Kai Taylor Interrogated
AMP in the post
Kai was summoned to the PCPD, where he was questioned by Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), and Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) about who might have keys to the Cain residence.
When Justine specifically inquired if Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) could have had a key, Kai confidently stated that neither Michael nor Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) would possess one.
Justine then asked if anyone else could have given Michael a key, but Kai responded that there was no one.
After exchanging a glance with Justine and Nathan, Dante let Kai go, and once he left, Justine complained that their last lead in figuring out if Michael could access Drew’s home had just reached a dead end.
Nathan West’s Theory
AMP in the post
Nathan admitted that maybe Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) was correct about someone placing the key on Michael’s keychain.
But when Justine retorted that it had been Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), Dante expressed his belief in Chase’s assertion that he hadn’t done it.
Since they couldn’t conclusively show that Chase had planted the key or that Michael was the shooter, Justine announced the investigation as a cold case.
This was even though she was convinced that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) was the right suspect.
With a shrug, Dante sighed that due to double jeopardy, Willow would remain a free woman, and Justine incredulously added, “… and as our new Congresswoman.”
Willow Cain’s Unorthodox Photo Shoot
General Hospital recaps for Monday, March 2 noted Willow pushed Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in his wheelchair to her office for a photo opportunity. When Laura came by, the photographer invited the mayor to join the Cains for a picture.
After the photo session, Laura offered to assist Willow during the transition, hoping they could collaborate more effectively than she had with Drew.
Then, Mayor Collins directly asked Congresswoman Cain if she intended to use her role to represent the people or to settle personal grievances.
Laura felt relieved when Willow responded that her goal was to serve her constituents. Turning to Drew, Laura wished him a quick recovery, and he looked back and forth between his wife and the mayor.
Ezra then arrived to greet Willow, followed closely by Kai.
Kai Updated Willow About His PCPD Visit
Back in the office, Kai told Willow that the PCPD had questioned him about whether Michael had a key to the house, which piqued Drew’s interest.
Kai mentioned that he had noticed A.D.A. Turner, Commissioner Falconeri, and Detective West were frustrated by their inability to uncover new evidence.
Willow expressed her disappointment, stating she still wanted everyone to know who shot her husband, and Kai looked over at Drew.
Then, Kai offered to assist Willow with the transition in hiring new interns, but she requested that he remain on staff.
Ezra Boyle’s Warning
After Kai departed, the mayor and the councilman convened with Willow, where Ezra proposed that a well-connected donor like Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) could benefit Willow’s administration.
When Laura interjected, expressing her belief that voters wouldn’t want a powerful figure with a large wallet influencing their representatives, Ezra scoffed, wishing Laura had learned to navigate the game by now.
Stating that she wouldn’t conform, Laura glanced at Congresswoman Cain and remarked that she doubted Willow would either.
Laura and Ezra then left, but once in the hallway, Ezra reprimanded the mayor for ignoring his earlier comments; he urged her to align Willow with Sidwell’s agenda as soon as possible for everyone’s benefit.
Willow Complained To Drew Privately
General Hospital recaps for March 2 reveal that in the quiet company of Drew, Willow expressed her frustrations.
She noted that since the PCPD halted their investigation, her aspirations to obtain sole custody of Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko) had not unfolded as she had envisioned.
However, she reasoned that this might actually be a blessing in disguise, as it meant the police were less likely to uncover any incriminating evidence against her.
With a smile, she reflected on how her situation had improved significantly, and she felt that her new role would be a much more productive way to spend her time. Drew, unable to communicate, just stared silently.
Curtis Ashford & Portia Robinson’s News
At the Ashford home, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) told Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) they were selling the house as part of their divorce.
Trina was upset about not being a family anymore, but her parents reassured her that their support would remain. Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) arrived to handle the real estate listing.
While Curtis took her upstairs to discuss updates, Trina cried to Portia. She was surprised by how fast the house was going on the market.
Curtis Backed Out Of The Sale
Curtis came down as Trina and Portia reminisced about their memories in the house, feeling strange about losing it.
Listening from behind a wall, Curtis reflected on Portia’s words about keeping their memories and how their family dream was changing but still happening.
Lucy returned, excited about the home’s updates, and Trina went outside to wait for Kai, who texted he was on his way.
Lucy told Curtis and Portia the waterfront property would sell fast but when it was time to sign the contract, Curtis hesitated.
Remembering the day they made an offer on the house, he told Lucy he couldn’t proceed.
Kai Updated Trina On His Political Career
Outside, Kai filled Trina in on his discussion with the PCPD, mentioning that it appeared to him as though they had discovered a key to Drew’s residence in Michael’s belongings.
They both concurred that it was quite possible Willow had secretly placed the key on her former husband. Trina expressed her relief that Kai had stepped down from his position, but then her anger flared.
Kai disclosed that he had accepted Willow’s proposal to remain as an intern, allowing him to keep a watchful eye on both Drew and Willow.
In her frustration, Trina pressed him to clarify when he intended to finally walk away from this situation.
Tracy Quartermaine’s Concern
During tea, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) expressed to Brook Lynn that Chase’s fight against Michael was causing too much family conflict, and the ongoing arguments were unacceptable.
Since she wouldn’t ask Michael to leave, Tracy inquired how long Brook Lynn intended to mediate the dispute between her husband and her family.
Brook Lynn admitted it was tough being caught between Chase and Michael but stated she had to back her husband. Tracy accused Chase of trying to ensure Michael was blamed for the shooting, but Brook Lynn defended Chase.
BLQ told her grandmother that she believed him when he claimed he didn’t plant the key on Michael. She mentioned she told Chase he crossed a line with the key issue and wouldn’t proceed with their adoption plans unless he dropped it.
Ned Quartermaine’s Words Of Wisdom
General Hospital recaps for Monday state that Tracy was pleased to hear Chase had agreed, but she questioned if Brook Lynn thought he was just saying what she wanted to hear.
Brook Lynn felt confident that once they adopted their baby, the conflict would be forgotten. Meanwhile, in the foyer, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) confronted Chase about prioritizing Willow over Brook Lynn.
He noted that Chase’s grudge against Michael was harming his daughter. Chase denied having a grudge, claiming he needed to investigate the possibility of Michael being the shooter after Willow was wrongfully arrested.
Ned countered that Chase chose to pursue it. Tracy and Brook Lynn then came out of the living room, and Chase surprised his wife with a date night.
BLQ & Chase’s Shock
After the couple exited, Ned told his mother that Chase had taken his advice regarding Willow, but Tracy remained skeptical.
Despite Brook Lynn’s assurance that Chase was giving up his rogue pursuits in favor of adopting, Tracy told Ned that she knew firsthand how manipulative Willow could be, and that made her very concerned for Brook Lynn.
Later, Chase and Brook Lynn were out on a romantic stroll when he declared his love for his wife, and they shared a passionate kiss. But then, something across the street caught Brook Lynn’s eye, and she gasped, “Oh my God!”
The New And Improved Charlie’s Pub …
Kristina invited Michael, Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell), and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to the newly renovated Charlie’s Pub, which her dad funded.
She planned to reopen it soon. Shocked to learn from them that her mom was passed over for Congress in favor of Willow, Kristina asked her dad if Laura had hinted at changing her mind about appointing Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
Sonny replied that the mayor had her reasons, even if he disagreed, and believed Laura would fix things with Alexis.
Michael was worried that Willow would use her new role to ensure he faced attempted murder charges.
Kristina Corinthos-Davis Vented
General Hospital recaps for March 2 indicate that Kristina vented to Sonny about the unfairness of Willow’s Congress appointment while Michael was under investigation; her dad urged her not to fuel Michael’s anger and worsen things for the kids.
Kristina still feared Michael would lose the children if he was charged and convicted. Sonny reassured her that Michael would not be prosecuted for shooting Drew because he would take care of it.
Meanwhile, Michael expressed his concerns about Willow’s new position to Jacinda, but she thought Willow might surprise them by standing on her own for once.
Then, Michael got a call that Dante wanted to meet him at the police station, so Kristina drove Jacinda home.

Sonny Corinthos’ Important Call
Sonny stayed back to lock up and called Justine to meet him. When she arrived at the pub, she told Sonny that the investigation into Drew’s shooting was being put on hold.
Since Michael was no longer a suspect, she said he could stop acting interested in her; “I’m not acting,” Sonny replied.
At the PCPD, Dante informed Michael that Turner had dropped the investigation into Drew’s shooting-both brothers felt relieved.
But Dante warned that while there was no clear way to prove Michael’s guilt, there was also no way to clear his name, meaning he would always be suspected in public opinion.
