Drew Worried About Lulu’s Exposé

Drew discovered from Carly that Lulu’s article revealed Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) had administered a paralytic drug to him for months, with the information obtained from Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).

Carly found this amusing and mocked Drew, who angrily left without verifying the claims. Drew then met Ava Jerome (Maura West) at Bad Jen Café to show her the piece.

He worried that Lulu’s suggestion that Willow also drugged Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) could trigger a fresh investigation into the WSB chief’s disappearance and implicate them both.

Uncertain whether to confirm or deny the story, Drew consulted Ava, who advised him to confirm it as their safest strategy to discredit Willow.

Tracy Happily Spread The News To Michael And Brook Lynn

In the Quartermaine kitchen, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) excitedly told Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) about the article.

Michael and Tracy feared Willow would retaliate against their family, and they all hoped the story would finally expose Willow to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

Meanwhile, Chase was with Monet Mitchell (Blythe Howard) discussing his separation when Tracy texted him about The Invader story.

He rushed to the Quartermaine kitchen and accused Tracy, Michael, and Brook Lynn of orchestrating a smear campaign.

Chase Remained Unconvinced

Despite the trio’s denials, Chase remained unconvinced and pledged to prevent them from inflicting further harm on Willow.

Once he departed, Tracy stepped in to console Brook Lynn, who felt crushed knowing Chase continued to stand by his former spouse.

Over at the Quartermaine gatehouse, Willow spiraled into panic about the piece when Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), convinced that Lulu’s reporting was accurate, arrived to extend her support.

Willow broke down and revealed the entire situation to her cousin. She detailed how Sidwell had positioned her in Drew’s congressional role.

Britt Wondered Why Sidwell Would Take That Chance

Britt questioned why Sidwell would expose himself now by admitting to yet another wrongdoing.

She also highlighted that Drew possessed no evidence that Willow had given him drugs, and he certainly wouldn’t damage his pride by validating a narrative that portrayed him as oblivious.

Willow worried that simply having the article published would unleash complications affecting her professional standing and her custody agreement with Michael.

As Britt began proposing strategies for Willow to manage the fallout, Chase walked in. He informed Willow that he suspected Tracy, Michael, and Brook Lynn orchestrated the article and revealed he had a concrete strategy for how they could retaliate.

Jordan Got Curtis’ Blessing

At the hospital, Jordan informed Curtis that Michael had scheduled a facial reconstruction evaluation for her at the prestigious Baden-Baden clinic.

Although she needed to depart for Germany without delay, Jordan hesitated about leaving until Curtis could be transferred to a minimum-security facility.

Recalling his confidential agreement with Willow exchanging Sonny’s cooperation for a complete pardon—Curtis urged Jordan to prioritize her own well-being and seize this transformative opportunity for her facial reconstruction.

With Curtis’s encouragement, Jordan approached Michael to confirm her readiness for the Germany trip. The two of them left the Quartermaine breakfast room to discuss the plans in private.

Monet Laid Out Her Plans

In the meantime, Monet visited Curtis at G.H. and revealed she’d uncovered compelling grounds for an appeal stemming from judicial errors in the jury instructions.

Monet persuaded Curtis to retain her legal services, and following their handshake agreement, she caught him off guard by casually revealing her family connection to Jordan.

“You know, there’s just one more thing. I’m sure it’s not a problem,” Monet said smoothly. “Jordan happens to be my sister.”

Ava Notified Sonny That She Wasn’t Allowing Contact With Avery

Sonny expected to see Avery Corinthos (portrayed by Ava and Grace Scarola), but Ava arrived alone.

She said that after the Pentonville incident, she was preventing him from contacting their impressionable teenage daughter.

Though Sonny denied involvement in Curtis and Sidwell’s assaults, he accepted forgoing this visit for Avery’s benefit while cautioning Ava against future attempts to separate him from his child.

Shortly after, Carly delivered Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears). She reassured her former partner that she didn’t hold him accountable for the Sidwell hit, as that would contradict his legitimate business aspirations.

Carly Supported Sonny

Sonny expressed frustration over widespread doubt, notably from Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).

Without concrete evidence connecting him to the assault, he believed the PCPD lacked sufficient grounds, yet remained concerned about the allegations’ impact on his children.

He mentioned Ava’s decision to restrict Avery’s access and offered Carly an exit, but she remained steadfastly supportive.

Following her departure, Sonny cautioned Donna about potential falsehoods she might encounter at school.

The two shared a touching exchange as Donna affirmed her unwavering faith in him, calling him the greatest father.

Annemarie’s Take

Ava has some nerve keeping Avery away from Sonny when she knows perfectly well that she and Drew set him up for the Sidwell attack. And Chase continuing to defend Willow after everything she’s done is getting harder and harder to understand.
