Valentin Talked Anna Into Letting Him Help

Before meeting her therapist, Anna visited Valentin’s house to retract her request for his therapeutic assistance, admitting she regretted mentioning it to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

After moving to the couch, Anna distanced herself by sitting in a chair and explained that Dr. Nichols (Kearran Giovanni) wanted someone from her WSB past in her sessions, but she couldn’t face reliving their shared trauma.

Valentin then talked about some of his own past trauma, and Anna replied that he was a new man now, not the same as he once was.

Valentin insisted he felt the same way about reliving past trauma. Yet, he believed it would help them both, he said softly.

Anna replied yes through tears, smiling and nodding.

Jude Extended His Stay In Port Charles

The morning after their encounter, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) joined her mystery man for breakfast in his Metro Court suite.

When he attempted to start a conversation about her hospital work, which he’d deduced from observing her at The Brown Dog, Britt reminded him they’d agreed to one anonymous night.

Honoring their arrangement, they parted ways, with Britt expecting never to see him again.

In the hallway, she beamed at how the night unfolded.

Later, as Jude called the front desk to extend his Port Charles stay, he opened his nightstand drawer for his watch, which was positioned beside a pistol.

The discovery added another mysterious element to Jude’s arrival and his encounter with Britt.

Stella’s Unpleasant Task

Stella Henry (Vernee Watson), Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) convened to address Britt’s conduct toward staff members at the mixer.

Elizabeth stepped in to defend Britt, highlighting the extraordinary circumstances surrounding the physician’s situation.

As whispers of formal HR complaints began circulating, Stella confronted Elizabeth about attempting to resolve the matter independently rather than escalating it to her.

The trio recognized they had to approach Britt promptly to prevent themselves from becoming entangled in potential HR litigation.

It was an unpleasant job, but it had to be done.

A Bubbly Britt Showed Up Bearing Gifts

Shortly afterward, an upbeat Britt showed up at GH carrying pastries from Eckert’s Bakery and extended sincere apologies to a stunned Liz and Felicia regarding her previous evening’s demeanor.

Britt subsequently sat down with Stella for her performance evaluation.

Stella found herself taken aback when Britt genuinely expressed that she could improve her interactions with colleagues and requested Stella’s guidance.

Liz and Felicia were astonished to witness a considerate Britt and a bewildered Stella emerging from the conference room.

Eager to launch her initiative, Britt hurried around distributing donuts to additional staff members.

Meanwhile, Stella stammered to Liz and Felicia that the doctor must have undergone an extraterrestrial abduction!

As Britt’s unusual behavior and Valentin’s advice had been teased ahead of the episode, her dramatic change in attitude certainly didn’t disappoint.

Molly Talked To Alexis About Her Job Opportunity

Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) informed Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) about a prestigious Chicago law firm’s offer to practice civil law, her ideal career move.

However, Molly hesitated about relocating due to her reluctance to leave her mother, Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski), and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly).

Alexis encouraged her daughter, noting that Cody would accompany her if he chose to, and highlighted the position’s advantages.

Though conflicted, Molly acknowledged Alexis’ point that the decision was difficult given her established life and career in Port Charles.

Alexis urged her to discuss it with Cody.

Cody Asked For Thanksgiving Off, Then Went To Talk To Molly And Alexis

Meanwhile, Cody requested Thanksgiving off from Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), who initially refused, citing her need for him to manage inevitable crises.

When Cody mentioned his plans with Molly to celebrate Thanksgiving with their families, Tracy agreed.

Later, Cody consulted Alexis about bookshelves he was constructing for the law office.

As the conversation shifted to Alexis hosting Thanksgiving dinner, Molly and Cody joked about her commitment to avoid cooking.

Cody embraced his girlfriend, reassuring Alexis that he and Molly would handle everything needed.

Jason Refused To Sign Over Michael’s Proxy

Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) summoned Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to Deception, ostensibly to apologize for a document mishap.

But Jason recognized the ruse and warned her and Serena Baldwin (Kelly Kruger) against attempting to manipulate him into reassigning Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) proxy.

When Lucy inquired about her timeline before Tracy ousted her from the company, Jason reiterated his position to Serena: silence unless directly questioned.

After Jason’s departure, Serena resisted Lucy’s scheme to reclaim controlling interest before Tracy moved against her.

She insisted no one would ask Jason about the attempted deception.

Lucy remained skeptical.

Tracy Summoned Jason To The Stables

Tracy later summoned Jason to the stables for an update on his assistance with Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) ELQ responsibilities.

She probed about Deception’s status, and when Jason claimed all was well, Tracy cautioned that Lucy would strike unexpectedly.

Jason’s evasive response suggested Lucy had already made her move.

When Jason claimed he was being cautious, Tracy pressed for clarity. He hadn’t actually answered her question.

Jason pointed out that she’d asked nothing specific, prompting Tracy to demand directly:

Had Lucy Coe attempted to seize control of Deception?

Annemarie’s Take

I have to say, Britt’s sudden personality change was hilarious!

One night with Jude, and she’s handing out pastries and asking Stella for advice. No wonder everyone thought something was wrong with her!

But that gun in Jude’s drawer certainly caught my attention. There’s clearly more to this mysterious man than he’s letting on.

I’m also enjoying Jason refusing to fall for Lucy’s tricks. He knows exactly what she’s trying to accomplish, and Tracy isn’t going to let him dodge her questions forever.

As for Anna and Valentin, their emotional conversation was touching. I hope his involvement in her therapy actually helps her move forward.

What surprised you most about Wednesday’s episode: Jude’s hidden gun, Britt’s sudden kindness, or Jason’s confrontation with Lucy and Tracy?
