Lulu Spencer’s Confession

AMP in the post

Maxie felt relieved to have a break from paperwork when Lulu showed up at Deception, but her best friend’s mood made Maxie anxious that something troubling was on Lulu’s mind.

Eventually, Lulu admitted that she and Nathan had grown close while Maxie was in her coma. Maxie sought clarification, and Lulu shared that when Nathan returned, she helped him connect with James West (Gary James Fuller), leading to them spending more time together.

Amid all the chaos in their lives, they found themselves together and realized there was a spark between them. Maxie cautiously inquired about how far things had progressed, and Lulu assured her they hadn’t been intimate.

Besties Clash

General Hospital recaps for Friday’s show note that Lulu mentioned they ended things as soon as Maxie woke up, so if she wanted her husband back, she could. but Maxie chose Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson).

Maxie questioned whether she truly had a choice, admitting she sensed something was off with Nathan the moment she saw him, and now she wondered if it was related to Lulu.

When Lulu asked if Maxie regretted choosing Spinelli, Maxie pondered if she had come to seek “permission” to go after Nathan. Lulu maintained that she only wanted to be truthful with her best friend.

Maxie acknowledged that Nathan had the right to move on, but added, “just not with you.”

Maxie Jones Made Her Feelings Clear

Maxie conveyed to Lulu that if she sought her approval, she would be disappointed. She simply could not bear to see her closest friend in a romantic relationship with someone she had deep feelings for.

Lulu, on the other hand, maintained that she was merely attempting to pursue her own emotions and held onto the hope that this was a hurdle they could eventually overcome. However, Maxie was not optimistic about that possibility.

Once Lulu departed, Maxie gazed wistfully at a photograph on her desk that captured a moment with Spinelli and the children. Outside, Lulu inhaled deeply, striving to regain her composure.

Surf Lounge Fun

At the Surf Lodge, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup)  were excited about pictures of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) rescue dog, Fizz, with Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza).

Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruener) showed up and said someone on the condo board thought there was a dog in the building.

Gio promised not to bring Fizz when he visited her anymore, but Emma didn’t mind what others thought. Kai had an idea, saying they could make Fizz an emotional support dog to bypass the HOA rules.

While looking at the form for Fizz, they realized they didn’t know the dog’s birthday, so Trina suggested today.

Trina Robinson’s Voice Heard

Later, a waitress brought a cupcake with a candle, and they jokingly sang “Happy Birthday” to Kai. Emma and Gio quickly stopped as Trina’s singing impressed everyone in the restaurant.

After getting free drinks, they joked about having Trina sing everywhere, and when she protested, Gio said he knew the perfect spot for her to perform.

He mentioned that Charlie’s Pub was reopening soon and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) was planning an open mic night.

Trina was hesitant, but everyone praised her talent, and Gio encouraged her to share it-when Emma said it would also help Kristina, Trina reluctantly agreed.

Josslyn Jacks Rats Out Her Mom

Josslyn got to the Corinthos Coffee office and told Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) to leave so she could speak with Jason; Britt objected, but Jason kindly asked her to go.

Once she left, Josslyn scolded Jason for telling her mom about her being in the WSB. He said he couldn’t keep lying to his best friend, but assured her he warned Carly not to expose her daughter.

Josslyn sarcastically remarked that he couldn’t lie to Carly, yet she lied to him about hiding Valentin in her attic. Remembering that Valentin almost killed Carly, Jason realized he must have offered her a way to help Josslyn escape the WSB in return for her assistance.

He then asked Josslyn if she would tell anyone about Valentin, and she said she wouldn’t, as her mom would face treason charges.

Josslyn pushed Jason to make her mom leave Valentin. When he suggested taking out the Cassadine, Josslyn insisted he didn’t need to kill him; he just needed to reason with her mom.

But Jason doubted she’d listen, since she had turned against him and was now depending on Valentin. Josslyn worried her mom was isolated because she couldn’t trust Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna)  or Valentin.

Jason quickly checked if she had told her mom about Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), too.

Josslyn Continues Her Rant

Josslyn said she had distracted her with her real target: Sonny and criminals like him. Jason asked if that was true or just a cover, and Joss admitted that sometimes when she thinks about her actions, Sonny comes to mind.

Jason argued that Jack was manipulating her, and she pointedly asked if Sonny had manipulated him when he joined the organization.

Jason shifted the topic, saying there were bigger issues to address, and Josslyn firmly told him to talk to Carly and get her to cut ties with Valentin.

Britt Westbourne Spills About Ross Cullum

General Hospital recaps for March 6 note that Britt came back to her hospital office and found  Brennan at her desk, accusing her of avoiding him.

He said she hadn’t given the updates on Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) project as promised and didn’t believe her when she said there was no progress.

Brennan reminded her he could charge her for her actions at The Five Poppies, but she called his bluff, saying his threats were her least concern and that he was in over his head.

She angrily provided an update: “Director Ross Cullum is working with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). They are partners; he’s a double agent; he’s been fooling you and your bureau-Cullum is the enemy.”

Jack Brennan Couldn’t Believe His Ears

Jack argued she was wrong, but Britt insisted Cullum was always at The Five Poppies, which was why his investigations into Faison’s project were failing.

Jack asked if Cullum knew about Agent Jacks, and Britt said she didn’t know but assumed he didn’t, or else Josslyn would be dead. As Jack left, he reminded her he still wanted those updates.

Outside, he called an agent at a WSB office in Belgium to request Cullum’s expense reports and itineraries for the last three years.

Nathan West Gets Summoned

Nathan visited Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) office at Crimson, followed by Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). She wanted to resolve the issue with Nathan and Maxie before her medical conference in New Zealand.

Obrecht insisted that Nathan and Maxie wouldn’t be happy until they reunited, but Nathan argued that both had moved on. Obrecht was shocked to hear he was with Maxie’s best friend, and Nina defended her brother.

Obrecht was angry to learn that Nina knew about Lulu and scolded her for interfering in her son’s life, even though her own relationship with her daughter was troubled.

Nathan Set His Mother Straight

Nathan intervened, and Obrecht laughed at the thought of him and Lulu having real feelings. He reminded her that Maxie chose Spinelli and wished them well, stating he needed Obrecht to step back for him and Lulu to sort things out.

Britt arrived and felt the tension. Obrecht told her Nathan had feelings for Lulu now instead of his wife, but she agreed not to interfere.

Britt was surprised by both revelations, but Obrecht insisted she was stepping back because she wanted Nathan to be happy.

Obrecht left to get ready for her trip, and Britt followed, annoyed she hadn’t said anything about leaving in her text. Nina laughed, thinking the conversation went well, while Nathan believed it would be tougher for his mom to interfere from far away.

Nina acted clueless, but he thought someone had arranged for Obrecht to attend that conference. In the elevator, Britt was surprised that her mom was so accepting of Nathan and Lulu.

But Obrecht confidently stated they would never be together since Nathan wouldn’t want to disrupt Lulu and Maxie.

Carly Spencer & Valentin Cassadine Debrief

General Hospital recaps for Monday, March 6 imply Carly was processing that Josslyn joined the WSB to take down Sonny. Valentin worried that Joss would report them.

Carly reassured him that her daughter wouldn’t do that, but he wasn’t convinced, noting Josslyn had shown she took her job seriously when she subdued him.

Carly feared Joss would protect herself but not Valentin and urged him to leave. Although she believed Josslyn wouldn’t betray her, Valentin cautioned that she didn’t know her daughter well, as Joss had lied to her for a year.

Carly lamented that their close bond seemed lost, saying she didn’t recognize the person she spoke to tonight.

Valentin Blamed Brennan

Valentin said it was Jack’s influence, but Carly felt it was more significant, as Joss claimed to join the WSB to take down criminals like Sonny.

Valentin argued she wasn’t to blame for her daughter’s choices, but Carly felt guilty for bringing Sonny into Josslyn’s life. She cried that when she looked at Josslyn tonight, she saw her younger self, determined to ruin her mother’s life.

Carly remarked on how the WSB had changed Valentin, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), and Jack. She then told Valentin that she didn’t want the same fate for her daughter.

He reassured her that Joss would be okay, saying, “because I know her mom,” he continued. “And if she has anything like what I see in you, even the WSB can’t take her down.”

Carly urged him to escape and save himself, but he stood firm, claiming that while he might have initially used her, they had become true partners now.

“I’m not leaving you,” he proclaimed; in an unexpected moment, Carly leaned in and kissed him. She pulled back, but he drew her in again, and they started ripping each other’s clothes off as they made their way to the bedroom.
