Anna woke up to find Liesl giving her a phlebotomy treatment and insisted on seeing another doctor. When the spy expressed disbelief that she was aiding her captors, Obrecht replied, “He insisted.”

Anna was horrified at the thought that Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) had somehow survived, and Obrecht ominously stated, “He will never let you go.” (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)

Later, Anna slept while a nurse, who was not Obrecht, left the room and informed Pascal (Marc Forget) that his prisoner was stable. When he asked about the other treatment, the nurse told him that Anna believed she was Dr. Obrecht!

As Anna Woke Up And Heard Faison’s Voice, The Real Liesl Was At GH

“Good,” he said. “That means she’s ready for the next phase;” when Anna woke up, she called for Liesl and recoiled at the sight of a cigarillo in an ashtray.

Then she froze as Faison’s voice came from a speaker: “Anna. Don’t be afraid. I’ve been watching over you.”

Meanwhile, the real Liesl arrived at the hospital, happy to see Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) back at work, and wondered when she would be in charge again.

Britt didn’t want to spoil her day by arguing, and Obrecht agreed, changing the subject to buying season tickets to support Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) as he played with his school hockey team.

Britt warned her mother about overstepping and reminded her that no one in Rocco’s family wanted them around.

Britt And Liesl Continued To Talk About Rocco

Although she knew her mother would do as she pleased, Britt expressed her desire to keep her distance. In the break room, Britt stated she had no plans to push for a relationship that Rocco didn’t want.

Obrecht reminded her daughter that she was more than just a surrogate; she had brought Rocco into the world and deserved to support him at his hockey games.

However, Britt didn’t want to cause any more trouble for Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) than she already had.

Obrecht confessed she was still hurt about Britt pretending to be dead and making her grieve, mainly because she felt Britt had to escape and wouldn’t allow her mother to be there for her.

Britt Explained When She “Died” She Thought She Was

Britt clarified that at that moment, she believed she was truly dying and was thankful it happened in her mother’s arms.

She never expected to wake up again, let alone overseas in a experimental clinic with a remedy for Huntington’s Disease.

Obrecht expressed regret for spending so much time on Faison and neglecting her children, wanting to make amends by focusing on her, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), and Rocco.

Ultimately, Britt admitted she wasn’t sure how many games she could attend, but she asked her mother to at least get her a jersey.

Emma And Gio Woke Up Together, She Talked About Missing Her Grandmother

After waking up from their first night together, Emma told Gio she had no regrets, and he agreed. Later, while having breakfast, Gio confessed he was waiting for Anna to come in at any moment.

Emma sighed, saying it didn’t seem likely and shared how much she missed her grandmother. She understood Anna was out making a difference, but wished she could be home.

Gio comforted Emma, saying Anna would be back soon and mentioned that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) wanted to invite her and Anna for dinner.

She inquired about living with his grandfather, and he replied it was fine, but he felt he should eventually find his own place.

Gio And Emma Talked Future Plans

Gio talked about possibly returning to PCU, but worried he might lose his scholarship. He admitted he wasn’t ready to dive back into music yet and confessed he was uncertain about his future.

Emma shared that she realized she couldn’t major in animal activism, so she chose to pursue veterinary medicine instead.

Gio couldn’t picture himself doing anything but music, but she encouraged him to take some classes to find a new interest. “You’re hard to say no to,” he smiled.

Trina And Kai Confronted Alexis

Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) confronted Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) about defending Willow, who attempted murder.

Alexis acknowledged their evidence but said her role as a defense attorney was to prove her client innocent. Trina questioned how she could defend someone guilty, and Alexis admitted it sometimes happens, but she couldn’t change it.

She suggested that if they had come forward earlier about the shooting, she could have helped them avoid trouble. Kai and Trina said they could share what they knew if Michael was on trial, but Alexis advised them to wait for the jury’s verdict in Willow’s case.

Chase And Dante Talked About The Case

Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) ran into Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) outside Bobbie’s and told him he spoke to Internal Affairs that morning.

Dante was happy, but Chase emphasized he never crossed the line and would never destroy evidence. Dante said he still needed to investigate and find out how far Chase would go to protect Willow, just as he had to consider how far he’d go to protect his brother, Michael.

Dante mentioned he was reviewing the case to see if anything was missed that could implicate Michael. Chase appreciated this and urged Dante to continue, even if Willow is found guilty, as proving Michael did it was the only way to save her.

Nina Dropped By Drew’s House Looking For Willow

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) visited Drew and Willow to take Willow out and distract her from the trial, but Drew said she wasn’t home.

Nina speculated if Willow wanted to avoid him and appreciated their talk. She thanked him for helping her daughter during the trial.

Then she asked him to step back if Willow wasn’t acquitted, wanting her own lawyers for the appeal. Drew was shocked she hoped for her daughter’s conviction to swoop in and save her.

Nina Tore Into Drew

Nina erupted at Drew for sabotaging Alexis’s strategy by compelling her to put him on the witness stand; “You appeared completely unhinged,” she shouted.

“The only positive outcome was that everyone could see why so many people would want to shoot you twice in the back!”

Drew maintained that he was the sole person Willow could rely on and reminded her that he was the one who brought Alexis into the fold.

Nina countered by pointing out that during her closing statement, the attorney declared Willow guilty, to which Drew claimed it was merely a verbal slip.

However, Nina was adamant that she wouldn’t allow her daughter to face 20 years in prison simply because she had the bad luck of getting involved with him.

Willow Met Michael At The Bad Jen Café

Willow walked into the Bad Jen Cafe to meet Michael and felt a bitter thought about whether he was going to try to have her arrested again.

Michael asked her to take a seat and said he wanted them to put their problems aside to concentrate on the kids, particularly to talk about what would happen to them if she was found guilty.

He shared that he had a troubled childhood and didn’t want that for his own children.

Willow agreed that protecting them was important, and Michael promised he would ensure that Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko) could visit her in prison as often as possible.

Michael Suggested He And Willow Tell The Kids Together About Her Situation

He suggested they tell the kids together about her situation, and Willow realized he was only going to allow her to see the kids if she went to prison.

She thought about what would happen to this plan if she was not found guilty. She wanted to ensure that he would still allow her to see the kids if she didn’t end up in prison, but Michael was against the kids being around Drew.

Willow hoped they could put their anger aside and prioritize their children, but then her phone rang, and she found out that the jury had made a decision.

Willow Was Found Not Guilty

When Dante walked into the courtroom, Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) told him to find out how the traffic cam footage went missing before they thought about bringing back Detective Chase.

Kai and Trina wished they could tell Michael what they knew, but Kai chose to talk to him and said he didn’t think Drew was right about him on the stand.

Just then, Drew walked in and saw the two men shaking hands-Chase thanked Alexis for helping Willow, knowing she wasn’t guilty of what she was accused of.

After Nina got there, Drew became worried that Willow hadn’t arrived yet, but she soon came in and apologized for being late as the judge entered and called the jury.

After the verdict was read, the judge asked Willow to stand as the foreperson said: “We, the jury, find Willow Tait not guilty.”
