‘General Hospital’ Recap November 24: Sonny Covers for Laura, Rocco Beaten & Britt and Jason Clash

On today's GH, Tension erupts across Port Charles as cover-ups deepen, a teen is attacked, and a dangerous double life finally explodes.

General Hospital recaps for Monday, November 24 reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) supported Laura Collins (Genie Francis) while Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) visited Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).

Plus, S. Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) was busted by Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) for staying involved with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).

Sonny Supported Laura

Laura prepared herself before going into her office and was surprised to find Sonny there. She worried about his unexpected visit, but Sonny reminded her to act normal.

After a quick chat about Rocco, Sonny mentioned that people would soon notice Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) was missing and asked if her car was okay. (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)

Laura grimaced and said it was fine, but she couldn’t check the trunk-Sonny assured her nothing linked her to Dalton’s body since there wasn’t one. Laura also searched her apartment for any planted weapon to frame her but found nothing.

Laura Was Still Worried

Still, she feared she had played into the killer’s hands by covering up the crime and suggested putting the body back.

Sonny reminded her she had already lied to the cops when Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) checked on her and insisted Rocco was better off with Dalton dead.

Laura worried she had a strong motive to kill the professor, but Sonny pointed out no body, no crime, advising her to act surprised when she hears about Dalton’s death.

Just then, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) burst in with flowers to congratulate his sister on her mayoral win and was surprised to see Sonny with her.

Noting that her connection to Sonny nearly cost her the election, Martin questioned why they were still together-after explaining they were discussing Rocco’s situation, Sonny left.

Dante Visited Rocco

Dante visited Rocco at the juvenile detention center to see how he was doing; Rocco argued he didn’t belong there since he didn’t damage Dalton’s lab.

Dante reassured him that Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) would support his story.

Rocco panicked, fearing Danny would get into more trouble, which would keep Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)  from letting him see Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante).

Dante was proud of Rocco for wanting to protect the other teens but stressed that their confessions were needed to show Dalton was lying.

He told Rocco to stay strong until his bail hearing tomorrow, and Rocco sadly asked if he’d be out in time for Thanksgiving.

Sonny Visited Rocco, And He Had Been Beaten After Dante Left

Later, Sonny visited Rocco and, seeing the bruises and cuts on his face from after Dante left, angrily confronted the guard. Rocco claimed it looked worse than it was, but Sonny wanted to know what happened.

Rocco thought he might have been targeted because his dad is a cop. He pleaded with Sonny not to tell Dante, and Sonny promised to protect him while he was there. “If anyone messes with you,” he said, “they’re messing with me.”

Justine Talked About Dalton Not Showing Up For Their Meeting

At the police station, ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) asked Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) if he had seen Professor Dalton.

They were supposed to meet this morning, but he didn’t show up. Nathan found it strange that Dalton wasn’t pursuing the case, especially since he had reported Rocco so eagerly.

Justine started to think Dalton might have set the kid up and used her for it; their investigation didn’t support Dalton’s claims, making her wonder if he wanted to avoid perjury.

Then Dante arrived, and Justine assured him she was doing everything to resolve the case quickly.

Dante Tasked Nathan With Bringing Dalton In

After she returned to work, Dante complained that she was likely looking for more evidence against his son. However, Nathan revealed he believed she was trying to help Rocco.

Dante was doubtful, but Nathan explained that the evidence favored Rocco, which might be why Dalton didn’t meet with Justine.

Dante insisted he wanted to find Dalton right away-later, Nathan called Dante to report that there was no sign of Dalton on campus.

His car was in the parking lot, but he wasn’t in his room at the Metro Court. The detective noted that Dalton could easily disappear, but Dante promised that wouldn’t happen on his watch.

Jason Checked In With Britt, Offering His Help

Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was not very excited when Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) visited her room once more to express his regrets for leaving abruptly the previous night.

He was adamant about wanting to set things straight. Britt curtly responded that everything was fine, yet he pressed her to share the complete truth so he could assist her.

Britt resentfully replied that she had no desire for his help, but Jason maintained that given her condition, there would come a time when she would require support. Britt reminded him she was in remission, but he said that wouldn’t last.

Jason Figured Out Britt’s Staying In Remission Was Dependent On Her Working In The Lab

Jason then asked if her job at the Five Poppies was necessary for her to stay in remission. Britt said it was her life, and he had no say.

When he said she didn’t have to do this alone, she sighed, “Your actions last night suggest otherwise.” Jason admitted he might let her down again because he’s not perfect, but promised to show he was trustworthy.

Just then, Nathan knocked on her door to ask if Britt had heard from Dalton, who seemed to have vanished.

Martin And Laura Got In A Sibling Squabble

Back at Laura’s office, Martin cautioned his sister not to overlook who Sonny truly is, but she countered by bringing up the forgery of Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) will. He acknowledged it was a foolish plan, yet argued it was minor compared to Sonny’s daily crimes.

Drawing a parallel between Sonny and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), Martin warned Laura she was supporting Sonny just as she did with Cyrus, clinging to the hope that he had some goodness within.

Laura defended Sonny, claiming he possessed a sense of justice unlike their brother; Martin expressed concern that she might get dragged into Sonny’s world, warning that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) would retaliate.

Jenz wouldn’t like losing Measure C in the election; as Laura maintained that Sonny was a trustworthy friend, Dante interrupted with news that Dalton was missing, prompting her to feign shock.

Carly Woke Up With Jack

After a night with Jack, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) lay in bed, forcing a smile as he woke up, asking if she regretted anything from last night, but she stood by her choice. Jack claimed he never intended to hurt her by hiding Vaughn’s WSB ties and vowed to keep his job separate from her family.

Carly went to freshen up, and once in the bathroom, Jack’s face darkened as he made a call for an update.

Meanwhile, Josslyn glanced at Vaughn in bed and told her boss she upset her mom but gained favor with Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) by supporting him over his move to Wyndemere. Jack instructed her to meet Lucas this afternoon and reconcile with her mother.

Jack Had To Leave For A “Work Meeting”

Carly came back, and when Jack saw she was upset, she quickly brushed it off, saying it was Josslyn pushing Lucas to move in with Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo).

Jack felt it wasn’t his place to say much, but she insisted, so he advised her to reconcile with Josslyn and Lucas. Carly questioned if she should apologize when she didn’t truly feel it, and she didn’t get why Josslyn supported Lucas.

Jack urged her not to do anything that might alienate Josslyn further; “Thank you,” Carly replied with a strained smile.

“It means a lot that you get how important my daughter is to me;” just then, Jack’s phone rang, summoning him to work, and after he left to get ready, Carly exhaled deeply.

Joss And Vaughn Continued Talking While In Bed

Josslyn vented to Vaughn about feeling sorry for Lucas after all he’s endured, now dating a sketchy guy and living with him and his even sketchier dad. She mentioned her argument with her mother, even though she actually agreed with her.

Vaughn reminded her of the need to stop Sidwell and shut down Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) final project, but she sighed, “I just hate that someone I care about is going to be collateral damage. Especially since we both know Lucas could end up with more than just a broken heart.”

Feeling guilty for putting someone she loves at risk, Vaughn reassured her that if the time came when she felt Lucas needed saving and Jack disagreed, he’d support her.

Elizabeth And Lucas Talked At Work

At the hospital, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) asked Lucas about living with Marco. He shared that Marco seems to blame Sonny for his mother’s death, which Lucas understood but disagreed with.

He recalled confronting Sonny over Marco’s kidnapping but didn’t mention why Marco might hate him.

Lucas expressed frustration that Sonny hasn’t faced consequences for his actions, but Liz reminded him that many people care about Sonny too, suggesting he let Marco handle this on his own.

She advised him to remain neutral while supporting Marco, but Lucas felt Carly was saying Marco was just using him.

Carly And Josslyn Talked Outside The Hospital

Carly caught Josslyn outside the hospital to apologize for her behavior but mentioned her ongoing worry about Lucas. Joss understood, yet they remained divided; Joss believed they should back Lucas’s choice, while Carly doubted Marco’s trustworthiness.

Joss insisted Lucas had made his choice and shouldn’t have to choose between his boyfriend and sister. Carly wanted to mend things with Lucas but was unsure how, so Josslyn recommended not surprising him at work with an apology and giving him space.

Carly agreed and reassured Joss that despite their arguments, her love for her remains.

Jack Busted Vaughn For Continuing To Date Josslyn

Vaughn met Jack in an alley, stating he planned to extract the truth from Dalton later that day. He detailed how he sent Josslyn to coax the very drunk professor into revealing secrets at the bar.

When Vaughn mentioned he stayed for backup in case things turned risky, Jack questioned if that was his only role.

Vaughn feigned ignorance, but suddenly, two agents appeared and seized his arms. “I warned you against getting involved with Josslyn,” Jack thundered as the young agent was pulled away; “This is the consequence for those who ignore my commands.”
