Willow Cain’s Awakening
A sleepy Willow woke up on Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) couch to find her mom over her, struggling to recall the previous night.
Nina told her that Michael had been worried about Willow’s strange behavior when he arrived home; Willow realized she must have been drugged, likely by Jacinda.
Angry and convinced Michael was involved, Willow promised to gain full custody of Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Sienna Goerisch).
With the coffee cup missing, she decided to go to G.H. for a blood test to link the incident to Michael.
Nina pointed out that the drugging happened after Willow slapped a restraining order on Jacinda, but she failed to persuade her daughter to make peace with Michael instead of retaliating.
Michael Corinthos’ Loss
In the Quartermaine kitchen, Jacinda was shocked when Michael revealed that Wiley and Amelia had been with Willow the night before.
Thanks to Jacinda, Willow almost drove while high on molly with the kids in the car. Michael understood Jacinda didn’t intend to harm his children, but he feared Willow would soon realize Jacinda had drugged her and blame him.
Although Michael disposed of the coffee cup, he was determined to protect his kids and told Jacinda they needed to break up, and she should leave town.
Both heartbroken, they shared a tearful goodbye as Michael gave her money to start anew.
… The Hits Kept On Coming
General Hospital recaps for Tuesday’s show note that not long after, Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) made his way into the kitchen only to discover a despondent Michael.
With a heavy sigh, Michael confided in Gio that the situation was dire and he had an unsettling feeling that it was about to deteriorate even further.
As if on cue, Willow burst into the kitchen, announcing with determination that she was taking full custody of the children … effective immediately!
According to the preview for Wednesday’s episode, she will inform Gio that Michael had Jacinda drug her.
Furthermore, she will assert that she has the ability to prove it, indicating that the drugs were still detectable in her lab test results.
Josslyn Jacks’ New Mission
During breakfast at the Metro Court Gardens, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) told Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) she was ready for her next mission.
However, Jack felt she wasn’t mentally prepared to return to the field and preferred she stay in the office.
Frustrated, Josslyn suggested she might accept her dad’s offer to run JJE, as Jasper Jacks (most recently Ingo Rademacher) wanted her out of the WSB.
Jack found it strange that Jax transferred his company to Josslyn without any prior discussion, so he decided to investigate, despite Josslyn claiming it was just family drama.
Later, Nina called Jack to her condo, expressing concern that Willow might intensify the custody battle with Michael and sought his assistance to prevent it from tearing her family apart.
Valentin Cassadine’s Meeting
General Hospital recaps for August 11 state that Valentin approached Jordan to request a favor, as he had previously saved her life.
Jordan was both surprised and thankful to discover that Valentin had assisted Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) in rescuing her from the vehicle during the accident.
He sought her advice on which of Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) assets to bid on when they became available at auction.
Jordan recommended that he focus on his cargo ships or a phone software company poised for significant growth.
Valentin pressed her for additional insights, and Jordan suggested that he make her an offer to serve as a paid consultant, after which she would determine if it was worth her while.
Cody Bell Romances
Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) arrived at the courthouse with a bouquet in hand, eager to extend his congratulations to Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) on the news that Sidwell was heading to Pentonville.
However, Molly, feeling disheartened, lamented that she had sacrificed her book tour for what seemed to be a fruitless endeavor, as Sidwell had unexpectedly accepted a last-minute plea deal.
This meant that she wouldn’t even have the opportunity to go to trial for what was anticipated to be the most significant case of her career.
Despite her disappointment, Cody remained optimistic, insisting that it was still a victory worth celebrating.
He proposed they spend the day relaxing by the pool, hoping to lift her spirits and make the best of the situation.
Emma Scorpio-Drake’s Disappointment
At the pool, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) caught Gio off guard with an exciting proposal for a camping trip.
However, due to his hectic music schedule, he regrettably had to decline her invitation. Despite feeling let down, Emma maintained a cheerful demeanor, embodying the role of a supportive girlfriend.
When Gio mentioned that he needed to rehearse with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) right after his lifeguard shift, Emma began to understand the extent to which his music career was impacting their relationship. Needless to say, Emma was disappointed.
Deception Talk
Meanwhile, across the deck, Serena Baldwin (Kelly Kruger) was having a conversation with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring).
Serena expressed her belief that Michael wasn’t attempting to take control of Deception, which led her to think that acquiring his shares was unnecessary.
However, Lucy remained skeptical, firmly believing that Michael would always prioritize his family over anything else.
She was convinced that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) would seize the first opportunity to push her out, prompting Lucy to insist on sticking to their original plan.
Siblings Meet
As Cody and Molly made their entrance, Lucy took the opportunity to introduce Serena to her brother.
The siblings quickly made plans to spend time together and get to know each other better. Later on, Cody confided in Molly about his initial expectations regarding Serena.
He admitted that he had anticipated disliking her because of his resentment over her being the sole heir to Dominique Baldwin’s (Shell Danielson) fortune, while their mother had left him nothing.
However, he acknowledged that Molly had helped him shift his perspective, encouraging him to concentrate on the positives in his life rather than dwelling on what he lacked.
