‘General Hospital’ Recap Thursday, May 28: Sidwell & Willow Clash, Michael Connects The Dots & Molly & Cody Caught

Trina Robinson Trauma Dumps

General Hospital recaps for Thursday, May 28, note that Trina Robinson (Tabyna Ali) talked to Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) about Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) fight with Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson).

Trina revealed how complicated the situation has become now that Isaiah can’t perform life-saving surgery for little Derek (Anias Anozie).

With all the family drama, Trina was thinking about backing out of the musical showcase; however, Gio pointed out that music was a great emotional outlet.

As Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is in Australia (yeah, right), Gio let Trina know that if she ever wanted to talk, she could turn to him. Trina agreed to move forward with the showcase.

Caught In The Act

Across town, Molly and Cody got hot and heavy on Alexis Davis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) since no one was home. Of course, Alexis’s assistant, Suzanne (Jen Ray), had some legal files to drop off and caught them in the act (well, before the act).

This is when Suzanne realized that Cody had to have been the inspiration for the main male character in Molly’s new book.

After some awkward conversation, Suzanne left, and Cody confessed that it wouldn’t be so bad if fans of her book found out that the Casey character sprang from him.

The Quartermaines Help Where They Can

Over at the Q mansion, Brook Lynn informed Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) about Alexis heading to NYC to find out more about Delilah Wilson’s (Lily Cardone) past.

Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) offered to move his wife’s car to allow the ladies to talk when he realized a rattling sound from the passenger’s side (the very side that hit the guardrail!)

Chase went to work, but not before grabbing Amelia Corinthos’ (Sequoia & Serenity Mork Macko) bunny stuffy she left behind. He planned on dropping it off to Willow’s house.

Portia arrived shortly after to ask for help. As Curtis injured Isaiah and he cannot perform the procedure on Derek, she asked if the family could help get the little boy to a hospital in Chicago so another doctor could do the surgery.

BLQ immediately volunteered; however, once a grateful Portia left, Tracy was very upset at her granddaughter and reminded her that she shouldn’t blame herself for what Curtis did. Fans could tell Brook Lynn was feeling mighty guilty!

Curtis Ashford Spills

Meanwhile at Aurora Media, Curtis filled Michael in on everything that’s happened, and how his fight with Isaiah could become a PR disaster.

He also told Michael how he felt like he was provoked, and how he believes that Isaiah was the other driver in a black SUV that left the scene of the crime, which happened six weeks ago.

Curtis hoped he could find a lawyer that could present ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) with a plea deal, but Michael believed that could be risky.

Willow Cain Versus Jenz Sidwell

Elsewhere, General Hospital recaps for the May 28 show note that Willow was in her living room, with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) as she told him she was working on a plan that would get them both out of this mess.

Willow showed genuine regret for the position they were both in. Still, she made it clear that Sidwell was calling the shots.

When Sidwell arrived at the house, Willow expressed how worried she was that both Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) and Drew had developed “locked-in” syndrome at her home and raised the concern that others may get suspicious.

She boldly suggested that they stop injecting Drew.

Sidwell’s phone rang and rushed both Willow and Drew into another room as he took a ‘private’ call from an associate. Sidwell demanded that someone bring Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) back and berated them for not doing so yet.

When Willow returned, she stood up to Sidwell, threatening that he needed her in Congress to do his bidding.

Sidwell replied that they could stop drugging Drew; however, that would mean he’d have to kill him. As he smugly left, he reminded her to keep up the good work to continue funding the WSB, as he implied that the agency was working for him.

After Sidwell left, Willow got emotional and began crying. Chase swung by to drop off Amelia’s stuff bunny, and realizing Willow was a mess, he encouraged her to talk to him.

She then confided that she didn’t want to be married to Drew anymore.

As the show closed, Portia stormed into Curtis’s office and lashed out at her ex. She blamed him for Isaiah’s hand fractures, and pointed out he may never be able to perform surgery again.

When Curtis noted that Isaiah left the crime scene after his and Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) crash, Portia asked him what he’d do when the truth came out, and Isaiah was found innocent.

Then, Michael arrived at the Q mansion only to hear Tracy on the phone with the BMW dealership, berating the service person on the phone about BLQ’s passenger door rattle for six weeks now.

Fans could tell Michael realized that it was Brook Lynn on Highway 91 the night of the accident.
