Today On General Hospital!

General Hospital recaps for Friday, September 5 reveal Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) got new intel, Emily “Scout” Cain (Cosette Abinante) again went missing, and Collete Moreau (Mercedes Renard Lopez) was busted!

Also, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) discussed defense plans, S. Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) worried for their lives and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was shot at!

Defense Strategies And Coffee

While having coffee at Café Cherie with Sonny, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) jokingly asked if she should start preparing a defense for him, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), or Michael.

Sonny believed that Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) situation didn’t involve him, but Diane was concerned that the PCPD might investigate his whole family due to the ongoing conflict with the congressman.

Shifting topics, Sonny asked Diane to gather information on Judge Eva Heran’s (Tessa Auberjounois) murder, and then updated her on Drew’s bribery claim.

Sonny found it intriguing that the judge’s body was discovered at Pier 55, right across from Spoon Island. “Do you think Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is to blame?” Diane asked.

No Can Do

As Sonny’s lawyer, he anticipated that Diane would provide details regarding Sidwell. However, she responded that it was impossible because Jenz was also a client of her firm.

Instead, she recommended that Sonny collect information on Sidwell directly — and promptly, she urged, before the authorities discover the payment in Heran’s bank account and assume it originated from Michael.

Viewers might recall that Jenz’ son, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) is also a new employee at the Miller and Davis law firm. That creates a second conflict of interest for either Diane or Alexis to look for this intel for Sonny.

Michael Gets A Blood Test While Lulu’s Out For A Scoop From Willow

At the hospital,  Michael received an update from Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) that Drew was in critical but stable condition. He was pleased to learn that Willow Tait (Katleyn MacMullen) was doing as well as could be expected.

After thanking Liz for taking care of Willow, he went to the 8th floor for bloodwork-meanwhile, across the hub, Willow turned down an interview request from Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins).

When the reporter urged her to speak off the record, seeking the nurse’s view on who might have been the shooter, Willow suggested that Michael and Sonny could be involved. Before leaving, Lulu asked Willow to remember her if she ever wanted to share her story officially.

Michael Gets New Intel

While waiting for his appointment, Michael read an article by Lulu in the Port Charles Press about the possible shooter of Drew.

Focusing on the images of Drew taking body shots off a sex worker from a few months ago, Michael remembered the night before, having recognized Jacinda, (Paige Herschell) at the bar.

He thought back to their chat about her recent trip to Australia, which was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but now she was out of money. Later, when Michael saw Lulu, he inquired about how he could locate the woman featured in the article.

Michael had been looking for her to be his alibi on the night of Drew’s shooting, and the bartender couldn’t help him.

Alexis Gets Bad News

Alexis, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos), and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) wanted to have the restraining order lifted so Scout could live with them.

While Molly was away arguing their case with the judge, Kristina warned that bringing Scout home was a bad idea, as they were keeping Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) locked up in the basement. When Molly returned, she informed Alexis that the judge had rejected their request.

Additionally, due to the legal papers Drew and Willow signed while they were together, emergency custody of the tween was granted to Willow. “But I’m the legal next of kin,” Alexis protested; “Willow doesn’t even have custody of her own kids!”

Alexis Heads To The Hospital With Scout’s Things While Kristina Frets

Overwhelmed with despair, Alexis gathered a bag filled with Scout’s belongings and made her way to the hospital to deliver it to Willow.

Left alone with Molly, Kristina worried that Willow might prevent them from seeing Scout, recalling how she had told her that she didn’t deserve to be part of her children’s lives.

Molly rebuked her sister for once again speaking thoughtlessly and dismissed a call from Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). The two continued to talk about Scout’s situation and Kristina’s impulsiveness.

Portia And Nina Discuss The Drew Situation

In Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) office, she and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) talked about the timing of Drew’s attempted murder, which occurred shortly after they had drinks at the Brown Dog.

Observing that the police had already interviewed Willow as part of their investigation, Nina mentioned that she had taken a walk with Willow in the rain.

Reading between the lines, Portia appreciated how lucky it was for Nina that Willow had gone from avoiding her to, less than an hour later, walking together in a storm.

Nina responded that Portia was also quite lucky, as the only individuals aware of her private disdain for Drew were Nina, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). As they were in the middle of their conversation, they were interrupted.

Lulu Interrupts, Digging For News

Their chat was cut short by Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening), who sought a statement from Portia regarding Stella Henry’s (Vernée Watson) arrest.

Portia gave a standard reply and then attempted to send Lulu away, but the persistent reporter also wanted to discuss the issue between Drew and Curtis.

After Portia dismissed her, Lulu figured she should still approach Curtis for his thoughts, which made Portia look worried.

Soon after Lulu departed, Nina and Portia were interrupted by another knock at the door. This time, it was Jacinda, who insisted on more money.

Felicia Delivers The News That Scout Is Missing

Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) told Willow that she had talked to Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight. According to the legal documents Drew had, Willow was named Scout’s legal guardian because Drew was unable to care for her.

Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) invited Scout and Willow to her home, and  Alexis came with some of Scout’s things.

She explained the situation regarding the restraining order and pleaded with Willow to look after her granddaughter.

Just as Liz and Willow assured that Scout was safe, Felicia came with the news that Scout had disappeared from the Lila’s Kids end-of-summer sleepover.

Anna Confronts Jack Over The Missing Josslyn

Frustrated with Colette’s defiance, Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) transferred her to the WSB field office in Algiers. While Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) listened from the hallway, Colette criticized Jack for sending her away to hide his failed operation and the loss of two agents.

As Anna entered Jack’s office right after Colette left, she asked, “Is one of those missing agents Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy)?”

Jack dismissed the disappearances of Josslyn and Vaughn as a minor issue he was addressing, claiming he would ensure Josslyn returned safely, advising  Anna to concentrate on the ongoing investigations at the PCPD.

He also mentioned casually that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) had spent the night with him, giving Anna an alibi for both of them.

Colette’s Busted

After Anna’s comment, she asked Jack why he had called her to his office; he hesitated, saying he didn’t want to load her with secrets she couldn’t share.  Anna accused him of using her as a piece in his game-promising to get back at him later, she stormed out.

Once Brennan was gone, Colette sneaked in and tried to open the black box as she called someone-when the code failed, Colette told her contact that they had been deceived.

She searched through Jack’s desk for anything about Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) , but finding nothing, Colette hung up to exit the office before Jack came back.

Just as she prepared to leave, Jack entered-with gun drawn, he told Colette she would be sent to a black site instead of Algiers unless she revealed who she was working with.

Vaughn And Joss Feared For Their Life-A Last Minute Reprieve

Bound together after their failed escape, Vaughn and Josslyn talked about how they lost the opportunity for her to flee.

While Josslyn criticized herself for once again failing their mission, Vaughn blamed himself for endangering her life as a new recruit. They both agreed they needed to escape and inform Brennan about the mole in the WSB.

Later, Pascal (Marc Forget) informed the agents that because they had given him a false code for the black box, he had devised a deadly  plan.

Honeymooners ‘Mr. and Mrs. Nash’  were to be tragically lost at sea due to a boating accident — but someone higher up decided they were still needed.

Jason Shot At

After returning to the Five Poppies, Jason asked Pascal if Greta Larsen (Cecily Elliott) was still staying at the resort, and the manager offered to send her a message. While Jason was settling into his room, an assassin emerged from around the corner and shot at him!

Jason was able to take down Pascal’s henchman, and during their struggle for the gun, he shot the attacker.

Taking a room key card from the man’s pocket, Jason realized that Pascal had set him up-after getting rid of the body, he headed to Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) room.

She was missing, but he found a note Britt had left with directions on how to find her, directing him  to the lab, where he was stunned by what he discovered inside!
