Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) told Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) she needed evidence supporting Curtis’s claim that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) ordered the attack before issuing an arrest warrant.

She recalled Sonny’s promise not to target Sidwell; Dante informed Justine that Sidwell might not survive surgery, potentially elevating charges from aggravated assault to murder, relaying Curtis’s account that the attackers acted on Sonny’s orders.

When Justine suggested one of Sidwell’s enemies might be framing Sonny, Dante questioned whether she wanted his father exonerated; Justine maintained she wouldn’t charge anyone without complete facts.

Rocco Makes A Plea To Sonny

Rocco reached out to Sonny, asking him to reconcile with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to prevent Drew from restricting his and Scout Cain’s (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) contact.

Sonny explained to his grandson that tensions with Drew would likely intensify due to a contentious business dispute, cautioning Rocco to brace himself for potentially reduced time with Scout.

Ric burst in and privately pressed Sonny about whether he’d enlisted Vito (Sam Duffy) to orchestrate the assault, which Sonny flatly rejected.

When Joe arrived to interrogate Sonny, Ric attempted to deflect the detective. He disclosed that Curtis had identified Sonny as the one who’d dispatched the attackers.

Sonny Denies Ordering The Attack

Following Joe’s departure, Sonny revealed to Ric that he’d tasked Vito with contacting Sully (uncredited), one of his connections inside Pentonville.

Since Sonny had transitioned to legitimate business, he wanted Sully to safeguard the other inmate, recognizing that he’d face blame if anything befell Sidwell.

Ric questioned whether Sully had deliberately ignored the directive, yet Sonny insisted Sully remained faithful and that his instructions to Vito had been unmistakable.

Confronted with being implicated in an attack he hadn’t authorized, Sonny grew anxious. He feared those closest to him would doubt his claim that he’d left the mob behind.

Monet Targets Curtis

At G.H., Monet entered Curtis’s room posing as his lawyer from Miller & Davis, offering to review his case for a potential appeal without revealing her connection to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).

When Curtis questioned her motives, Elizabeth arrived and asked the stranger to leave so her patient could rest. Monet later gave Elizabeth her business card for Curtis.

Meanwhile, Joe reported to Justine and Dante that he’d obtained video footage from Pentonville’s visiting room. The footage revealed that two of Sonny’s associates-Vito and Sully-had visited an inmate, leaving Justine shocked.

Danny Turns On Rocco

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) comforted Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn)  after Charlotte Cassadine’s (Bluesy Burke)  departure, explaining that time apart was necessary given the risks they’d been taking.

He advised Danny to respect Charlotte’s parents’ decision and refuse if she asked for help escaping boarding school. Danny disagreed.

Later, Danny called Rocco to the boathouse, asking him to convince Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) to bring Charlotte home and blaming Rocco for her troubles.

Rocco countered that Danny had encouraged Charlotte until she’d adopted his problems, telling him to look in the mirror.

Britt Swears Off Romance

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) avoided answering about Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and her feelings for him when Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) arrived at Lucas Jones’ (Van Hansis) apartment, giving her an exit.
