‘General Hospital’ Recap June 9: Willow Puts Drew First & Lucky Leaves

Did you check yourself into General Hospital today Monday, June 9, 2025? If not, you’re in luck, because here is a fresh recap for you.

There is no shame in realizing that you want different things out of life, and unfortunately, that is the case for Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson).

fter she turned down his marriage proposal, Lucky felt like it was best for him to leave Port Charles sooner rather than later. (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)

The love is still there, so they are both in pain, even though they realize that their lifestyles no longer mesh.

Liz needs the comfort of stability, and Lucky needs to travel and find some adventures along the way. They share their goodbyes and then Liz finds Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) to cry to.

A few days ago Liz had talked to Lucas about the situation with Lucky, and wondered if loving at this stage in life meant letting each other go.

She tells him that she turned down Lucky’s proposal and now he is leaving. Liz realizes that she is no longer the girl willing to follow him anywhere, anymore.

Meanwhile, Lucky visits Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) to tell her that he is leaving. Lucky explains to his sister that he and Liz want different things and it’s just too painful to stick around.

He is going to spend the summer traveling with their son, Aiden, and then figure things out after that. While they talk, Lulu tells him about the whole mess with Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), and how she hopes things eventually get better for everyone.

The Metro Court Pool is a Hotspot Again

Ava Jerome (Maura West) bumps into Marco Rios (Adrian Archando) at the Metro Court pool and they bond. She softens towards him once he tells her that he is Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) son.

Marco mentions that his father is trying to get a Van Gogh into the states and Ava volunteers to help him out. She also realizes that he is dating Lucas, which makes their conversation even better.

Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is also at the pool, and he grabs Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) for a second to pitch her an idea.

Unfortunately, she shoots down his love Metro Court idea and he takes a seat in the chaise that Ava had been sitting in. She circles back and wants her chair, so Cody offers to buy her an iced tea as an apology.

Kristina Corinthos (Kate Mansi) is back at the pool to try and exercise some personal demons. The last time that she was there she fell out of Ava’s window, killing the baby that she had been carrying.

Gio is nearby and sees Kristina looking ready to panic, so he checks to see if he can be of any help. Kristina tells him that it is her first time at the pool since her accident, and maybe she isn’t ready to face it yet.

Gio tells her that he is nearby if she needs him. She then locks in on Ava and storms up to her looking for a fight. Ava simply tells her to be grateful for her freedom and leaves. Cody sees the whole interaction, and Kristina asks him if he wants to make some money.

Nearby, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and Gio take baby steps towards being brothers. They both have always wanted a brother and Gio says that being related to Rocco is the best thing to come out of all the pain and drama.

Brook Lynn Has Plans For Lulu

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is spending some time at the boathouse when her husband, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) catches up with her.

She is furious with both Lulu and her mom, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer). Chase admits that Lois texted him, and he told her that he refuses to be the go-between.

He then suggested that Lois give Brook Lynn some space. After Chase leaves, Marco appears. Brook Lynn has hired him because he is new to Port Charles and isn’t really tied to anyone yet. She then asks what he knows about Lulu Spencer.

Drew Uses Wylie To Manipulate Willow And She Falls For It

Kristina has Wylie and Amelia at General Hospital to visit Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) and her new baby, Daisy.

She asks Lucas to watch Wylie just for a minute and after he greets Wylie, he moves over to the nurses station.

Around the corner is Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) talking to Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) about Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) case.

He sees Wylie seated and purposely starts saying that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) doesn’t want his old kids now that he has a new baby.

Drew doesn’t want Michael and Willow to be civil, which puzzles Ric. He then sees Wylie seated and doubles back to tell Drew that it’s lousy to use a child like that.

Meanwhile, Michael is in a different hallway calling Willow. He suggests that they talk before going back into the courtroom, leaving her hopeful that they will work things out amicably.

She is already at the courthouse with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and they are both hopeful that this will be a turning point.

Willow also thanks Nina for putting her first and making sure that Sasha’s paternity came out. She knows that Nina also loves Sasha and betraying her was tough to do.

Michael gets to Wylie and Wylie asks him if he doesn’t care about him and Amelia any more. After reassuring him that it’s not true, Michael gets to the bottom of where this came from.

He is furious that “Uncle Drew” said this in front of Wylie and realizes that things with Willow can’t be amicable as long as he is involved.

Michael arrives at the courthouse and tells Willow exactly what their son told him. Willow refuses to believe that Drew said it, instead believing Wylie misunderstood, or Michael’s family are lying about it.

Michael tells her to remember this moment because it is when she could have ended things amicably and failed to put her kids first.

Once inside the courtroom, Willow is put on the stand. She testifies that she now believes that Michael doesn’t care about their children, because he refused to see her when she flew to Germany.

Michael writes Diane Miller (Carolyn Henessey) a note saying that never happened. She then approaches Willow asking her what is more important, her children, or Drew Cain.
