Alexis Asked Diane’s Advice
At Miller & Davis, Alexis vented to Diane, saying she could no longer defend Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) because she had found out her client was guilty. (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)
After Alexis filled Diane in on what she had learned, Diane agreed that the new evidence presented a strong case for mitigating circumstances.
However, she cautioned her friend that if she went public, the judge would call a mistrial, and Alexis would face permanent disbarment if she mentioned any of it in her closing statement.
Understanding that Diane was correct, Alexis still hesitated about whether to reveal Willow’s guilt because she didn’t want Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) to be raised by “a would-be murderer who married her victim to hide it.”
Diane argued that exposing Willow would ensure Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) would cut Alexis out of Scout’s life, as he would never accept that his wife was guilty.

Sidwell Asked Jordan To Attend Willow’s Trial, Michael And Jacinda Arrived
Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) asked Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) to go to the trial and report on Drew’s actions, as he was starting to doubt if the congressman was the right fit for D.C.
When Sidwell mentioned that he thought someone else might be a better choice for Cain’s position, Jordan reminded him that Drew’s role was elected and he couldn’t simply choose a replacement.
She was surprised when her boss stated that he usually got what he wanted. In the meantime, accompanying Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) to the courthouse, Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) was concerned that her being there would lead to negative publicity for him. But he reassured her that he wanted her with him.

Nina Eavesdropped As Dante Questioned Brennan
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) listened in as Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) questioned Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) about whether the WSB interfered with the PCPD’s evidence. But then Ava Jerome (Maura West) showed up to support her friend. Jack Brennan pretended not to know about the missing evidence, but Dante, being a former agent, pointed out that the organization could hack systems and questioned why the WSB wanted Willow to be acquitted.
Brennan caught Nina’s eye from across the hallway, where she was talking to Ava. He informed Dante that the WSB didn’t care about Willow’s future and implied that Drew had someone eliminate the evidence.
Dante Agreed It Was Possible, And Brought Up Anna
Conceding that it was indeed a possibility, Dante quipped that the WSB had a notorious tendency to siphon off talent from the PCPD. He used as an example how Anna was unexpectedly dispatched on an assignment without any prior warning.
Vowing that he had no involvement in that particular choice, Jack expressed his desire for Anna to return home in the near future. In the meantime, Nina let out a deep sigh to Ava, lamenting that regardless of all the actions Drew had taken, Willow still wasn’t prepared to part ways with him.
Curtis Talked To Trina In The Courtroom
In the courtroom, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) informed Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) that he was present to listen to the closing arguments for business purposes.
He explained that if Willow was exonerated and attention shifted to Michael, it could negatively impact Aurora. When he asked why she was there, since neither he nor her mother was under suspicion, Trina said she was there to support Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup).
At that moment, Jordan walked in. After a brief exchange with Jordan, Trina left to find Kai, and Jordan commented to Curtis that it appeared his daughter was accepting them as a family unit.

Drew Attempted To Soothe Willow’s Anxiety As She Maintained Her Innocent Façade
As Willow maintained her innocent act, Drew attempted to soothe his wife’s anxiety by assuring her that the jury would find her not guilty.
She expressed hope that if she was acquitted, the family court judge would allow her visitation, and when Drew stated she would receive full custody once Michael was imprisoned, Willow said it would be a dream come true.
Then, Drew became upset when Suzanne (Jen Ray) arrived without Alexis, and Willow grew concerned about her attorney’s tardiness.
As the courtroom became more crowded, Kai and Trina also noticed Alexis was still absent and questioned whether she had truly believed what they had told her the night before.
Dante Told Turner That Brennan Denied Involvement In The Missing Evidence
Meanwhile, Dante informed Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) that Brennan had denied any involvement from WSB regarding their missing evidence, but he wasn’t completely convinced.
Dante also recognized that it might have been Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) who interfered with the file. Justine directed the acting commissioner to investigate the source of the leak and put a stop to it.
Drew attempted to contact Alexis by phone but told Nina and Willow that he only reached her voicemail; Willow then complained to her husband and mother about Michael arriving with Jacinda.
Drew stated that it was a clever move by Michael since the best approach when feeling guilty is to stand tall and assert your innocence.
Alexis Showed Up And Had A Slip Of The Tongue
Finally, Alexis showed up just moments before Judge Sullivan (Tim Lounibos) entered the courtroom, but she didn’t talk to Willow or Drew; Justine was the first to deliver her closing statement.
She told the jury that Willow shot Drew not out of passion but as a premeditated act of attempted murder. Then outlined all the reasons Willow had the motive, means, and opportunity to shoot the man who caused her to lose custody of her children.
Next, to the disappointment of Trina and Kai, Alexis declared her client’s innocence while suggesting that Michael was a more plausible suspect.
However, at one point, Alexis mistakenly said, “Willow had every opportunity…” before quickly correcting with “Michael” had every opportunity and reason to shoot Drew”- which left Justine looking confused.

Judge Sullivan Dismissed The Jury For Deliberation
After the closing remarks, Judge Sullivan dismissed the jury for deliberation. Curtis and Jordan felt relieved they were not on the jury as they left the courtroom.
Michael told Jacinda that since Alexis had emphasized emotions over facts, it would depend on whether the jury felt sympathy for Willow- and he hoped they recognized Willow for who she truly was.
Trina worried to Kai that Willow might escape a charge of attempted murder. And after Drew boasted to his wife that she would leave the courtroom a free woman, Alexis turned to look at Kai and Trina.
Dante Complimented Justine On Her Closing Remarks
Dante complimented Justine on her closing remarks, but the acting D.A. doubted she had made a strong case. Drew excitedly told Nina that Alexis not only defended Willow excellently but also managed to get Michael convicted-meaning his wife would regain custody of their children, just as he had promised.
When Willow expressed her gratitude to Alexis for her representation, the attorney reminded her that it wasn’t over yet, especially since juries could be unpredictable.
Still, Willow remained hopeful because Alexis had provided her with the best defense possible. “If I go free, it will all be thanks to you,” Willow said, leaving Alexis uncertain about whether she had made the right choice.
Marco Warned Britt
At GH, Marco confronted Britt about their stalled research-she blamed his father for their delays, saying Sidwell killed Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) and they needed a new lab.
Marco told her they built a high-tech lab on Spoon Island to monitor her closely. Britt argued that her being there would raise suspicion with Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), and Marco’s relationship would end if Lucas found out, and Marco warned Britt to avoid Lucas.
Britt then asked how she could travel to Spoon Island without being noticed, and Marco suggested she move to Wyndemere. Britt hesitated at the thought of disappearing from her life, but Marco reminded her they had the medicine she needed, so she should create a cover story for her absence.

Valentin Asked Carly To Take A Risk
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) asked Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to check Brennan’s hotel room for info on Sidwell to expose Jack.
She initially refused, saying getting caught would ruin their plan since Jack trusted her. Carly thought Jack would hide things at his office, but Valentin insisted Jack didn’t trust anyone and would likely hide info in his room, especially after Colette Moreau (Mercedes Lopez Renard) betrayed him.
After Valentin suggested she could keep sleeping with someone she hated, Carly agreed, though she was unhappy when he said he would watch Sidwell and Spoon Island while she was away.
Carly Got The Intel, But Then Jack And Britt Came In The Room
Carly used her key card to enter Jack’s room at the Metro Court and found an envelope hidden under a drawer in the cabinet.
She took photos of the documents inside with her phone, but when she was putting the folder back, she heard Jack and Britt arguing outside and hid in the bathroom.
When Jack entered with Britt, Carly panicked, grabbed a robe, and started undressing. She overheard Britt tell Jack that his plan for her to pass Sidwell’s data wouldn’t work.
Anna Told Pascal She Needed Phlebotomy For Her Polycythemia Vera
Back at Wyndemere, Pascal brought breakfast to Anna’s room; as usual, she went to the corner but then turned to face the butler while sitting on the couch.
When she picked up the cup of water, Anna dropped it and said there was something wrong with her hand. She explained that numbness was a sign of her rare blood cancer, which needed regular phlebotomy treatments that she had missed while being held captive.
Anna told Pascal to inform his bosses that she required treatments because she would be of no use to them if she died.

Anna Tackled Pascal!
In the Wyndemere den, Pascal updated his boss about Anna’s claim of being unwell, and Sidwell instructed him to monitor the situation for now. When Pascal returned to Anna’s room, he looked through the window and saw her unconscious on the floor. He entered the room with his gun drawn, but when he crouched beside Anna, she flipped him over.
They fought for the gun, and Anna eventually gained control of it! The scene closed with Pascal’s gun in his face via Anna’s hand!
Ava Made A Shocking Discovery
Ava made her entrance at Wyndemere, where she and Jenz engaged in some playful flirting before he led her to his study for a video call.
This was regarding a piece of artwork he was keen on acquiring. At the same time, Valentin managed to stealthily infiltrate Spoon Island and found his way into the living room of Wyndemere.
He was on a quest to locate the button that would activate the secret passageway when Ava unexpectedly spotted him. With a confident declaration that she had disposed of the trigger, Ava inquired of Valentin whether Jenz was aware that he was sheltering a fugitive.
