General Hospital recaps for Tuesday, October 13, reveal Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) gloated, while Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) was served a summons.
Plus, at the Cat’s Eye Lounge during her and Gio Palmieri’s (Giovanni Mazza) performance, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) was stalked!
Key Takeaways
- Josslyn gloats over Sonny’s defeat
- Sonny and Ric plan their next move
- Carly and Valentin discuss Josslyn
- Willow serves Lulu with a lawsuit
- Trina receives mysterious roses
Josslyn Gloated
Following Josslyn’s victory in the pier auction, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) quickly departed the conference room to avoid the confrontation.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) confronted Josslyn and Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel).
Sonny warned that she lacked the experience to manage the piers’ inherent risks and demanded she sell to him.
Josslyn refused, asserting that JJE would create something worthwhile at the waterfront before leaving.
Later in Hudson’s suite, Josslyn celebrated learning that Sonny had been outbid, while Hudson expressed his contempt for Ric.
They toasted their win with expensive champagne (Josslyn’s nod to Jax’s preference).
Hudson praised the “one-woman army who will leave Corinthos in the rubble.”

Sonny And Ric Worked On A Battle Plan
Disappointed by their auction defeat, Sonny and Ric returned to Sonny’s place.
They discussed why Josslyn had abandoned the WSB to create and lead JJE.
They suspected her personal grudge against Sonny had driven this career change, rather than it being a smart business move.
Sonny admitted his lingering feelings for Josslyn but insisted he couldn’t stand idle while she worked to destroy him.
Rather than confront her directly, Sonny proposed they investigate Hudson instead.
He reasoned that intelligence about Hudson could give them the advantage needed to counter Josslyn’s threat before it became unmanageable.
The battle over Sonny’s future has been building, as General Hospital Tea previously explored how Josslyn’s revenge could threaten everything Sonny has left.

Carly And Valentin Discussed Josslyn And Anna
Within the confines of Carly’s office, she reflected aloud to Valentin about Josslyn’s acquisition of the piers as a strategic move against Sonny.
Valentin praised Carly’s restraint in avoiding interference between Sonny and Josslyn.
However, he expressed concern that Joss had overextended herself.
Carly revealed that she’d enlisted Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) to serve as Josslyn’s mentor.
She encouraged Valentin to participate in Anna’s therapy sessions alongside her.
Carly emphasized that this arrangement would benefit not just Anna, but Valentin as well.
Valentin consented to contact Anna about joining.
When their discussion circled back to Josslyn and the potential hazards awaiting her as the piers’ new proprietor, Valentin hinted that he might possess a solution to assist Carly’s daughter.

Dante Talked To Lulu About Sidwell’s Denials
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) informed Lulu that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) claimed he couldn’t remember making the statements featured in her article.
He attributed this to heavy medication and asserted that his quotes in The Invader were inaccurate.
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) subsequently arrived and challenged Lulu about conducting interviews with her and Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) under misleading circumstances.
Lulu stood by her article’s integrity.
Meanwhile, Liz demanded an explanation for how Lulu accessed Sidwell’s room, given her explicit instructions to keep away from the patient.
Lulu Was Served
Lulu maintained she’d obtained Sidwell’s permission and apologized to Liz.
Yet she pressed the question of why Liz wasn’t equally upset about Willow’s actions as a congresswoman.
She also questioned what other wrongdoings Willow might be responsible for.
Both Liz and Dante cautioned Lulu against making accusations toward Willow.
However, Lulu remained convinced that the mysterious drug connected Drew and Jack’s strokes.
Dante urged her to withdraw the article, but Lulu declined.
She pointed out that she possessed a recording of her conversation with Sidwell, and Elizabeth verified that the quotes were authentic.
As Lulu announced her intention to publish a follow-up piece, a process server knocked on the door.
Lulu discovered that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) was initiating a libel lawsuit against her.
As previously reported, Chase had encouraged Willow to pursue legal action against Lulu.
Trina Was Stalked
A figure peered through the Cat’s Eye Lounge window as Trina welcomed Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup).
Ava masked her remorse when Trina mentioned that her family held optimism about Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) potentially transferring to Spring Ridge, a minimum-security institution, following his discharge from GH.
Quinn (Jequan Jackson) showed up later than anticipated.
He asked whether Kai had concerns about how intimately connected Trina and Gio were, though Kai felt secure about their relationship.
Elsewhere, Trina offered reassurance to Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) regarding her intention to move in with Gio.
She mentioned that she and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) had contemplated living together.
“Make the move,” she encouraged.
“Because opportunities don’t always come around twice.”
The mystery surrounding Trina’s admirer has been growing, and CTS recently explored whether Quinn is the stalker or simply a red herring.

Drew Met Ava At The Cat’s Eye Lounge And Spelled Out His Plan
Following Trina and Gio’s performance, Kai and Quinn praised their singing.
Emma gave Trina a bouquet of roses that had been waiting outside from her “number one admirer.”
Trina believed the bouquet came from Kai.
When he playfully suggested she had another devoted admirer, Quinn’s gaze fixed on Trina.
Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) encountered Ava, who stressed that Trina must never discover their involvement in the Pentonville assault that injured Curtis.
Drew shared with Ava his intention to refute all claims in Lulu’s piece to prevent scrutiny of Brennan’s vanishing.
He additionally revealed that he and Sonny both lost the pier auction to Josslyn.
Ava and Drew recognized that Joss could potentially handle eliminating Sonny as a threat for them.
Annemarie’s Take
I think Josslyn is getting a little too comfortable celebrating Sonny’s defeat.
She may have won the auction, but that doesn’t mean she’s prepared for everything that comes with owning those piers. Sonny knows how dangerous that territory can be.
As for Lulu, I hope she doesn’t back down.
She has a recording of Sidwell’s statements, and now Willow wants to sue her? That could turn into quite a legal battle!
But Trina’s stalker storyline is what really concerns me.
Those roses may seem innocent, but there’s something very unsettling about an anonymous admirer watching her every move.
And I’m not convinced Quinn is the person behind it.
