'General Hospital' Recap Thursday, July 3: Willow and Wiley's Heartbreak & Maxie Finds BLQ's Britt FileGeneral Hospital recaps for Thursday, July 3 reveal Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) gave a history lesson about Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).

Plus, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) went on a rescue mission and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) did detective duty.

Emma’s History Lesson

At the coffee shop, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) discuss Britt. Danny believes they should move on, but Rocco can’t shake off thoughts of the woman who could be his mother; Emma arrives and they inquire about Britt. (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)

She responds that no one could tolerate her… except for her father, who eventually came to terms with her madness, then, she ended up pregnant.

The boys assume it was with Rocco, as Emma has an epiphany. Emma suggests that Rocco should speak to his parents about it and leaves, reassuring Rocco that there must be more to the story than she is aware of.

Tracy And Maxie Discuss Deception Cosmetics’ Finances, Maxie Arrives

Tracy and Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton) are at the Quartermaine’s, waiting for Maxie Jones (temporarily played by Nicole Paggi) to discuss how to save Deception.

Tracy mentions they can manage that while she handles Gio-Brook Lynn is concerned that if she pushes Gio away from Sonny, it will only drive him further from her.

They argue about the potential threat Sonny poses to Gio; Tracy reminds her that mobsters often target each other’s families during conflicts.

Maxie arrives, and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) lets her in, thanking her for organizing the christening; it has given him hope for his family’s future.

He informs her that Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) is doing well, as are the kids-he is optimistic about achieving stability.

Maxie Finds The File On Britt

Maxie meets Brook Lynn, who tells her that Sonny’s investment money was tainted and that Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) is dead. Maxie believes they should report this to the police and provide all their records-she is committed to doing everything possible to safeguard the company.

They walk around discussing how Tracy will never let them forget this-when Maxie picks up the wrong file, she discovers the documents Brook Lynn has on Britt.

Brook Lynn confesses that this was meant to be part of her revenge against Lulu-she clarifies that she wanted to verify if Rocco was Britt’s child. Maxie inquires if she showed Rocco the file; Brook Lynn decided against it because she didn’t want to hurt him.

Willow Shows Up At The Metro Court Pool And Talks To Gio, Kai And Trina

Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) runs into Gio at the pool and expresses her regret for what happened to him-she understands how it feels to be betrayed.

Meanwhile, Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) are hanging out by the pool, flirting with each other. As they talk about where to see the fireworks, Willow interrupts them.

She mentions that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is in DC and tells Kai how much Drew has admired his work and appreciates his extra effort. Kai plays it down, saying he just did his job.

Trina Warns Kai About The Quartermaines

Once Willow leaves, Trina advises Kai to keep his distance from the Quartermaines, claiming they will drive him mad; he argues that his focus is solely on politics.

She cautions him against getting caught in the crossfire. Then, she shifts her concern to her parents, unsure why she feels this way since they weren’t together during her childhood.

He believes that everyone wants to have faith in commitments, and she explains how difficult it is to trust. He responds that she is worth taking the chance; she never imagined she would feel this way again, but he is worth it.

Michael’s Disturbed Seeing Willow Watching Wiley

Willow is seated by the pool, observing as Michael brings Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) in for his swimming lesson. After enjoying some time in the water with his son, Michael assists him out of the pool; Willow remains in her spot, and as soon as Wiley sees her, he rushes over.

Michael quickly attempts to guide his son away, while Willow expresses to her son how much she misses him and wishes the judge would change her decision soon.

As Michael leads Wiley away, the young boy protests, saying he doesn’t want to wait for the silly judge; he wants to see his mommy right now.

Tracy’s Rescue Mission

Tracy arrives to meet Gio, and she quickly informs him that she believes his life is at risk-he listens as she updates him on Kristina’s near-death experience due to Sonny.

She is determined not to lose him; he responds that she does not possess him and never will. Emma arrives and asks them to calm down, as Tracy pushes Gio to return to the house for his safety, and argues that he is secure living at Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes).

Tracy highlights Sonny and the PCPD’s history with violence-Gio understands that this is all about him rejecting his grandfather and refuses to do so.

Tracy won’t force him but recommends he stop by what remains of Charlie’s and then visit Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) grave after he finishes working.

Laura And Lulu Discuss What’s Happening In Port Charles

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) visits Lulu’s home, and they discuss the escalating mob conflict; Lulu expresses her concern, stating it appears dire-she encourages her mother to distance herself from Sonny.

Laura believes that would only fracture the family further; Lulu suggests that her mom could simply lie about it.

However, her mother reminds her that Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) is observing her and could reveal the truth; and what impact would that have on Rocco?

Moreover, Laura senses there is more to the situation-Lulu is anxious that she is lagging behind Boyle in the polls. To protect Port Charles, she must remain in the mayor’s office.

Lulu And Laura Continue To Discuss The Situation, Rocco Arrives After His Grandmother Leaves

Lulu asks her mother, how far is she willing to go to achieve this? Laura shares that Sonny cautioned her about Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) bringing violence into the city.

She remains unfazed by intimidation tactics; Lulu believes that if she loses her position, she will merely empower Boyle.

Laura indicates that she must be extremely strategic about her next decision or the situation will deteriorate. Once the mayor departs, Rocco arrives and demands answers from his mother about Britt.

Sonny’s Not Answering Questions

At the PCPD, Sonny informs ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) that he will not speak without his attorney present-Turner says that’s the reason for her presence.

She clarifies that anything he says in the absence of Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will be deemed inadmissible; this is his prime chance to explain what happened.

She elaborates on the arrangement she made with Natalia to betray him, and Sonny asserts that the incident has nothing to do with him.

He implies that she might be feeling remorseful for having gotten Natalia killed-they engage in a heated exchange over this, with her maintaining that she provided Natalia with an excellent offer.

The ADA is convinced that either Natalia took her own life or Sonny orchestrated her murder, and he claims that Turner contributed to her demise.

Turner Ceases Her Interrogation, Laura Shows Up

Sonny responds to Turner by saying that one can never fully grasp what drives an individual. How Natalia dealt with her problems was her own obligation. Turner feels a shift and concedes that there are no additional questions before departing.

After Turner leaves, Laura arrives and inquires about what he knows regarding Sidwell’s intentions. Meanwhile, at Sonny’s place, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is conversing on the phone with Diane, who informs him that the police are preventing her from visiting Sonny.

Dante’s Detective Duty

Dante arrives and tells Jason that the police suspect Selina Wu (Lydia Look) was responsible for the fire-she has fled the country, and her associates are on the run.

The officer inquires whether he should search for them or if they are already buried in the woods. Jason doubts that Selina was involved in this incident; they both suspect that Sidwell has set her up.

They discuss Natalia’s death, and Dante is confident that Sonny has no connection to it-Jason reflects on how much has changed between he and Dante.

After the officer departs, Jason receives a call and informs the caller that he will let them know when to proceed.
