Today On General Hospital – Laura Updated Kevin

After Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) threatened Ace Cassadine (Kieran and Karis Barry), Laura encouraged Kevin to take the teaching job in Dublin and bring their toddler to Ireland. (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)

Kevin thought Laura would join him, but she insisted on staying in Port Charles to protect Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and their family while figuring out how to escape Sidwell’s control.

Kevin refused to leave Laura. But she eventually persuaded him that the best way to help was to keep their grandson safe by going abroad.

Curtis Threw His Weight Around

At the hospital for an appointment, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) was shocked to find out that Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) medical license had been restored.

Also, that Dr. Westbourne would be taking over her case from Dr. Frida Navarro (Christina Ferraro). When Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) arrived for the appointment, he expressed concerns about Britt’s involvement and requested a private conversation with Portia.

Portia assured Curtis that Britt was a great doctor, and he asked her to proceed with the paternity test since she was now in her second trimester.

Portia expressed that discovering the father’s identity would be stressful and could negatively affect the baby, so she wanted more time before the test.

Elizabeth Popped In To Check Up On Portia

After Portia got a good report from Britt, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) came into the exam room to see her friend.

Portia shared that although she had told Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) she hoped he was the father, she was now wishing for Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) sake that the child was Curtis’.

Meanwhile, Curtis found Britt at the hub and told her he wanted to arrange a paternity test as soon as possible-hearing their conversation, Isaiah interrupted to say it wasn’t going to happen.

Britt left in the elevator after informing both men that any decision needed to come from Portia. Isaiah and Curtis kept arguing, with Curtis finally stating that if the baby turned out to be his, the child would not be part of Isaiah and Portia’s relationship.

Kristina Offered To Pay Jacinda To Leave Town

Outside Bobbie’s, Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) met with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi), who pleaded with her to leave town before she had to testify in court.

With that, Kristina gave her a backpack filled with enough cash to start fresh somewhere else. Unable to provide details, Kristina warned that things would not go well for Jacinda or Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), and Jacinda realized that Kristina knew what she knew because her mom was Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen)  attorney.

Taking the backpack, Jacinda asked Kristina to inform Michael why she left, and Kristina agreed to tell her brother what she could before leaving.

Touching her new bracelet, Jacinda remembered when Michael gave her the jewelry as a gift, then walked away from the restaurant.

Emma Interrupted Carly And Jack At Bobbie’s

While having lunch with Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna), Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) questioned him about Valentin’s  case.

The WSB agent expressed his growing doubts about whether the fugitive was in Port Charles-acting unaware of Valentin’s situation, Carly inquired if that meant Jack was safe from him.

Brennan assured her that he believed Valentin was scheming for revenge and might be enlisting others to assist him.

Their conversation was interrupted by a worried Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruener), who expressed concern over not having contacted her grandmother for a long time.

She’d only gotten a brief voicemail from a blocked number and a photo sent by Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) on Christmas.

Jack Reassured Emma He Would Try To Track Down Anna, Then Britt Came In After Carly And Emma Left

Jack reassured Emma that he had not been informed about Anna’s mission but would attempt to locate her, asking Emma to send him the photo so he could extract metadata from it.

After Emma departed, Carly speculated that Anna might be aiding Valentin, but Jack dismissed the idea, believing Anna was too clever to betray them.

Once Carly left, Jack made a phone call, requesting the other person to track down Anna using the picture. He ended the call when Britt walked into the diner; although she tried to evade him, he insisted she take a seat.

He reminded Britt that he had upheld his end of their agreement by getting her medical license reinstated and warned her that he expected her to find a way to obtain the research from Sidwell’s lab.

Danny Took Charlotte To Closer To Carly’s House So She Could See Valentin

At the Quartermaine stables, Charlotte informed Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) about her Christmas Eve visit with her father, who had been staying at Carly’s house.

She explained to Danny that she had her police escort take her to the Quartermaine mansion to see him, planning to then take Hades through the woods to Carly’s and visit her dad again. Knowing that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) would be upset if Charlotte took Hades, Danny instead rode her through the woods on his motorbike.

In Carly’s attic, Valentin was packing up the Christmas tree and remembered his secret meeting with Charlotte. He quickly hid behind the bookcase when he heard footsteps outside and was shocked to see Charlotte open the door.

Valentin Was Surprised To See His Daughter, Warned Her She Took A Risk

While he was thrilled to see his daughter again, he was also angry that she put her safety-and his-at risk, and he asked Charlotte to wait for his next signal.

This would be a key with a red ribbon, once he had achieved his goal so they could be together for good. Before she left, Charlotte told Valentin about her meeting with Mr. Sidwell. Concerned, Valentin warned his daughter to stay away from the dangerous man and made her promise not to visit again.

Danny Took Charlotte Back To The Stable

After Danny and Charlotte got back to the stables, she opened up about feeling down because her dad didn’t want her to come back.

She mentioned that he was not only worried about the police finding him but also about Mr. Sidwell. Danny then revealed that Sidwell had attempted to kill his dad in Africa and offered to assist Charlotte with whatever she needed to do next for her father.

Meanwhile, Carly came home to see Valentin packing a duffel bag, getting ready to leave. He explained that he had to leave now.

Willow’s Trial Reconvened

The trial of Willow recommenced at the courthouse, with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) present to lend her support to Michael, who was set to take the stand.

Meanwhile, at the defense table, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) attempted to soothe a visibly anxious Willow, and then criticized Alexis for mishandling Portia’s testimony prior to the break. He hoped  that her time spent with Scout  Cain (Cosette Abinante) during the holidays would serve as a reminder of the gravity of the situation.

In response, Alexis told both of them that she would make an effort to persuade the jury that it should be Michael facing the trial instead.

Dante Was Called To The Stand

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) was the first witness for Alexis and was asked about the PCPD’s investigation into Michael.

Alexis pointed out that Michael’s alibi was as weak as Willow’s and questioned if Dante didn’t investigate further because they were brothers.

Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) objected, but the judge  allowed it when Alexis said she was looking into a third-party suspect.

Justine then mentioned Michael’s 2009 arrest and how Dante helped him during that trial  and  had Dante confirm that Anna was the commissioner when Willow was arrested.

She went back to when Michael killed Claudia Zacchara (Sarah Brown) and confirmed Dante asked the judge to lessen Michael’s sentence to a more appropriate punishment.

Ezra Boyle Testified

Next to testify was Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove); as he was sworn in, Drew warned Alexis that there would be consequences if Boyle’s testimony backfired.

Alexis told Drew to sit down, saying it wasn’t his concern, and asked Ezra if he was at the Brown Dog Bar on election night.

Justine interrupted, claiming the question violated discovery, but the judge overruled, stating it was the prosecutor’s fault for not interviewing defense witnesses.

Alexis then asked Ezra about his conversation with Det. Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) at the bar, where he mentioned being with an escort.

Ezra Confirmed He Was With Jacinda

Ezra confirmed he was at a shady hotel with Jacinda Bracken when Drew Cain was shot, destroying Michael’s alibi! During cross-examination, Justine asked Ezra for evidence he was with Jacinda that night, but he had none.

When the judge called for a recess, Drew smirked, thinking Michael was in trouble, and Alexis warned him to hide his smugness from the jury.

Willow was happy that Chase helped her, and Michael told Josslyn he didn’t know Jacinda was with Ezra that night. He said he needed to find her.

Jacinda Returned To The Courtroom

In the hallway, Michael was calling Jacinda when she came up and told him to get the kids and leave town before they could testify.

Michael said the jury just heard that they weren’t together the night Drew was shot, but before he could explain, the bailiff told Jacinda it was her turn to testify. Under oath, Jacinda said she had partied with Drew in April and connected with Michael at the Port Charles Grill on September 2, the night of the shooting.

Then, Alexis asked Jacinda if she was with Michael when Drew Cain was shot, and she froze.
