General Hospital Recap & Spoilers Friday, May 15: A Special Day For Mike, Maxie Struggles, Plus A Look Back At Lucy’s Balls

Welcome to your Friday May 15th General Hospital recap – we begin our day at the Corinthos mansion, where Mike Corbin (Max Gail) is looking at photos of the family. Overlaid audio is of his son Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) talking about cherishing our memories and history.

Sonny and his sons Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) , walk into the living room dressed up. They say they have a surprise as next shot takes us to a fancy party at the Metro Court hotel.

They walk into the lobby that has been remade to look like “Luke’s” old nightclub. We see Monica, Bobbie, Scott and others all dressed up for the jazz club theme.

Mike Corbin (Max Gail) is ecstatic by the recreation of his old haunt as Sonny asks him if he would like to “run it.” Mike goes behind the bar as Olivia Falconeri (Lisa Locicero) approaches and introduces herself. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) walks over as Michael and Carly thank him for the idea of setting up the old club.

Bobbie, Kevin and Monica reminisce about their first times at the hospital

Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) asks Monica Quartermaine), Bobbie Spencer (Jaclyn Zeman) and Kevin Collins about their first times working at General Hospital (GH). We get a bw flashback ow when Audrey met Dr Hardy for the first time in the 1950s. The four of them do a toast.

General Hospital Updates: Maxie is depressed and doesn’t want to go out

At Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) apartment she is on the couch when theres a knock at the door. Its her parents Mac Scorpio (John York) and Felicia Jones (Kristina Wagner) trying to convince her to come to Luke’s.

Bobbie arrives at Maxies to try and convince her to come to the party. She reminds Maxie about when BJ died in the school bus crash.

ABC General Hospital Spoilers: Lucy has some memories of Port Charles past

Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) approaches Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and tells him he always has the best ideas. Lucy runs into Felicia and they discuss her many Nurses balls hits and misses. We get flashes back to the balls over the years.

Bobbie and Scott reminisce about his family On General Hospital

At a table in the “club” Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) says he understands what Sonny is doing for Mike. Talking to Bobbie he flashes back to the 80s when he did not always get along with his dad Lee. Bobbie remembers when her troubled brother Luke first came to town.

Ned is going to perform as Eddie and has some memories of his own.  Olivia asks Ned Ashton (Wally Kurth) if hes ready to sing as Eddie soon, he reminisces about how Lila always kept grandpa Edward in line.  Eddie ala Ned Ashton gets on the stage and performs for the enthusiastic crowd.

Sonny and Anna have a candid conversation about the past

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) arrives at the party and sees Sonny Corinthos. They flashback to when Robin dated Stone who died of HIV in the 90s.
