‘General Hospital’ Recap Friday, August 8: Britt In Danger, Anna’s Threat, Dante Blasts Liesl

General Hospital recap is in for Friday, August 8, 2025! In today’s episode, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) threatens Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna).

Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) meet. Plus, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) busts Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) flirting with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).

Alexis Davis’ Plea

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) run into each other at the Quartermaine mansion. Monica Quartermaine (Lesley Charleson) isn’t seeing visitors today. (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)

Alexis has something really important to tell her, and she might be the only one who can help. It’s about Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) moving Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) to DC.

Alexis starts telling Jason about the situation with Drew and Scout. Alexis asks Jason to talk to Monica about Scout. Do it for Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), she says.

Drew Cain’s Revenge

Drew ambushes Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) at the hospital. He wants information about Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).

The nurse says she’s trying to put her life back together. Drew denies destroying her life. The congressman just wants Willow to know the truth! Wow, he sounds just like my ex-husband.

After Drew leaves, he makes a phone call. He wants an insurance fraud investigation opened up.

Portia Robinson Flirts

Portia gushes about Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) surgery skills. The surgeon is glad to see Portia still at the hospital.

She has no plans to leave. He’s glad to hear it. Gannon tells her about the cabin he’s renovating. When Isaiah leaves, Portia turns around to see Stella glaring at her. Portia calls Isaiah her friend, but Stella reminds her the man is her superior.

Jordan Ashford’s Apartment

Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) pass each other while jogging. Curtis says avoiding each other is silly. They chat and Curtis says he worked things out with Portia. Jordan is happy for him despite her feelings.

She’s such a classy lady. Jordan tells him she put a down payment on an apartment. The walk-through is next week and Curtis offers to tag along.

They stand up and Jordan points out her new apartment. She has a full view of the harbor, just like in Baltimore.

Lulu Spencer vs Liesl Obrecht

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu are in Laura’s office. She wanted to meet with them, but they aren’t sure why. The mayor is wrapping up a meeting.

Dante suggests it might be about Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr). Laura Collins (Genie Francis) runs in all out of breath. She was putting Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cogrove) in his place in a city council meeting!

Laura says this is about Rocco. Please make peace with Liesl. Lulu is horrified! The mayor knows how Lulu and Dante feel, but Rocco feels differently. Dante says there must be someone better than Liesl for Rocco to talk to.

Laura suggests Liesl is the best in some ways. Lulu and Laura debate about whether Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was an evil, horrible demon.

The mayor suggests that Britt did a bad thing, but maybe she was more than that. Lulu seems baffled. When Laura says that this is about Rocco, he’s the important person in this equation, then Lulu agrees. Can the mayor set up a meeting with Liesl?

Liesl arrives and they all discuss the situation. The mayor is having a hard time keeping things calm. Liesl’s comments about Britt aren’t helping!

Lulu suggests Liesl come over and can answer Rocco’s questions. The doctor clarifies that they are asking for a supervised visit. Will they be monitoring the questions and answers? The mayor tries once again to keep things civil.

Dante and Liesl start getting heated about Britt and Rocco’s story. Dante threatens to throw Liesl in a jail cell. The detective pushes her to leave town. Liesl reminds her what Rocco would think of his actions.

Anna Devane’s Threat

Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) is with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) this weekend, so Carly is thinking about a getaway. They discuss where to go.

Carly suggests wine tasting, if Jack can get off. They kiss. Anna interrupts and tells Carly they have unfinished business. Carly tells her to reschedule. Carly says that Anna can talk to her lawyer. Anna says she was held hostage by events while glaring at Jack.

Carly doesn’t notice the look. Carly asks what she wants to discuss. It’s about a close member of her family, the commissioner replies.

Anna says it’s about Marco Rios’ (Adrian Anchondo) statement to the police. Carly is fed up. The lady storms off leaving Jack and Anna alone. They debate about Anna’s actions. If anything happens to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), it will be on Jack’s head.

Anna exits and Carly returns with bubbly. They mention Josslyn, then make a toast. Jack admits he’s been keeping a secret.

Britt Westbourne’s Close Call

Relaxing by the pool, Britt is approached by the resort boss. What is she doing? She should be in the lab, they are expecting results! Britt says, “It’s frustrating when expectations aren’t met, isn’t it?” Ooooh, good one Britt! The brunette says, “You can tell him I’m on strike.”

A bit later, Britt gets up and tells the resort boss that she’ll let him know what she wants for dinner. As she turns to leave, the man grabs her hard by the arm.

A threat is made as Britt’s eyes get wide. Britt warns him that their boss wouldn’t like her being treated this way. She’s a troublemaker.

Meanwhile, Joss and Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) stroll into the resort pretending to be a couple. Vaughn calls to the resort boss and asks where they check in. Britt isn’t turning back and is wearing that big floppy hat, so Joss doesn’t recognize her yet.

Over at the Q mansion, Anna knocks on the door. She’s been thinking about Britt and she says she was wrong. Jason needs to find out ASAP.
