Ava and Drew Buried Jack

Drew and Ava dug a grave in the nature preserve next to the Quartermaine estate, where they buried Jack’s body.

After they pushed him into the somewhat shallow grave, Ava felt a wave of guilt and asked Drew if they could take a moment of silence before covering it with dirt.

Drew agreed, and Ava expressed her apologies to Brennan’s body, confessing that she never meant for him to die.

Given that she was the last person seen with Jack, Ava worried that the PCPD would come looking for them once they realized he was missing-however, Drew reassured her, pointing out that Brennan had many enemies.

After they buried the body, they heard a dog barking in the distance and quickly left the scene.

Josslyn Interrupted Carly And Jason Searching Brennan’s Room

Meanwhile, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) became suspicious after discovering that someone had searched Jack’s room, suspecting it might have been Valentin.

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) defended her boyfriend, noting that he had been with her, searching Drew’s office when the security system went down, and suggested to Jason that Valentin had uncovered something that could be used against Drew.

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) arrived, having rushed out of the Cat’s Eye Lounge when she couldn’t reach Jack. Carly explained that the hotel’s security system had been compromised, and they were checking Jack’s room to see if he was behind the breach or if he was its target.

Josslyn Reported Jack’s Disappearance To The WSB

Josslyn was certain that her boss was the intended target since Jack had missed a scheduled debrief, which was unusual for him.

This raised Carly’s suspicions, leading her to question the need for a debrief if Josslyn was set to take over her father’s company.

Realizing she had been caught in a falsehood, Joss stammered that she wasn’t completely cutting ties with the WSB.

She then called Brennan’s assistant to verify that his black box was still in the office. After some hesitation, she reported Jack’s disappearance to the WSB.

Charlotte Panicked

Meanwhile, Charlotte was in a panic over her bracelet, which had her initial on it and was missing. The last time she remembered having it was at the Metro Court pool, just before she and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) discovered Jack’s body.

Fearing that the bracelet could link them to Brennan’s death, Charlotte wanted to go back and find it. However, Danny reassured her that items often ended up in the pool and that the “C” on the bracelet was quite common.

Just then, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) arrived at the boathouse with Outback, the dog he was watching while Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) were away at a book convention.

Danny Admitted He’d “Borrowed” Chase’s Truck

When Chase asked who had stolen his truck and caused the dent, Charlotte feigned ignorance, but Danny admitted to it-Chase reprimanded Danny for the crime, and Outback dashed out of the boathouse and into the woods.

Chase told Charlotte to search for the dog and informed Danny that he had no option but to discuss the car theft with Jason. Flustered, Danny took full blame for taking both the speedboat and Jason’s truck.

But  Chase was taken aback when the teen insisted he wasn’t responsible for taking Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase’s (Amanda Setton) BMW and damaging it.

Meanwhile, Charlotte discovered Outback digging in the spot where Drew and Ava had just buried Jack’s body but managed to coax the beagle away before anything was revealed.

Valentin And Anna Did Target Practice

In an effort to distract Anna from her worries, Valentin took her to the shooting range to reconnect with her past.

After playfully suggesting that her shooting skills might have declined, Anna proved him wrong by showcasing her impressive aim.

However, she expressed her sorrow that she was no longer the same woman Valentin had first encountered at the WSB academy, a time before she had crossed paths with Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).

Valentin reminded her that she was still alive while Faison was not, but Anna pointed out that Faison’s presence in her memories left her open to manipulation.

Anna Talked More About Her Faison Vulnerability

She mentioned that this vulnerability came from those wishing to emulate him, particularly his children, Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).

Valentin argued that he couldn’t be sure of Cassius and Britt’s guilt, but it was Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) who had truly traumatized her.

With both Cullum and Cassius now gone, they could no longer inflict pain on Anna-urging her to concentrate on the present and move past Faison, Anna expressed her desire to stay for more shooting practice.

Valentin offered to remain with her, but she retorted that she didn’t require a babysitter. Softening her tone, Anna expressed her gratitude for his friendship, and Valentin assured her that he would always be there for her.

Lucas Asked Britt To Join Him At The Bar

When Ava was a no-show to meet Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) at the Metro Court bar, he called Britt to join him for drinks.

Lucas updated her on his new living arrangements with Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett)  but, based on her prickly encounter with the detective when she’d been in custody at the PCPD, Britt thought Lucas was making a mistake by taking him on as a roommate.

Britt opened up about her and Jason’s reunion, smiling that they were finally on the same page with their relationship.

Glad things were going so well, Lucas said Britt and Jason both deserved happiness after everything they’d been through.

Ava And Drew Met Back At The Metro Court

Across the room, Ava and Drew sat down at a table to establish their alibi; spotting his aunt, Lucas approached the table and teased her about forgetting they’d had plans.

Taking the blame, Drew cryptically shared that Ava had been helping him with a project and praised her quick thinking. Ava replied that if it all worked out, “It would definitely have been a joint effort.”

Back at the bar, Britt received a call from Anna, who claimed she’d heard back from her source about Cassius.

Anna added that she’d be in touch with a meeting location… as she admired the near-perfect bullet holes in the paper silhouette she’d used earlier for target practice.

Brook Lynn Congratulated Gio, While He Gave A Surprise To Emma

Following Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza)  and Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) first set at the Cat’s Eye Lounge, Brook Lynn congratulated her son and his singing partner on a great set.

Gio thought it was a bad sign that Simon Craft (Grady Eldridge) left before the set was done, but Brook Lynn relayed a message from the producer that they’d done a great job.

Gio surprised Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruener) with a weekend getaway to Montreal, and when Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) told Trina that Quinn (Jequan Jackson) had raved about her performance, she said she was looking forward to getting to know him better.

Kai also noted that he’d filmed the set so Trina could share the video with her family.

Hudson Asked Questions About Phoebe

Trina confided that she was struggling with how well her life was going while things were so bad for her father. But Kai didn’t think Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner)  would want Trina to hold herself back.

After Josslyn took off, Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel)  joined Brook Lynn at a table and peppered her with seemingly innocent questions about Phoebe Chase (Lucia and Luna Creighton).

Hudson was surprised to learn that Brook Lynn only recently learned that Gio was her son. Brook Lynn marveled at how fortunate she was to have two incredible children and a wonderful husband.
