Sonny and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) summoned Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to confirm he hadn’t authorized the Pentonville assault; they suspected either miscommunication between Vito and Sully (uncredited), or Vito’s betrayal of Sonny.

Determined to identify who turned Vito against him, Sonny tasked Ric with pressuring Curtis to recant his statement and warn that he’d punish whoever framed him.

Privately, Sonny confided to Jason his anxiety that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), Laura Collins (Genie Francis), and others would now doubt his credibility after claiming he was leaving the criminal world.

A bruised Danny arrived and recounted his altercation with Rocco. Jason and Sonny urged Danny to preserve their friendship, but Danny insisted it was finished.

Curtis Blames Sonny

Curtis told Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) that Sonny had ordered a beating on Sidwell, leaving him as collateral damage.

Outraged by Sonny’s unchanged nature, Jordan resolved to transfer Curtis to Spring Ridge minimum-security prison for protection and vowed Sonny would face consequences.

However, Curtis noted the lack of evidence-it was his word against his attackers with no proof linking Sonny to the assault.

When Ric arrived, he denied his brother ordered the attack and suggested they investigate without being “hindered by the PCPD’s misguided investigation.”

Curtis refused to protect Sonny, insisting he wouldn’t retract his statement under any circumstances.

Michael Helps Jordan

At the Aurora office, Jordan conveyed to Michael the troubling news that Curtis had sustained severe injuries and that Sonny was the one responsible for the attack.

Michael found himself perplexed and confused about why his father would have authorized such a violent attack against Sidwell or why he would involve Curtis in such a dangerous situation.
