that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) had said Maxie and Nathan getting back together wasn’t certain.
He mentioned that while his bond with Maxie was unique and she was his true love, she had deeply loved Nathan.
Although she wasn’t in town when they got together, Brook Lynn reminded Spinelli that she witnessed how he and Maxie created their special relationship and reunited.
Brook Lynn Scolded Spinelli For Thinking Nathan Was More Important
Brook Lynn also scolded him for thinking Maxie’s relationship with Nathan was more important than what she built with him.
Spinelli replied that he would choose Maxie in any universe, but worried that if Nathan hadn’t been taken from her, she might not have chosen him.
When Brook Lynn suggested that Maxie might be scared too, Spinelli confessed he would be heartbroken if she chose Nathan but would respect her choice.
Brook Lynn insisted that Maxie didn’t settle for him but chose him, encouraging Spinelli to let her choose him again and reminding him how he made her feel special every day.
With a new determination, Spinelli declared he would do just that and asked Brook Lynn for help to make it happen.

Nathan And Dante Talked About Michael’s Key Ring
At the PCPD, Nathan told Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) that Michael had given up his key ring, and forensics found some loose keys in his office at Aurora.
Nathan thought it was unlikely, as a shooter wouldn’t leave their key ring behind, and Dante agreed but said they needed to follow protocol.
With Nathan’s shift ending, Dante suggested he prepare for Maxie’s return, but Nathan wanted to stay at the precinct, worried about facing Maxie.
Nathan mentioned he didn’t want James West (Gary James Fuller) to be confused if things went wrong, but Dante believed Maxie would be glad to see him alive, just like everyone else.
Since she had moved on with Spinelli while he was thought to be dead, Nathan didn’t want to be a burden for Maxie.
Dante And Nathan Continued Talking About Maxie
When Dante remarked that it seemed Nathan was trying to convince himself to let Maxie go, Nathan thought that might be best since so much had changed for her.
Nathan suggested Dante understood Maxie’s situation well, but Dante felt Nathan and Lulu could relate to her better.
Nathan argued that time had frozen for him and Lulu, while others moved on. He questioned if Dante would have left his life with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) if he knew Lulu would wake up.

Michael’s Framed, Drew’s Key Found On His Key Ring!
Dante explained the timing was different since he and Lulu weren’t together when she got hurt, and Sam died before Lulu woke.
He had been devoted to Sam and intended to spend his life with her. Nathan wondered if Maxie would be as dedicated to her life with Spinelli, but Dante warned him not to assume what Maxie wanted.
Nathan said he’d try the marriage again for James, and Dante encouraged him to only do it if he truly wanted.
Before Nathan could respond, Dante got a call: The forensics team found a match; “My brother lied,” Dante said with a sigh. “He has a key to Drew’s house.”
