Mother Vs. Son

At a Metro Court table, Obrecht wanted to know about Nathan’s reunion with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). She was disappointed when Nathan said it was over because Maxie chose to stay with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson).

Obrecht questioned why he wasn’t fighting for her. When she suggested he do it for James West (Gary James Fuller) so his parents could be together, he snapped, “Leave James out of this!”

He continued, “How dare you say I’m neglecting my son! Who are you to judge anyone’s parenting?” Obrecht backed off quickly, and Nathan apologized for his outburst before leaving.

Lulu Spencer Interviewed Willow Cain

At a nearby table, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) joined Willow and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to interview the new congresswoman.

Willow lied and said she couldn’t remember who suggested she take over Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) seat; when she struggled with Lulu’s next question about policies, Nina interrupted and took over the interview.

As Willow faltered and her mother stepped in again, Lulu noticed Nina kept saying “we,” questioning if she was taking a role in her daughter’s job. Nina backtracked, offering to step aside and assuring Willow she had it under control.

Alone, Lulu asked how Willow felt about the new job. Willow admitted she initially wanted to say no, but others convinced her it was a good chance to honor her husband and help the community.

Nathan West Confides In Nina Reeves

Nathan met Nina at the bar and confirmed his mom was gone, admitting things were tense; Nina was surprised Maxie chose Spinelli, but noted it let him go after Lulu.

When she worried about Nathan rushing, he reminded her that she told him to trust his heart, which said not to wait for Lulu. Nathan then texted Lulu to meet him outside the restaurant to check on her feelings.

Lulu wanted to explore their potential relationship but was worried about others involved and how Maxie might feel. Nathan understood her friendship with Maxie was important and didn’t want to pressure her, but he knew what he wanted.

Lulu admitted she wanted him too and decided to go for it. “But we can’t keep this secret,” she insisted, “We need to tell Maxie, so who will tell her?”

Nina And Willow Continued Their Talk

Nina returned to her daughter, worried she had overstepped, but Willow reassured her she appreciated the support. Willow then told her mother she planned to use this chance to improve her life and her children’s.

Nina was happy to hear Willow say there would be no more power imbalance with men like Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) or Drew. Nina wondered if Willow would fight for more custody, but Willow said now, if Michael tried to push her, she could push back.

Mother & Daughter Make Up

When Trina told Portia that Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) had come to speak with her, Portia was shocked that he had confronted her.

She reassured her daughter that she hadn’t asked him to do that. Trina said he made that clear and shared that Dr. Gannon helped her see some difficult truths, and she needed to apologize to her mom.

Trina acknowledged her anger and judgment, expressing regret for hurting her; the mother and daughter tearfully expressed their love for one another and embraced.

Happy to be communicating like they used to, Portia still wanted to be honest about her relationship with Isaiah.

Trina Robinson Felt The Baby Kick

General Hospital recaps for February 27 reveal that Portia explained that he was supporting her even though she was having Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) baby.

Trina admitted she wanted to dislike Isaiah, but now she realizes how much he cares for her and how happy he makes her. “Just know that we’re not going to bond overnight,” she said with a smile.

As they hugged again, Portia felt the baby kick and placed Trina’s hand on her belly so she could feel it too. Trina welcomed her baby brother or sister, and Portia was excited that they had shared this moment.

Laura Collins Came To Apologize

Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was still shocked about Willow taking Drew’s congressional seat when Laura Collins (Genie Francis) visited her office.

Alexis wanted to know why the mayor hadn’t given her a warning; Laura claimed she tried to alert her, and Alexis found out she hadn’t seen her text.

Realizing it was worse because she had actually gotten excited about becoming a congresswoman and had told others, Alexis was amazed to lose to Willow, of all people.

She thought the governor preferred someone who wouldn’t challenge him, and Laura was hopeful that Willow wouldn’t let anyone push her around. “Yeah, I wouldn’t worry about Willow Cain,” Alexis said mysteriously.

The Ladies Talked More

“She’s not weak. Under that gentle, caring exterior is a young woman who is… surprisingly clever.” Laura shared that she had been eager to work with Alexis and felt bad for getting her hopes up.

Alexis suggested that perhaps things turned out for the best, and when Laura showed doubt, she joked that she would keep saying that until she believed it.

As Laura left, she hoped this would be a great chance for Willow and mentioned it might help her not have to center her life around Drew.

When Alexis remarked, “I think a lot of people would benefit from her spending a lot less time with him,” Laura looked at her curiously.

Jenz Sidwell’s Plan

Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) joined his father on the Wyndemere parapet, where Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) pointed out the piers he purchased from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

He said they were just the start of avenging Natalia Rogers-Ramirez’s (Eva LaRue) death. Back inside, Sidwell cheerfully announced that Willow would be taking over Drew’s congressional seat, and Marco questioned how that would help them get Sonny to face consequences.

Sidwell reminded his son that Willow was previously married to Michael and suggested she could leverage her new political influence to prompt the FBI to look into his father’s illegal actions.

Marco noted that Sonny had previously evaded the FBI and expressed concern that their own actions might come under scrutiny.

Britt Westbourne’s Huntington’s Medicine Plan

At the hospital, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) urgently asked Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) if he had found her Huntington’s medication.

He said he hadn’t, and when she mentioned Marco might know, he confessed his boyfriend was clueless. Britt then showed him a syringe of sodium pentathol, saying she’d use it on Pascal (Marc Forget) during her next injection.

Lucas worried it was too dangerous and promised to find her medicine with more time. Britt insisted she was out of time, prompting Lucas to rush out for help.

Liesl Obrecht Barges In

Britt was filling a syringe when Obrecht burst into her office, making her hide it. Obrecht complained about Nathan not being himself and snapping at her, plus he wouldn’t fight for Maxie. Britt refused to talk sense into him.

After listing reasons why Spinelli would be great for Maxie, Obrecht realized Britt was talking about herself and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

Britt denied it, saying she and Jason weren’t together, but Obrecht believed they would be happy together if Britt would just stop holding herself back.

Lucas Jones Asked Marco Rios For Help

General Hospital recaps for Friday’s show note that Lucas reached Wyndemere and asked Marco about Sidwell threatening Britt; Marco feared knowing too much could endanger him, but Lucas insisted he was already at risk and wanted to know the extent.

Marco refused to share details about the project but mentioned Britt was getting daily injections to manage her Huntington’s. When Lucas confirmed Britt had told him the same, Marco regretted talking to her, claiming she was untrustworthy.

Lucas countered that she had said the same about him, yet he had been honest. Marco was frustrated about being deceived, but when Lucas asked how that felt, he admitted he couldn’t criticize.

He was worried about Britt, and Lucas pushed him to get a dose to reverse-engineer; Marco finally agreed they had to save Britt from her situation.

Lucy Coe Had Some Explaining To Do

Lucy was excited when Maxie entered the Deception offices and hugged her tightly. When Lucy eagerly wanted to go out for drinks and chat about Nathan, Maxie sensed she was hiding something.

Lucy tried to act clueless, but Maxie pressed her, and she finally confessed that after collapsing on live TV and going viral, their sales dropped.

Looking at the computer numbers, Maxie wondered how Deception was still operating, and Lucy revealed that a guardian angel had saved them.

Reluctantly, Maxie asked who it was and was shocked to find out it was Sidwell; Lucy insisted they had no choice.

Maxie Jones Warns Sidwell

She assured Maxie they hadn’t given him a share of the company, only control over raw materials, shipping, and distribution; Maxie understood the deal but decided it was time to take control.

Soon, Sidwell arrived, claiming to be happy to see Maxie improving-he offered to update her over lunch, but Maxie refused and suggested he go with Lucy instead.

When she mentioned they needed to talk about his “exit strategy from the company,” he insisted he wasn’t leaving Deception and reminded her of his five-year contract.

He pretended to worry that fighting him in court could harm the company and her recovery, suggesting she accept his support. As he and Lucy left, Maxie warned him that this conversation wasn’t finished.
