Nathan And Lulu Regretted Their Kiss
After briefly pulling away from kissing Nathan, Lulu returned for another kiss but then pushed him back, stating that they weren’t thinking straight due to the alcohol and being stuck in the storm.
Feeling hurt, Nathan expressed that he had wanted to kiss her for some time, as Lulu had helped him adjust to his new life, making his days feel less empty.
When he pleaded for her to respond, Lulu hesitantly confessed that she had feelings for him as well, but they couldn’t pursue them because of Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).
Nathan argued that Maxie had moved on and built a life with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and the kids, and while he would always care for Maxie, he didn’t want her to grieve for him indefinitely. He wanted to move forward too, rather than dwell on the past.

Lulu Understood, But She Knew Maxie Would Be Devastated
Even though Lulu grasped his perspective, she expressed that Maxie would be devastated if she ever discovered that they had shared a kiss.
They both came to the realization that pursuing any feelings they might have would ultimately cause pain to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and their children as well.
Later on, when they approached the door to assess the situation outside, Nathan looked at Lulu with a sense of longing. Perhaps he was not as certain as she was about the decision to let this matter rest.

Britt Told Jason The Truth
Britt admitted she was afraid to tell Jason the full truth because she worried about what her employers might do to him.
When Jason inquired about Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) associates, she revealed that one was Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), who had instructed her to break up with him.
She added that the only reason she was still alive was that he and Sidwell needed her to finish her father’s last project.
Jason was shocked when Britt disclosed that Cullum was a WSB agent, which explained how Sidwell always seemed to be ahead of the game.
Britt went on to say that after Cullum met with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) twice under the guise of asking about the break-in at Henry Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) lab, he threatened to send Rocco to Steinmauer if she didn’t comply.

Britt Further Explained She Felt Trapped
Feeling trapped, she decided to distance herself from everyone-then, Britt recounted how everything that happened before her departure was genuine, and she believed she was dying in her mother’s arms.
However, she later woke up at The Five Poppies to find Cullum, who told her they had staged her death. In return for her work on cold fusion, they provided her with medication to manage her Huntington’s disease.
By the time she understood their intentions were not selfless, it was too late for her to leave, and the medication was how they controlled her. Jason asked if she could obtain the medication from another source.
Britt Explained The Huntington’s Medicine
Britt shared that her father had created it for his own use, but by the time the drug was ready for testing, he was already too far gone.
When Jason proposed to recreate the formula, she refused because it was too dangerous and her bosses were ruthless:
Sidwell had killed Henry Dalton right in front of her. Jason pleaded with Britt to allow him to help her escape, assuring her that he would keep her, Rocco, and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) safe.
She was concerned that they might not succeed, but eventually agreed on the condition that they would maintain their distance once they returned to town, as she didn’t want to endanger Jason.
Deciding to make the most of the night if that was all they had, Jason kissed Britt, and they went to the bed.

Rocco Walked In On Charlotte And Danny In The Gatehouse
After seeing Charlotte Cassadine’s (Bluesy Burke) scarf and shoes by the fire in the main house, Rocco went to the gatehouse, where he and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) often hang out.
Charlotte and Danny said they said they tried to get to Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) to visit Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) but had to stay in the gatehouse because of the bad storm.
Rocco felt hurt they didn’t tell him their plans; Charlotte apologized for not including him, telling her brother that lying to their mom didn’t bother her like it did him.
She didn’t want him to keep secrets from Lulu-Rocco forgave them and asked that they share everything from now on.
As the three teens made more S’mores, Danny and Charlotte smiled at each other, keeping their kiss a secret from Rocco.
Carly Offered To Let Valentin Stay In The Guest Room But Then Jack Showed Up
Carly offered Valentin a place to sleep in her guest room instead of the attic, given that they were snowed in and she wasn’t expecting any visitors.
He expressed gratitude for her willingness to host him despite their past tensions, especially since Lulu was her cousin, and she made a light-hearted comment about tolerating him.
Carly clarified that she wasn’t excusing all his past actions, stating she could distinguish between Valentin the Man and Valentin the Father.
Acknowledging his desire to improve for Charlotte, Valentin mentioned that if everything went according to plan, Carly’s daughter would be safe, and he would reunite with his own.
Just as he inquired if it would trouble her if Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) ended up at Steinmauer, the doorbell rang.

Jack Told Carly He Was Checking On Her As Valentin Rushed Upstairs
Valentin hurried upstairs while Carly went to see Jack waiting on the porch; inside, Jack said he braved the blizzard to check on Carly and Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears), wanting to be helpful.
To cover her earlier lie about needing to relieve the sitter, Carly claimed she mixed up the dates and her daughter was actually with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
When Jack asked about the two glasses of liquor on the table, she made up another story, saying Jason was supposed to come by but she texted him not to after hearing about the bad roads.
She handed Jack the glass Valentin had used, toasted to a cozy evening, and sighed heavily as they hugged.
Jack’s Phone Rang, Carly Steeled Herself
As they were kissing on the couch, Jack’s phone started to ring. Jack stepped into the other room to answer the call, leaving Carly to exhale deeply and start pacing in her foyer.
After taking a moment to look at herself in the mirror and gather her courage, she returned to the living room just as Jack finished his call.
When he inquired if everything was alright, she proclaimed that everything was ‘perfect,’ and they proceeded to make love in front of the fireplace. Meanwhile, in the attic, Valentin gazed out the window, tears welling in his eyes.

Cody Was Offended To Find Himself In Molly’s Book
Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) descended the stairs just as Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) was engrossed in her manuscript.
When she reminded him that she never actually agreed to let him read it, Cody retorted that she hadn’t explicitly said no either, but had instead diverted his attention with intimacy.
He felt hurt by the parallels between himself and her protagonist, “Casey,” a foolish character who worked in the stables.
Cody confronted her for not being upset about the invasion of her privacy, but rather that he now understood her true feelings about him.
When Molly scoffed that her novel was not meant for anyone else’s eyes, Cody insisted that he wanted to read it because he was proud of her and wanted to honor her achievement.

Molly Tried To Explain, Cody Wasn’t Listening
Recognizing that Cody had influenced certain aspects of Casey, Molly explained that she had begun writing the book during a tumultuous time in their relationship.
And, if he had read beyond just a few chapters, he would have noticed that Casey evolved as he fell for the heroine, Maddie.
However, despite Molly’s attempts to highlight Casey’s positive traits, all Cody could perceive was that the character was a mockery.
“And evidently, so am I,” he lamented. When Molly was taken aback by how deeply Cody was affected, he sighed and admitted that her view of him was significant because he cared for her.
Cody Kept Complaining
The things she expressed about Casey reflected the worst thoughts he had about himself-not only did she share those thoughts, but she also made them public for others to see.
Although Molly insisted that this wasn’t her true perception of him, she explained that writing had been her sole refuge during the painful period following her miscarriage and her breakup with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow). H
owever, that solace was shattered now, knowing that her words had caused him pain. Believing that he would always be seen as a fool in Molly’s eyes, Cody requested some distance.
He told her to take the bed while he chose to sleep on the floor next to the horses for the remainder of the night.
Portia Was Snowed In With Her Daughter
Due to the storm, Portia ended up spending the night at Trina’s place. When she accidentally stubbed her toe on the kitchen step, they both laughed at the thought of Portia sticking her foot out the window into the snow since they lacked an icepack. She playfully apologized for interrupting Trina’s annoyance with her.
Trina clarified that she wasn’t angry, just exhausted. She to attempted to head to her bedroom, but Portia pleaded with her to stay and chat.

Portia Was Rebuffed By Trina
Trina admitted that she didn’t believe she could ever forgive Portia for what she had done to their family. She expressed her frustration that the baby would enter the world surrounded by lies, just as she had.
She added that she was still hurting from being deceived her whole life, stating that while she loved her mother, she was unsure how they could maintain a relationship without trust.
Portia wept, expressing her desire for Trina not to let her feelings impact her bond with her new sibling, even though she understood that Trina wouldn’t hold an innocent child accountable for her errors.
Later, after her mother returned to bed, Trina found herself crying in the living room.
Josslyn Remained At Wyndemere With “Matthew”
At Wyndemere, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cullum played chess to pass the time. He remarked that she wasn’t who she seemed: ditzy college girls didn’t beat him at chess.
After Josslyn shared more details about her past, like how she was pre-med before switching to environmental science, Cullum found her intriguing and wondered what other secrets she had.
While the WSB director continued his act as ‘Matthew the caretaker’ to inspect the house for storm damage, Joss snooped through his coat and discovered a box of cigarillos.
She also found a paperback of P.K. Sinclair’s The Crystalline Conspiracy, which was actually authored by Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).

Joss Made The Connection To Anna
Flipping the book open to a random page, Josslyn saw the name ‘Davnee,’ and when she looked at the cover again, she recognized the woman depicted; ‘Anna,’ she whispered.
When Cullum returned and caught her, Josslyn said she had taken his jacket because she was cold again, and that’s when the book and cigarillos fell out.
Noticing that the woman on the cover resembled the town’s former police commissioner, Cullum replied that he had never heard of Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), so it must be a coincidence.
Then, Josslyn asked if she could borrow the book and settled by the fire to read it while Cullum watched her from across the dim living room.
