Lulu Spencer Freaked Out

Lulu was in a panic when she discovered that Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzn) had taken Jason’s speedboat to Egret Island under the cover of darkness.

This led her to storm into Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) kitchen. She confronted Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) about his failure to keep an eye on their daughter.

Carly, however, urged her cousin to focus on her own life and stop trying to control Charlotte, while Valentin suggested that Lulu should consider dating again or find a new hobby to fill her time.

Unfortunately, their words fell on deaf ears, and Lulu left in a huff.

Carly Spencer’s Realization

Afterward, Carly confided in Valentin that witnessing Lulu so frazzled made her realize the importance of giving Josslyn the freedom to make her own choices, just as she had at that age.

Valentin then asked Carly to remind him of her sage advice in six years when Charlotte would be the same age as Josslyn is now, facing her own decisions.

Moved by the thought, Carly pondered whether they would still be part of each other’s lives at that time. Valentin responded that he hoped they would still be together if it were up to him.

Ric Lansing Spirals

After misunderstanding the situation between Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and a half-naked Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) in Liz’s living room, a disheartened Ric handed her the bouquet of roses he had brought and left.

Dante felt guilty for Ric’s misinterpretation, prompting Liz to discuss Ric’s insecurities. She recognized that Ric had improved but hoped his issues wouldn’t affect their future.

When Liz sighed that Dante didn’t need to hear her complaints, he joked that it was his turn after she had listened to his worries about Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) for months.

Elizabeth wished Ric would see he had nothing to fear because she wanted to be with him.

Ric’s Warning

Dante encouraged her to give Ric time to come around, and they raised a toast to a hopeful outcome. Meanwhile, Ric had Lulu meet him at the pool.

He unloaded about what he saw between Elizabeth and Dante and proposed the two of them work together to stop whatever connection was growing between their exes before they lost the loves of their lives.

Lulu thought Ric was reading into something that wasn’t there and said that coming up with crazy theories would only push Elizabeth away.

Lulu pointed out that Elizabeth wouldn’t be with him if she didn’t want to be, but Ric worried that his girlfriend hadn’t yet realized she’d rather be with someone else.

Josslyn Jacks Crashes A Date

General Hospital recaps for Thursday, August 20 hint that Josslyn interrupted Britt and Jason’s date at the boathouse, confronting Britt for her involvement with Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) in his impersonation of Nathan West (Ryan Paevey).

Josslyn angrily pointed out that by revealing to him that she was a WSB agent, Britt had contributed to Cassius’s abduction of her and had nearly caused her death.

In her defense, Britt claimed she had no idea what her brother was capable of.

After exposing Britt, Josslyn assumed Jason would agree with her perspective and expressed her frustration. She stated it was only a matter of time before Britt betrayed him as well.

Britt Westbourne’s Defense

Once they were alone, Jason sought to hear Britt’s version of events; she maintained that she had only shared the truth about Josslyn with Cassius to safeguard her brother.

Jason pressed her on why she never revealed Cassius’s true identity to him-Britt explained that she believed her brother’s secret would remain with her, and she was aware that Jason would try to intervene.

She never anticipated that Cassius would go so far as to kidnap Josslyn, but she acknowledged that this might be an inexcusable error in Jason’s eyes.

Trusting Britt’s explanation, Jason inquired if there were any other secrets she was keeping from him. Britt assured him that was all there was, and they both committed to making their relationship work.

Tristan Roberts & Anna Devane Share A Drink

Eager to learn more about the WSB icon Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) approached her at the Metro Court pool.

He shared his background as a former field operative turned WSB physician. Anna commended Tristan for stepping away from the bureau to pursue a more honest life.

When he inquired whether she felt pride or regret about her time with the WSB, Anna reflected that she no longer placed the bureau’s goals above her family’s well-being, emphasizing her commitment to ensuring their safety at all costs.

Anna Introduced Tristan To Josslyn

Josslyn made her way to meet Anna, who was eager to introduce her to Tristan. Upon seeing Josslyn, the doctor immediately recognized her name as one of the bureau’s promising talents.

In their conversation, Josslyn revealed to him that the official narrative surrounding the Spoon Island operation was far from the complete truth.

Tristan, with a thoughtful expression, advised Josslyn to concentrate on the positive impact she had made.

Meanwhile, Anna offered a word of caution, reminding Josslyn to always stay true to herself, especially during missions where she might lose her sense of direction and struggle to find her way back.

Curtis Ashford Preps For Prison

Before surrendering, Curtis attended an AA meeting at the hospital with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn); having experienced prison herself, Alexis provided him with advice on how to maintain his sobriety during his incarceration.

Curtis committed to being an exemplary inmate so he could reunite with his family when he became eligible for parole.

Meanwhile, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) met at his cabin.

They talked about how Curtis’s prison term would affect Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Desmond Robinson Ashford (Yireh Aviah Lafond).

With a positive outlook on his hand’s recovery, Isaiah chose to withdraw the civil lawsuit against Curtis, believing this could be the first step toward achieving peace for everyone involved.
