‘General Hospital’ Recap September 3: Drew Frames Nina, Brennan’s Body Vanishes & Josslyn Gets New Orders

General Hospital recap for Thursday, September 3 reveal Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) confronted Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) was briefed.

Plus, after Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) came clean about “borrowing” and damaging Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) truck, he was reprimanded.

Nina Confronted Ava

At the Metro Court restaurant, Ava met with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to ensure they were aligned regarding the events involving Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) from the previous night.

With the hotel security cameras down and the likelihood of anyone investigating the nature preserve being slim, they concluded that Jack’s disappearance wouldn’t be traced back to them.

A furious Nina approached their table, clearly upset by Ava’s presence with Drew.

After a heated exchange of insults between Drew and Nina, he left. Nina reiterated her warning for Ava to stay away from him.

Nina Found A Tick On Ava’s Head As Drew Broke Into Nina’s Car

As their conversation continued, Ava kept scratching her head, and her horror escalated when Nina found a tick behind her ear, a souvenir from the grim task of burying Jack’s body in the woods.

Meanwhile, Drew was busy breaking into Nina’s car, recalling the moment he secretly took Brennan’s wallet before disposing of him in the grave.

He also remembered Nina pushing his wheelchair into the lake. With a smirk, he tucked Jack’s wallet under the car seat and declared, “Payback’s a bitch!”

Valentin And Charlotte Went To Carly’s For Breakfast

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) visited Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) home for breakfast.

While Charlotte played with Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears), Carly informed Valentin about Jack’s disappearance. With the security cameras compromised, Jack’s whereabouts were unknown.

However, since he vanished shortly after a confrontation in Carly’s office, Valentin suspected Jack might have faked his disappearance to frame him. 

After overhearing, Charlotte excused herself to see Danny; returning to the topic, Carly noted that Valentin had a strong alibi, having been at the shooting range with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

Josslyn Was Briefed

After Josslyn informed the WSB about Jack’s disappearance, Agent William Baines (Alimi Ballard) met her at the Port Charles field office. He declared that he would be taking charge of the search for Chief Brennan.

Baines directed her to continue her role as CEO of Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) Enterprises.

When Josslyn expressed her confusion about being assigned to a desk job, Baines explained that the bureau had a vested interest in the company, and once she gathered inside information regarding JJE’s subsidiary holdings, she would receive further instructions.

Baines Asked What Josslyn Knew About Brennan’s Disappearance

Baines requested an update on what Josslyn had discovered regarding Brennan’s disappearance. He then  mentioned that it was plausible Jack had fled due to his failure during the Spoon Island mission.

As Baines reviewed the file she had compiled on Jack, Josslyn urged him to allow her to assist in the investigation.

She cited her personal connections to some individuals involved, which could prove beneficial. She then disclosed that her mother had seen a public confrontation between Jack and Nina Reeves.

Danny Was Reprimanded

At the boathouse, Danny admitted to Jason that he had “borrowed” Chase’s truck to take Charlotte for a ride, resulting in a dent from a guard post.

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) understood Danny’s thrill from speeding, as he and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) were similar, but he emphasized the dangers of such behavior.

Jason grounded Danny from driving for six months and required him to cover the repair costs for the truck and speedboat.

When Charlotte arrived, Danny expressed regret for endangering them both, but she reassured him that she wanted to be with him.

She then revealed that Carly and Valentin believed Brennan was still alive, leading the teens to realize that someone must have moved Jack’s body after they had seen him dead in the pool.

Jason, Carly And Valentin Talked About Danny’s Joyride, Jack’s Disappearance And Anna

Back at Carly’s residence, Jason expressed his apologies to Valentin regarding the joyride Danny had taken Charlotte on the previous night.

Valentin was grateful for the update and requested that any punishment Jason decided on for his son should not involve separating him from Charlotte, as Danny has been a good friend to her.

Carly and Valentin updated Jason on their theory concerning Jack, mentioning that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) served as Valentin’s alibi.

Jason inquired about Anna’s well-being and was taken aback when Valentin mentioned that she suspected Cesar Faison’s (Britt Westbourne) children might be connected to the events that transpired with her. Valentin had been taken aback by that, as well.

Sonny And Justine Talked About Their Relationship

In a secret meeting at the studio apartment, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) reminisced about the enjoyable time they had, albeit separately, during his family’s BBQ, along with Donna’s matchmaking efforts for them.

Sonny once again urged Justine to make their relationship public now that he was on the up and up, but she remained resistant.

He proposed that they take vacations to the same destination, where they could serendipitously cross paths, and Justine agreed to consider it. For now, they would continue to rendezvous in their hidden retreat.

Chase And Joe Compared Notes

At the PCPD, Chase and Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) reviewed the evidence surrounding the car accident involving Curtis and Jordan Ashford (Donnell Turner, Tanisha Harper), as they both had lingering questions.

They reached the conclusion that either Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) or Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) was not being honest about their observations that night.

 Joe was  leaning more towards the belief that Lucy was not telling the truth.

Drew’s name came up as well, and the fact he changed his story on the stand. This, combined with Danny’s offhand remark about not being the one who damaged Brook Lynn’s car, led Chase to start questioning his wife’s honesty.
