‘General Hospital’ Recap July 6: Britt’s Miracle, Cassius’ Secret Survival, Carly’s Passion & Joss Pays the Price

General Hospital recaps for Monday, July 6 reveal Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) thanked Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) as Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) rejected him.

Plus, at Turning Woods, S. Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) told Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) the “official” story Nathan Reeves/Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) died, while Z (John Oliver) recruited Cassius for the WSB!

Danny And Rocco Argued At Lulu’s House

Danny wanted Rocco to admit he was the one who shot Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) so that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) could be released.

When Rocco refused to betray the promise he made to his parents and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) to remain quiet, Danny called him a coward, leading to a heated fight.

Inside the house, Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) confessed to Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) had been hiding in Port Charles all this time and that she had been in contact with her father.

Lulu suspected there was more to the story than Charlotte was revealing, but their discussion was interrupted by the shouting between Danny and Rocco outside.

Rocco Thanked Dante As Danny Rejected Him

When Lulu told the boys to stop fighting, Danny lashed out at her, angry that she had helped Rocco keep secrets, and he stormed away.

Lulu questioned how Danny even knew the truth, which led Charlotte to admit that she had informed him-Charlotte justified her actions, claiming Danny had a right to know, but Rocco felt betrayed by his sister.

Then, Lulu received a message from Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) saying he was in the hospital.

She sent Dante to stay with Rocco and took Charlotte with her to G.H. to continue their talk.

Realizing that everything Dante and Lulu did was out of love for him, Rocco thanked his father for bending the rules to protect him-they reconciled and shared a heartfelt hug.

Jack Wanted To Go Back To Work, S. Vaughn Told Nina That “Nathan” Died

With Cullum gone, Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) wanted to get back to work.

Nina urged him to stay at Turning Woods and focus on his recovery- she needed him well to gather evidence against Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) that would assist Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen).

Just as Jack was about to share some unfortunate news with Nina, Agent S. Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) arrived to inform Chief Brennan that the WSB required a complete debrief regarding his stroke and the events involving Director Cullum.

Vaughn also delivered the heartbreaking news to Nina that the man she knew as “Nathan West” had died.

Then Danny appeared, claiming he knew who actually shot Cullum!

Joss Apologized To Lucas

From her hospital bed, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) expressed her apologies to Lucas Jones (Van Hansis).

She  admitted she had manipulated him into moving to Wyndemere to gain access to Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Cullum.

Although hurt and seeing his niece differently, Lucas accepted her apology, even acknowledging that he would have moved in with Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) regardless.

When Josslyn then requested a favor, Lucas hesitated, saying he would always question whether he was speaking to his niece or Agent Jacks.

Vaughn Paid Josslyn A Surprise Visit

Later, Vaughn visited Josslyn’s room to bid her farewell before departing Port Charles.

They both agreed that Brennan had done them a favor by sending Vaughn away, as they had grown too close.

Josslyn remarked that despite her past lies and manipulation, she would repeat those actions because being an agent required doing whatever it takes to complete a mission.

“Wow,” Vaughn smiled, noticing the transformation in Jacks since their last encounter. “Look at the rookie who’s no longer a rookie.”

Britt Tried To Talk Dante Into Releasing Her From Custody

Britt attempted to persuade Dante to allow her to escape for Rocco’s benefit, but he firmly declined, retorting that the only person Britt truly cared about was herself.

The next visitor for the prisoner was Lucas, who brought a message from Josslyn stating that Britt had never suffered from Huntington’s disease.

He further mentioned that the PCPD had verified that her experimental treatment was merely saline solution.

Overwhelmed by the realization that Cullum had manipulated her for years, Britt broke down and ordered Lucas to leave.

Nina Brought Bad News To Britt And Obrecht

Later, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) returned to the jail after Lucas had called her to check on Britt.

Britt confided in her mother that she was not dying and, in tears, recounted how she had unnecessarily destroyed her life over a condition she never had.

Liesl, however, was overjoyed by this revelation.

She then  proclaimed that she and Cassius, who had heroically intervened to stop Cullum, would find a way to liberate Britt so they could all reunite.

Just then, Nina arrived and informed her aunt and cousin that Cassius was dead, which was the “official” story, told to Josslyn too.

Sonny And Ava Visited Ethan, Ava Consoled Lucas

At GH, Sonny was visiting Ethan when Ava Jerome (Maura West) arrived-she asked why Sonny hadn’t killed Sidwell.

Sonny explained how he caught Sidwell and that Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) could now take him to court, then joked that Ava should thank him by giving Ethan a monetary bonus for saving her life.

Then, getting serious, Sonny said he would have come even if Sidwell hadn’t taken Justine hostage because Ava is Avery Jerome-Corinthos’s (Ava and Grace Scarola) mother.

After Sonny left, Ava offered to pay Ethan, but he said they were even since she was keeping his secret about not being Phoebe Wilson’s (Luna and Lucia Creighton) father.

On her way to get Ethan ice, Ava saw a sad Lucas in the hallway-he told his aunt that Marco died for nothing because Britt never had Huntington’s.

Carly Confronted Z, Z Recruited An Alive Cassius

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) confronted Z and insisted he fire Josslyn-when Z refused and made a sarcastic remark, Carly slapped him.

Seeing Carly’s boldness similar to Josslyn’s, Z asked her out-shocked by his advances, Carly vowed to get Josslyn out of the WSB at any cost and slapped him!

Later, Z went to see Cassius, who was alive and handcuffed to a bed in a makeshift hospital room.

Z told Cassius he was facing several charges, including threats to national security and nuclear conspiracy; Cassius claimed Cullum was lying.

But Z disclosed that Josslyn had given a sworn statement blaming Cassius, then Z warned that Cassius could face the death penalty unless he agreed to work for him.

Sonny, Charlotte And Lulu Saw Valentin And Carly Kissing Outside The Hospital

Carly bumped into Sonny in the GH parking lot and informed him that Josslyn was a WSB agent, motivated to join the bureau due to the poor decisions they had made in their relationship.

Sonny offered to assist in getting Josslyn released, but Carly sighed, stating that the WSB was not allowing her to leave.

At that moment, Lulu and Charlotte arrived in the parking lot- Lulu scolded her daughter for listening in on her talk with Laura Collins (Genie Francis)  and sharing it with Danny.

Charlotte shot back, asking if Lulu ever intended to tell her that Rocco shot Cullum, as she had been dealing with all the secrets and tension at home.

Then, a black SUV arrived in front of the hospital, and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) emerged; Carly rushed to him, and they started kissing passionately- right in front of Sonny, Lulu, and Charlotte!
