‘General Hospital’ Recap March 26: Sonny Tells Laura About His Heart & Kristina’s Deadly Decision

So much is happening in Port Charles these days. If you missed today’s episode of General Hospital here’s a recap!

Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) and Brook Lynn quartermaine (Amanda Setton) are having it out in Deception’s office.

Lulu is upset because Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) didn’t share everything with her and now she has to face that he had secrets of his own, one being that he slept with BLQ.

Lulu says that she is actually angry because she has to keep the secret of Brook Lynn getting pregnant and giving Dante’s child up for adoption. (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)

Brook Lynn accuses Lulu of wanting to hurt her more than she actually cares about Dante knowing the truth and then their fight was interrupted by Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and Emma Drake (Braedyn Bruner).

Lulu storms out as Gio and Emma approach BLQ with their idea on how to save to Quartermaine mausoleum but it seems to fall on deaf ears. She agrees to talk to her father about it, but thinks that it is best for them to stay out of the family in-fighting.

Lulu Vents To Cody

Lulu leaves Brook Lynn in a huff and heads to the Quartermaines to visit her son but before she sees him she goes to the stables to get out some anger.

Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) finds her beating up a stuffed animal with a baseball bat, and then listens as she vents about everything.

Cody went to summer camp with BLQ and Dante and is able to give perspective as to why Dante kept things from Lulu. The two bond a little more and it’s clear that a real friendship may be forming between them.

Tea For Three With Tracy

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is having tea with Tracy Quartermaine) and Stella Henry (Vernee Johnson) in the Quartermaines solarium, discussing his coverage of the pediatric sports initiative. Tracy praises him for referring to the Congressman as Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and on cue Drew

They are in the solarium when Drew arrives and lambastes Curtis for teaming up with Tracy, even though he hasn’t actually done so, yet.

Congressman Boyle Tries To Intimidate Laura Over Her Friendship With Sonny

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is sharing a meal with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and discussing how Congressman Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) showed up to support Drew Quartermaine about the pediatric sports initiative.

Ezra then strolls in and takes the opportunity to try and speak with the ladies about the Esplanade. He then takes aim at Laura’s friendship with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard), making insinuations about her character that she doesn’t take lightly.

Laura informs Boyle that she is always honest in her business dealings, and releases her tax records each year, unlike him.

The mayor then excuses herself and Jordan takes over the conversation, suggesting that the Congressman not try to make the mayors office look bad in any way.

Drew arrives for a drink and aggressively grabs Boyle for a talk. He insists that the Quartermaine crypt situation is being ignored and he insists that a bulldozer is onsite to knock it down by tomorrow.

Sonny’s Heart Condition Is Worsening

Sonny is on the floor having symptoms of a heart emergency and instead of Ava Jerome (Maura West) giving him his pills, she gives him a lecture about how hard it is to be in pain while people watch but don’t help.

Kristina Corinthos (Kate Mansi) runs in and asks Ava why she didn’t give Sonny his pills. She gives them to her father and calls Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) after demanding that Ava leave.

Gannon arrives and stabilizes Sonny. He thinks that putting off his heart procedure is a very bad idea and wants to get him scheduled now.

Sonny gets him to wait but agrees that it can’t be put off for very long. As Gannon leaves, Laura arrives unexpectedly. Sonny tells her about his heart condition and how scared he is. She pledges her support and agrees to keep it a secret.

Meanwhile Ava gets Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) to meet up with her. She tells him about Sonny collapsing at her feet and they contemplate what sort of health issue he has.

Kristina Visits Baby Irene’s Grave

Kristina leaves her father’s house and goes to Irene’s grave. She tells her about what just happened at Sonny’s house and how Ava just stood there and didn’t help him.

She was waiting for him to die and that thought is just too much for her to handle. Kristina tells Irene that she knows that she has to get rid of Ava once and for all.
