Obrecht Lashed out At Joss

At the Metro Court Gardens, Obrecht felt insulted when Josslyn implied that “Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey) could be mimicking or impersonating Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).

Josslyn inquired whether Obrecht had spoken to her son about the details surrounding his miraculous return.

She noted that she believed Nathan’s reappearance, the items linked to Faison that she discovered at Wyndemere, and Anna’s emotional collapse might all be related.

Obrecht warned Joss that it was perilous for her to continue probing such matters and that she could end up like Anna if she wasn’t cautious.

“You wouldn’t want to end up like Anna, would you?” she asked; Josslyn insisted she would let it go, but it was evident she had no intention of doing so.

Lucy Walked In On Ethan And Sonny

Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) visited Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) office and expressed his astonishment upon discovering that Sonny had sold two of his piers.

Although Sonny didn’t disclose the reason behind the sale, he mentioned that if Ethan’s new job went well, there would be no secrets between them.

Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) then arrived, sharing a heartfelt reunion with Ethan. She informed Sonny that she was prepared to make her move on Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) before Ava Jerome (Maura West) could interfere.

Sonny advised Lucy to reach out to him if things became perilous, to which she assured him that she could take care of herself.

Sonny Tasked Ethan With Safeguarding Lucy From Sidwell

After Lucy left, Sonny assigned Ethan the task of keeping Lucy safe from Sidwell. Ethan wondered why Sonny didn’t just get rid of Sidwell, and Sonny was taken aback to learn that Ethan would consider taking him out.

Ethan explained that his desire to eliminate Sidwell was personal, as Sidwell had attempted to kill his mother, Holly Sutton (Emma Samms).

“The world would be a much better place without Jenz Sidwell in it,” he declared; since Sonny had sold his piers to Sidwell, Ethan suspected that Jenz had some control over him.

Sonny admired Ethan’s understanding of the situation and noted he had reasons for not wanting Sidwell dead-at least for now; Ethan replied that if that changed, he would happily handle it.

Sidwell Talked To “Nathan” And James, James And “Nathan” Spent Time With Obrecht

At Bobbie’s, Sidwell talked to “Nathan” and James West (Gary James Fuller); Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) felt uneasy as Sidwell connected with James over martial arts.

Lucy joined them, and Sidwell suggested sharing their meal with James and “Nathan,” but Cassius took the boy to get dessert with Obrecht.

Lucy hid her irritation as Sidwell praised Ava for her support and suggested inviting her to his yacht on July 4th. When James and “Nathan” met Obrecht, “Nathan” told his mother he was still seeing Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening);  James casually said he wished he had a brother and asked if “Nathan” felt the same.

“Nathan” said he had a brother, Peter August (Wes Ramsey), but hardly knew him; “No, I mean a good brother,” James replied-Obrecht looked pained.

Dante Took Rocco For Community Service As Elizabeth Treated Cullum

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) took Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) to the hospital for his community service shift.

He attempted to question Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) regarding what she had seen on the pier the night Cullum was shot.

She curtly responded that she had already provided her statement and cut off the conversation.

While Elizabeth was caring for Cullum in his hospital room, he praised her for delivering such outstanding care, even though she shares a child with the man who shot him.

He inquired about Jake Webber (Hudson West), pressed her on her relationship with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), and asked if she had been on duty the night of the shooting.

Cullum Asked Elizabeth Worrying Questions

Cullum continued to ask Elizabeth worrying questions, after scaring her about his knowledge about where Jake was and that Jason was his father.

Cullum revealed that Jason had hurt his hand while discharging his firearm; subsequently, Liz connected with Dante and shared the peculiar experience she had with Cullum.

Dante observed that it appeared Cullum was also on a quest for clarity regarding the night he was shot.  Dante was feeling more certain than ever that there were inconsistencies surrounding that fateful night.

Dante then admitted to Liz that he wished he had insisted on allowing the PCPD to look into the shooting rather than relinquishing the case to the WSB.

Britt Got Rough With Rocco, Trying To Protect Him

Britt caught Rocco looking at Cullum through the window of his hospital room and pulled the teen down the hall, reprimanding him for ignoring her warning to avoid the dangerous man.

When Rocco talked about shooting Cullum, Britt grabbed him firmly and told him to never speak those words again. Rocco felt hurt when Britt told him to keep his distance from her as well.

Liz noticed their intense discussion and intervened; after a shaken Rocco hurried away, Liz scolded Britt for her actions.

Britt softened when she tearfully explained that she was trying to do the right thing by keeping Rocco at a distance.

Valentin Put The Anna Puzzle Pieces Together

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) brought some food up to Valentin in the attic, where he updated her on his encounter with Josslyn.

She had informed him about discovering items connected to Cesar Faison- and thus to Anna-during her time at Wyndemere.

Valentin expressed his suspicion that Cullum had a direct hand in Anna’s mental collapse. He speculated that Anna was getting too close to uncovering the truth about Sidwell and Cullum’s activities, prompting them to eliminate her as a threat.

He noted that if they had killed her, it would have drawn too much attention, and he would never have found peace without ensuring they faced justice.

Valentin Worried Carly About The WSB Tracking Him, And They Were!

When Valentin inadvertently mentioned that he had once again contacted the clinic for an update on Anna, Carly was taken aback by the significant risk he had undertaken.

She reminded him considering the WSB was likely keeping tabs on Anna, she worried that his actions could lead the WSB directly to him. “Here, in my house,” she remarked pointedly.

Meanwhile, Cullum reached out to Sidwell to inform him that someone posing as Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) had called the clinic seeking information about Anna.

But the call originated from Port Charles, not from Kevin’s location in Ireland; “We need to identify who made that call and pay them a visit,” Cullum asserted.

Dante Busted Josslyn’s WSB Status To Her

Joss made her way to Dante’s office, expressing a desire to learn about the progress of the PCPD’s investigation into Cullum’s shooting.

She claimed it was so that she could provide Carly with an update. However, when Dante informed her that there was no ongoing investigation, Joss was suddenly reminded of the moment she witnessed ‘Nathan’ sneaking out of Cullum’s hospital room.

Just as she was about to exit, Dante halted her by disclosing that he had been aware for months of her involvement with the WSB.

Faced with this revelation, Joss reluctantly admitted that Brennan had deactivated her and instructed her to steer clear of Jason’s case.

Dante Reopened The Case Into Cullum’s Shooting

Josslyn, busted by Dante regarding her WSB status, said she was skeptical of the WSB’s narrative, particularly the claim that Jason was the shooter.

Then she voiced her suspicions, saying that she suspected that the agency was involved in a cover-up. Dante warned her that the next time she visited, she needed to come equipped with valuable information and be prepared to negotiate with him.

Once she departed, Dante made a phone call to one of the PCPD staff. He resolved to officially reopen the investigation into the shooting.
