Hudson Parker’s Offer

Josslyn met Hudson, who turned out to be the VP of Operations at Jasper Jacks Enterprises, a company owned by her father Jax (most recently Ingo Rademacher); they met at the Metro Court Gardens.

Josslyn was shocked when Hudson told her that her dad was sailing around the world and had made her the new CEO of the company.

She scoffed, saying she wanted nothing to do with the company. Hudson sarcastically asked what was keeping her too busy to manage JJE and was surprised to find out that Josslyn was a WSB agent.

They argued, with Hudson frustrated that Josslyn had wasted his time after he traveled all the way from Australia to meet her, while Joss was upset that Jax didn’t ask her himself.

She told Hudson to get her a list of qualified candidates to whom she could hand over the company.

Ava Jerome Bonds With Drew Cain

General Hospital recaps for August 7 reveal that Ava Jerome (Maura West) extended an invitation to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to join her for drinks at the picturesque Metro Court Gardens.

During their time together, the two found common ground as they shared their experiences and challenges as single parents, as well as their mutual disdain for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

However, the atmosphere took a tense turn when Ava returned from the restroom and encountered an irate Josslyn.

The tension was palpable, and Hudson quickly noticed the friction when Josslyn referred to Ava by name, having overheard Ethan Lovett (Christian Howard) mention her during a previously bugged phone conversation.

Willow Cain Drinks The Drugged Coffee

Meanwhile, Willow unexpectedly had Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Sienna Goerisch) for the afternoon and promised them a delightful surprise after finishing her work.

When she spotted Wiley with her iced coffee, Willow scolded her son for taking her drink, only to drink it herself, oblivious to the fact that Jacinda had laced it.

With excitement, Willow announced to her children that they were heading to the arcade, grabbed her car keys, and the three of them left Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) condo.

Willow ran off, leaving her purse on the couch, and she was obviously already high. Everyone was excited, Willow overly so, about an afternoon at the arcade.

Michael Corinthos Has Questions

Jacinda revealed to Michael the restraining order that Willow had placed against her. He assured her that he would enlist his lawyers to contest it, but he was concerned that this was merely Willow’s initial move in her quest to exert control over him and take the children.

Jacinda asserted that Willow had become arrogant and overly self-assured, especially given her own troubled history, and expressed her belief that Willow was on the verge of making a significant public blunder.

Michael picked up on her remark and pressed her for details about what his girlfriend had done.

Molly Lansing-Davis’s Warning

At the courthouse, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) cautioned Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).

She told them that the defense was framing the case as more than just an assault, which could negatively impact their standing with the jury.

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) informed Portia that he, along with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett), planned to visit Desmond Ashford (Yireh Aviah Lafond) and insisted that Isaiah should not be there.

Isaiah consented to keep his distance, but Jordan privately opted not to join Curtis. She reminded him that he and Portia had agreed to keep their partners out of visits with the baby.

Stella Henry’s Hope

Upon Portia’s return home, Stella Henry (Vernée Watson), who had been watching over Des, expressed her hope that Portia and Curtis could find a way to work together.

With a deep breath, Portia remarked that cooperation needed to be a mutual effort. Soon after, Curtis and Marshall arrived, and Curtis took a moment to connect with Des, assuring his son that he was fighting for their bond.

As Curtis and Portia observed Des sleeping, they came to a consensus that regardless of the court’s outcome, they must shield their son from its repercussions.

Later, Curtis confided in Aunt Stella that once he was cleared of charges, he had no plans to allow Isaiah near Desmond.

Isaiah Gannon Vents

Meanwhile, at the hospital, General Hospital recaps reveal that Isaiah expressed his frustrations to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) about losing his composure on the witness stand.

He feared made him appear vengeful to the jury. Isaiah wished for the jury to look beyond his anger and grasp the reality of the situation.

He acknowledged that matters would only deteriorate if Curtis was acquitted. That was his real fear.

Jordan Ashford Catches Up

After the hearing, Molly and Jordan found themselves at the Metro Court pool, where Jordan expressed to Molly that she could have been tougher on her during cross-examination.

Molly responded by saying that Jordan was still family to her and that she aimed to handle the case with honor, wanting to protect Jordan from unnecessary harm.

Meanwhile, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) checked in with Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) at the pool, inquiring about his day in court and officially welcoming him to the PCPD.

Later, Anna met up with Jordan, and during their conversation, Jordan shared that her romantic reunion with Curtis had its complexities.

She expressed her hope for a fresh start, wanting to explore their relationship anew once the trial was over.
