Alexis Davis Pleads With Drew Cain

At the Metro Court Gardens, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) rejected Alexis’s request to let Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) spend time with Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) family.

In a bid to change his mind, Alexis reminded Drew of how he had relied on the Davis women for help with Scout during his incapacitation. However, Drew shot back, blaming Scout’s injury on Danny’s poor example.

He accused Alexis of filling Scout’s mind with harmful lies about him, snapping that it was obvious she despised him. So why would he allow her near Scout again?

Jack Brennan’s Deal

Just then, Jack arrived and overheard Alexis pleading with Drew to do what was best for Scout. Drew countered that keeping Scout away was actually in her best interest.

Jack stepped in, hinting that he had some dirt on Drew, suggesting that unless the former congressman had a spotless record from his time in office, it would be prudent not to ruffle any feathers.

After Drew left, Jack made a proposition to Alexis: he would divulge what he knew about Drew in return for information on Jasper Jacks Enterprises.

Teen Plotting

While spending time at the Quartermaine boathouse, General Hospital recaps for Friday reveal that Danny expressed his frustrations to Charlotte about Drew’s refusal to let him see Scout.

Charlotte urged him to take a low blow by fabricating something damaging about Drew. She told him if Drew goes low, then Danny should go lower.

Danny felt uncertain, aware that it would negatively impact his sister; however, when Charlotte highlighted that Drew was causing harm to Scout by keeping her away from her family, Danny resolved to uncover something to use against Drew.

“And it’s got to make him look really terrible,” Charlotte confirmed. This sounds like trouble all around!

Jason Morgan’s News

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) told Carly he could no longer work for Sonny; his time in Jakarta made him realize he needed to prioritize his son.

As Danny’s only parent, he couldn’t take the same risks anymore. Carly, having seen Jason struggle with work and fatherhood, supported his decision.

She recognized how hard it was for him, given his loyalty to Sonny, and Jason apologized for times when his loyalty to Sonny came before hers.

They discussed Jason’s next steps, and Carly suggested he join the Quartermaines at ELQ; she also asked if Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) knew about his decision, and Jason admitted he hadn’t told her yet.

By the end of their talk, the best friends promised that their bond would remain strong, even with Jason leaving Sonny’s organization.

Justine Turner’s Shock

In the apartment above Charlie’s, Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) anxiously asked Sonny if he intended to have Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) killed in Pentonville.

Sonny said he was now a legitimate coffee importer and wanted to buy back his piers after the auction.

Justine cautioned that it wouldn’t be easy: the statute of limitations on some of Sonny’s past crimes hasn’t expired, and murder charges never expire.

They discussed their relationship, and Sonny asked if Justine was uncomfortable being seen with him.

She confessed she had feelings for him but felt they couldn’t go public because it could jeopardize her career. That was because if the D.A. pursued a case against Sonny, they agreed to keep their relationship secret and shared a passionate kiss.

Michael Corinthos Gets The ‘Okay’

Meanwhile, General Hospital recaps for August 14 reveal Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) asked Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) if Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) could move into the gatehouse, but she quickly refused.

Michael mentioned he had information about Willow that she wanted to keep private. By having her in the gatehouse, he could monitor her while she maintained her relationship with the kids.

Tracy worried that Willow’s presence might create problems for Brook Lynn and Harrison Chase (Amanda Setton, Josh Swickard). Michael continued to plead for Tracy’s help to save his family, and eventually, she agreed.

Rocco Falconeri’s Plan

Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) swapped shifts with Danny so Scout could practice at the Metro Court pool; Scout was concerned that Drew might prevent her and Rocco from spending time together because of Rocco’s grandfather.

She lamented that life was simpler when her dad was in a wheelchair. Although she loved her mom’s family, she felt conflicted due to her dad’s feelings and his need to ensure her safety.

To avoid complicating matters, Rocco offered to keep his distance, but Scout insisted he was the only one she could confide in.

To hang out without Drew finding out, Rocco suggested they both lie about needing time alone.

Molly Lansing-Davis’ Suggestion

Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) was busy tending to a bite that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) had received from Tracy’s horse, Hades.

Cody couldn’t help but reflect on the horse’s unusually irritable behavior since James West (Gary James Fuller) had departed.

As Cody opened up about his own feelings of missing James, a spark of inspiration struck Molly.

She proposed a plan to help distract him from his worries: why not take a trip to Savannah? There, they could attend a romance convention that she had been invited to, where she could promote her latest book and perhaps rekindle some excitement in their lives.
