‘General Hospital’ Recap Friday, January 9: Brad’s Warning, Trina & Kai’s Risky Choice & Alexis Exposed

General Hospital recap is in for Friday, January 9, 2026! In today’s episode, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) issues a warning. Meanwhile, Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) make a decision about the ringtone situation.

Brad Cooper’s Warning

Brad talks to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) at the hospital. The woman admits she’s feeling more like herself now that she has her doctor’s coat back.

Brad questions her about New Year’s Eve. The lady recalls kissing Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Britt lies and tells Brad she was working. The young man knows she’s lying. (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)

Britt admits she was trying to have a personal life. Brad can’t give that to her. Brad guesses it was Jason and is horrified!

The brunette says they had a real conversation and a kiss. Then, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott) interrupted. Britt still would have slept with Jason. Brad seems to remember Jason breaking her heart. 

They debate about Jason’s intentions. Britt eventually confesses it has actually been two kisses, not just one. Brad urges her not to let a third kiss happen. However, he will be there for her when Jason breaks her heart yet again.

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) talks to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). The mayor shares the tidbit about Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) triangle with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Ava Jerome (Maura West).

Sonny thinks the villain is targeting Ava because of Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola). The mob boss is rattled by Sidwell threatening Ace Cassadine (Karis and Kiernan Barry). 

Laura admits she’s been compromised. The mob boss tries to reassure her. Anyone would have done what she did in that situation.

They talk about missing Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary). Laura can feel Sidwell’s grip around her tightening.

Jacinda Breckell Explains

Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) is caught off guard to see Jacinda Breckell (Paige Herschell) at th Q mansion. The blonde returns Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ (Kate Mansi) money and came to say goodbye. 

Jacinda explains that she was seeing Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) when Michael asked for her help. It was before they had developed feelings for each other.

The lady planned on confessing, but wanted more time with him first. Michael believes her and doesn’t want her to leave Port Charles.

Jacinda can’t work in this town anymore. Michael won’t forget she took a risk for him. Whatever they have feels real. Jacinda promises to stay as long as she can. They share a smooch.

Alexis Davis Confronted

Tracy bursts into the law office to confront Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Eventually, the lawyer confesses to bluffing.

She also admits Tracy is lucky she didn’t perjure herself. They argue about who is really guilty. Tracy says that Willow Tait Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) is not an innocent girl. 

Tracy starts raging about Willow manipulating people to see her children. The lawyer reasons it’s the only way Willow could fight back. Alexis believes in Willow’s innocence and tells Tracy to get out.

At The Grill, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Willow are celebrating. They see Jason and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). When Jason and Carly sit down at a table, the blonde worries about Michael.

Jason thinks there’s no need to worry as Michael is innocent. Carly reminds him that innocent people go to prison all the time. Jason is worried Drew will want more revenge. 

Drew apologizes for his testimony. Willow thought it was perfect since she was allowed to tell “my truth.” Willow worries about Jason’s killer moves. Drew says he will protect her. Willow reminds him that Carly is even worse. 

Drew marches over to Carly and Jason’s table. The man tells the duo that Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) can’t be near Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante).

Drew brags about taking the kids and slamming the door in Carly’s face. The blonde throws her water on the congressman. 

Trina Robinson’s Decision

Trina and Kai continue discussing what to do about the ringtone. They go over the evidence. Trina realizes that Willow could end up getting custody.

Kai tells her that if they go to the police, then they could be arrested as well. Trina wonders about immunity deals. Kai thinks it’s too dangerous with Drew on the loose. 

They decide to tell Alexis everything they know.
