Plus, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) discussed options over shots, and Dante and Rocco Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna, Finn Carr) had a father-son talk.
Key Takeaways
- Laura was able to get Tracy to stop her complaint against Sidwell’s flight path, which Ezra thought was a huge win.
- Carly and Nina clashed, as Carly believed some sort of investigation should be launched into Willow’s home, as both Drew and Brennan collapsed in the house.
- Nina, in turn, threatened to go to Cullum as she told Carly Valentin was in the house when Brennan collapsed (something Carly knew, but didn’t let her nemesis in on).
- Sonny and Justine ran into each other at the Metro Court Gardens, and talked about the Ric situation. Justine wanted Sonny to give his brother the benefit of the doubt.
- The two were interrupted by WSB Director Ross Cullum, who wanted the evidence on his shooting, pronto – Justine called Dante to warn him about that.
- Dante came clean to Rocco and let him know that he knew Rocco shot Cullum.
- Lucas and Britt bonded over shots.

Tracy Quartermaine Is Upset
AMP in the post
Inside Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) office, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) bristled when the mayor and Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) urged her to drop the injunction against Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) helipad flight path.
Laura confided that she and Ezra were only pretending to back Sidwell, secretly plotting to drive him out of Port Charles.
She urged Tracy to trust her, reminding her that it was what Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) would have wanted.
With a heavy sigh, Tracy agreed to go along with Laura’s scheme, for now. Once Tracy departed, Laura admitted to Ezra that their charade could not last forever; they needed to uncover Sidwell’s true weakness and use it to force him into a costly mistake.
Carly Spencer’s Threat
AMP in the post
At General Hospital, Carly hassled Nina about Jack’s sudden medical crisis, suspicious that it was no accident that both Jack and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) suffered strokes in Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) home.
Carly speculated that something dangerous might be lurking in the house and insisted on an investigation, determined to have both men’s blood tested.
Fidgeting, Nina tried to deflect, dropping news she didn’t realize Carly already knew: Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) had returned to town.
Carly put on a show of surprise, secretly relieved that Nina had no plans to tip off the authorities about the fugitive’s location.
Nina Reeves Covers Her Tracks
Nina explained that Jack and Valentin’s fierce argument might have triggered Brennan’s stroke.
Carly cautioned that if Jack ended up paralyzed like Drew, both the police and the press would dig into the connection between Jack, Drew, and Willow, hinting that Willow could be conspiring with Valentin.
The idea of a scandal swirling around her daughter made Nina uneasy, so she quickly shifted tactics, claiming she suddenly recalled that Valentin and Jack had been fighting about Josslyn Jacks’s (Eden McCoy) whereabouts.
She subtly threatened to share this tidbit with Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), who had already been snooping around the hospital.
Carly relented, suggesting they both avoid crossing paths with the relentless Cullum.
Britt Westbourne’s Shots Suggestion
General Hospital recaps for Thursday, May 14, note that as they shared shots in Britt’s room, she and Lucas wrestled with how to break the news to Sidwell that Cullum was probably Marco Rios’s (Adrian Anchondo) killer.
When Britt realized that confiding in Jenz could put Lucas in real danger, she suggested vanishing from the project entirely.
Lucas refused to let Marco’s sacrifice, in other words, stealing Britt’s medication, be in vain, urging Britt to stay and fight alongside him.
Remembering that Rocco needed her, too, Britt agreed to stay. After a laugh about how their tangled predicament had brought them closer, the two resolved to act normal so no one would suspect the sudden warmth between them.
Sonny Corinthos’s Run-In
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) ran into Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) at the Metro Court Gardens and thanked her for the advice she’d given him about Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst).
Knowing how important it is to have someone you could trust, Justine said she hadn’t wanted Sonny to lose his new relationship with his brother over a misunderstanding.
Cullum then arrived for his meeting with Justine and traded barbs with Sonny before informing Turner that he wanted the evidence the PCPD had gathered from his shooting.
A cold Justine reminded Cullum that her office didn’t control the evidence, so he would need a court order to get it; he complained she was blocking a WSB investigation.
Justine responded by criticizing the agency for how they handled Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) arrest and boldly said she might publicly challenge the WSB’s secret ways, impressing Sonny.

Father-Son Talk
Dante finally reached out to Rocco, breaking the silence with a confession: he knew Rocco had shot Cullum.
He urged his son to tell the story of that night in his own words, promising not to arrest him and pointing to the circumstances that made the crime complicated.
Rocco, anxious, wondered if Britt would support him if he confessed; Dante reminded him that nobody would believe her if she changed her story now.
With a firm warning, Dante told Rocco that no one else could know the truth; Rocco worried that if the secret surfaced, Dante would be implicated for hiding it.
Dante reassured him, vowing to take care of everything and praising Rocco for saving Jason and Britt; then Justine called to say Cullum was searching for evidence from the shooting.
