Jude shocks Brook Lynn with a claim about Phoebe, Tracy takes control of Deception, and Nina faces a new WSB threat.

General Hospital Recap October 28: Jude's Baby Bombshell, Tracy's Ruthless Takeover & Nina's WSB NightmareGeneral Hospital recaps for Wednesday, October 28, revealed Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) agreed to represent Ava Jerome (Maura West).

In the meantime, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) dropped a bombshell, and Jude (Wil Traval) came looking for Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton).

Key Takeaways

  • Alexis agrees to represent Ava in the Brennan investigation
  • Tracy reveals Deception has been absorbed into ELQ
  • Jude arrives at the Quartermaine mansion looking for his daughter
  • Dante and Chase clash over Willow and Lulu’s article
  • Nina learns the WSB is investigating her daughter

Alexis Agreed To Represent Ava

At Miller & Davis, Alexis reluctantly took on Ava’s case after Ava desperately sought representation to outmaneuver Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) before he could move against her.

Under attorney-client privilege, Ava disclosed that the PCPD and WSB had questioned her regarding Jack’s disappearance and that she’d collaborated with Drew to drug a WSB agent.

She admitted she’d never wanted to partner with Drew but felt compelled to protect Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) and needed leverage against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

As Ava’s legal nightmare continued to unfold, she had plenty of reasons to worry about the investigation.

Alexis cautioned them to prepare for the possibility of Jack’s accidental death while incapacitated, though Ava withheld that he was already deceased and buried.

Alexis offered to find precedent for reduced charges if Ava testified against Drew, but Ava demanded complete immunity.

Serena Arrived At The Quartermaine Mansion While Lucy Went To See Willow

Despite her recent divorce, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) remained focused on Tracy’s Deception meeting.

When Serena Baldwin (Kelly Kruger) arrived at the mansion, she excitedly told Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) about tagged falcons arriving in Florida, interrupting his attempt to warn her about something.

Before the meeting, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) visited the gatehouse, ostensibly to discuss a house for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and her children, but Willow dismissed her.

At the main house, Serena privately asked Lucy if she’d succeeded with Willow. Lucy confirmed she’d laid the groundwork.

Though neither understood Tracy’s purpose for the meeting, Serena assured Lucy it didn’t matter since Jason had pledged silence about their Deception proxy scheme.

Tracy Dropped A Bombshell And Jude Came Looking For Phoebe

As the meeting commenced, Tracy delivered shocking news: Deception had been absorbed into ELQ. Lucy, devastated and enraged, accused Brook Lynn of acting out of vengeance.

Brook Lynn countered sharply, noting their score was settled since Lucy had forced her to surrender valuable shares.

Lucy then turned her fury on Jason, denouncing him for abandoning his integrity and becoming a true Quartermaine.

Tracy smiled with satisfaction, confirming, “He absolutely is!” Then a knock interrupted the moment.

Brook Lynn opened the door to reveal Jude, Britt’s mysterious suitor, who declared with quiet determination, “I’ve come to meet my daughter.”

As Jude’s claim on Phoebe could create a custody nightmare, Brook Lynn and Chase may have a serious battle ahead.

Britt Overheard Dante And Chase’s Conversation

Britt arrived at Aurora Wellness, recalling her passionate encounter with a stranger.

She ducked behind a wall upon hearing Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) express sympathy to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) regarding his divorce; she rushed to inform Willow.

Chase told Dante that a contentious meeting with his and Brook Lynn’s divorce attorneys prompted them to fly out for a quick divorce.

Though hesitant to sign, Chase ultimately couldn’t overlook the Qs pressuring Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) to publish false claims about Willow in The Invader.

Dante defended Lulu and her recording of Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), but Chase countered that Sidwell had ample motivation to fabricate his account.

Dante And Chase Continued To Argue

Dante made a valiant attempt to persuade Chase that Sidwell’s account deserved serious consideration.

But Chase remained steadfast in his passionate objection to Lulu’s allegations, arguing they were preposterous since Willow would never stoop to administering drugs to anyone.

Growing increasingly frustrated, Dante released an exasperated sigh and accused Chase of maintaining an unwavering belief in Willow’s innocence because it was essential.

Otherwise, he’d surrendered his marriage to someone who’d deceived and exploited him.

Chase reacted defensively to this observation, asserting that his and Brook Lynn’s estrangement resulted from their own choices rather than Willow’s meddling, then stormed away from the discussion.

Britt And Willow Continued To Talk

Upon learning of Chase’s divorce, Willow felt compelled to reach out and check on him. Britt cautioned against it, particularly given Willow’s libel suit against Lulu over a factually accurate article.

Willow acknowledged she should have heeded Britt’s initial advice to disregard the story, but Chase’s faith in her innocence had influenced her decision.

When Britt suggested everything would likely resolve itself, Willow questioned her cousin’s sudden optimism, and Britt revealed her improved mood stemmed from a one-night stand with an attractive stranger.

Willow asked why Britt wasn’t interested in pursuing something further, but Britt recognized she’d inevitably discover flaws in the otherwise ideal man if she sought him out.

Carly And Valentin Talked About Jack’s Disappearance

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) agreed the best approach to help Lulu’s libel suit was uncovering Jack Brennan’s (Chris L. McKenna) fate before the WSB.

Valentin suspected Jack might be dead. Since Ava was last seen with Jack, they theorized she killed him with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) as an accomplice.

Recalling a laundry cart found in the garage the morning after, Carly believed it transported Jack to a car, suggesting they didn’t travel far with a body.

When Valentin noted they needed a body for proof, Carly vowed to keep searching.

Nina Was Transferred To Port Charles From Steinmauer

Acting WSB Station Chief William Baines (Alimi Ballard) convened with Nina, who had been relocated from Steinmauer to a WSB facility in Port Charles, and disclosed that fresh evidence had raised questions regarding her connection to Brennan’s disappearance.

As Nina’s desperate situation with the WSB continued, she faced even more troubling news.

Asserting her innocence, Nina theorized that Jack either suffered a terrible fate or she was being framed to allow the WSB to conceal its own involvement.

Baines maintained that, as far as he knew, the WSB remained unaware of Jack’s whereabouts, and Nina felt reassured when he expressed his belief in her account.

However, her relief transformed into alarm when Baines revealed they were launching a fresh investigation into alternative suspects, including her own daughter!

Annemarie’s Take

Well, Tracy certainly pulled a fast one on Lucy! I loved seeing her take control of Deception, but Jude showing up at the mansion was an even bigger shock.

I can’t wait to see how Brook Lynn and Jason react to his claim about Phoebe.

And poor Nina! Just when she thought things might be looking up, the WSB decided to investigate her daughter. I have a feeling this is going to get even messier!
