Carly Spencer Won’t Back Down

Carly invited Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel) to her home and instructed him to sabotage the search for a new CEO at Jasper Jacks (formerly Ingo Rademacher) Enterprises, forcing Josslyn to take the position.

Hudson argued it was pointless since Josslyn was ignoring him, but Carly reminded him that Jax wanted Hudson to protect his daughter, not the company.

When Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) arrived, Carly sent Hudson away and told him how to find Josslyn’s apartment.

Carly shared her reasons for interfering in Josslyn’s life with Lucas.  He advised her to stop trying to control her daughter.

Josslyn Jacks’ SOS

At the boathouse, Josslyn sought Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) to support her against Jax and Carly’s scheme for her to assume control of Jasper Jacks Enterprises, expressing her wish to return to the field as a WSB agent.

While he understood Carly’s worries, Michael told her he couldn’t comply with her request.

Nevertheless, he offered to evaluate the CEO candidates once Josslyn had the shortlist ready.

In exchange, Michael asked Josslyn to steer clear of his relationship with Willow now that she was back on the Quartermaine estate. With some hesitation, Josslyn agreed.

Joss Stood Her Ground

Later, when Hudson found Josslyn at the boathouse, she introduced Michael as her consultant and directed Hudson to provide him with the list of candidates.

Once Michael had departed, Hudson attempted to persuade Josslyn to take the reins of JJE herself, urging her to rise to the challenge and prove her critics wrong.

Josslyn, however, accused Hudson of being influenced by her father, suggesting he was merely parroting what he had been told to manipulate her.

She remained firm in her stance. She kept insisting that she wanted no part in the company.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine Blindsided!

In the Quartermaine kitchen, Tracy caught Brook Lynn off guard with the surprising revelation that Willow had returned to the gatehouse.

This news sent a wave of concern through Brook Lynn, as she feared that Willow’s presence could jeopardize the progress she and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) had made in focusing on their marriage.

However, Tracy was resolute in her belief that Brook Lynn and Chase’s bond was stronger than ever.

Despite her disappointment, Brook Lynn steeled herself and walked into the house to deliver the flowers, making it clear that she was staking her claim on Chase.

She reminded him that they had plans to take Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton) to the lake, and they left.

Yuri’s Orders

Later on, Michael made an appearance and reminded Willow that she would have the opportunity to see the kids, provided she adhered to his set of rules.

Meanwhile, back in the kitchen, Tracy turned to Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) and instructed him to keep a vigilant watch on Willow.  She asked him to report any concerning behavior regarding Chase.

She noted, particularly if Chase and Willow found themselves alone together. Tracy’s frustration grew when she learned that the two were already in a private setting, as Chase was busy assisting Willow with her unpacking.

Apartment Hunting

General Hospital recaps for Monday, August 17 reveal that Lucas bumped into Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) at the hospital, and they playfully teased each other about their recent softball match.

While discussing their ongoing apartment hunts, Lucas mentioned that he had just signed a lease, to which Joe responded that he had a viewing appointment with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) later on.

Upon learning that Michael was single again, Lucy hurried to the pool to inform Serena Baldwin (Kelly Kruger) of the news.

Serena Baldwin Pushed Back

Lucy urged her daughter to be there for Michael as he dealt with his heartbreak, but Serena firmly stated that she and Michael were not meant to be romantically involved.

Instead, she wanted to concentrate on her work at Deception and show Michael that they were worthy of Maxie Jones’s (Kirsten Storms) shares.

Reluctantly, Lucy agreed to ease off on pushing Serena and Michael together, provided her daughter remained open to the idea of love.

Later, Lucy met Joe for their scheduled appointment, unaware that the apartment they were viewing was the very same one Lucas had just leased. Joe liked what he saw, although there was no furniture.
