Anna Devane Summons Dante Falconeri

General Hospital recaps for Thursday, September 10, confirm that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will summon Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to her condo.

Jason is there when Dante arrives and leaves shortly after. Anna tells Dante that she needs him to step in again as acting police commissioner because of ‘an incident’ she was involved in last night.

Dante is sympathetic to Anna’s situation as his own run with the WSB caused massive PTSD.

He reminded Anna how supportive she was when he went through his own ordeal, and he offered the same to her. He noted that he looked forward to having her back at the PCPD.

Before he left, Anna told him that Britt may reach out regarding what happened last night, and if she did, he was to follow protocol.

Britt Westbourne’s Outrage

Over at the hospital, a worried Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) talked with Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), who assured her that Anna would get the help she needs with her new therapis

Meanwhile, not too far away, Britt was venting to Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) about what Anna did to her the night before.

Emma went to talk to Britt, but the doctor was very resistant to listening to her. She vehemently declared that Anna needed to be locked up.

Emma asked Britt for some compassion, considering what her grandmother had been through. Britt scoffed at the idea, which triggered a heated argument between the two.

Felicia intervened before things got too ugly but also encouraged Britt to recall all the chances she’d been given recently. Felicia grabbed Emma and walked away.

Anna’s First Therapy Session

General Hospital recaps for Thursday state that Anna arrived at the hospital for her first therapy session, running into Emma first, and promising to do all she can to get better.

As Anna waited for her session, Felicia waited with her. Anna apologized to Felicia for tricking her into getting her released from the French clinic.

Anna admitted she wasn’t being honest, and that she was having Peter August (Wes Ramsey) hallucinations, and she was planning to kill Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) descendants.

Felicia believed Anna had reached that point because of all she’d been through and understood what her friend was going through.

Anna promised to fix this. Dr. Nichols (Kearran Giovanni) arrived, and Anna began her first therapy session.

Britt Vents

Over at another end of the hospital, Britt vented about how no one understood what she went through while she was under Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) and Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) thumb.

Lucas acknowledged Britt’s trauma, but also reminded her that Anna, too, had gone through a lot, too.

As Britt watched Anna walk onto an elevator with Dr. Nichols, she looked upset. Lucas nicely reminded Britt to leave Anna be. Britt acknowledged that she wasn’t going to go near Anna; however, vowed Anna would pay.

Gio Palmieri Checks In

Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) went to check in on Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). Trina tells Gio she’s unsure if she can get past Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) lie that consequently caused so much drama in her family.

Gio wondered if this would affect their friendship, but Trina assured him it wouldn’t.

Gio left Trina’s and went to see Emma. She updated him on Anna’s scary situation and her *almost* fight with Britt, and he updated her on his talk with Trina.

Alexis Davis To The Rescue

Over at the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) hired Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) to represent Brook Lynn where the car accident is concerned.

Better to grab the bull by the horns and strike while the iron is hot, versus ‘wait’ for repercussions to fall. Still, Diane was unavailable, and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) came in her place.

When BLQ strolled into the living room, she was shocked to see Alexis there, and thought she’d only get points off her license or something minor like that.

Alexis noted that not helping the Ashfords wasn’t a crime; however, hitting the guard rail and not reporting it to the authorities might result in jail time. It was possible.

Justine Turner’s Verdict

ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) arrived for a meeting at the house, as Alexis informed her of what BLQ did and why.

Turner noted that the only crime BLQ committed was hitting the guardrail, which would result in a fine.

Still, as a friend of Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper), Justine noted that BLQ might not be liable for the accident or everything that followed, including Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) prison stint, but she’ll have to live with knowing that this chain of events may never have happened if she had come forward earlier.

After Justine left, BLQ took off to apologize to everyone she hurt, and started at Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) door.

Meanwhile, Tracy took Alexis aside and asked Miller & Davis for help handling Brook Lynn’s divorce.

Harrison Chase’s Bombshell

Over at the police station, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) shocked Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) when he said the Ashford crash case is closed, and that BLQ was the other driver.

Dante arrives and tells both of them that Anna is taking another leave of absence, and he’s filling in for her again.

Dante and Chase had a little chat, and fans learned that Chase spent the night at the Metro Court.

Later, Ned arrived at the PCPD, demanding that Chase follow him in an effort to save his marriage.

Josslyn Jacks’ Dilemma

Over at the Q Boathouse, General Hospital recaps reveal that Jason and Josslyn have a chat. Jason confirmed Britt’s story about Anna, and they talk about Anna’s mental health breakdown, including all the visions of Peter.

Josslyn then realized that Sidwell and Cullum worked overtime to ruin Anna so she wouldn’t jeopardize the project. She also talked about Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) and how he wasn’t that terrible.

Josslyn confessed that she went along with the WSB’s story to protect Cullum’s public image, and the deal she organized, as such, to get him and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) released.

Josslyn was torn over reporting Anna to the WSB. Jason tells her that reporting it wouldn’t help Anna, but the woman would understand. Either way, the ball is in her court.
