General Hospital recaps for Tuesday, August 25 reveal that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) counseled Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) while Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) helped Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
Also, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) wanted answers from Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) about Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey).
Key Takeaways
- Peter targets Britt.
- Hudson makes a secret call.
- Ric spies on Liz.
- Lucas and Joe become roommates.

Jason Counseled Carly
After Anna’s meltdown at the pool, Jason urged Carly not to assume that the awful experiences Anna faced would also befall Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
He recommended that Carly offer support instead of resistance to her daughter. Carly argued that she wasn’t trying to interfere in Josslyn’s career; she merely wanted to highlight that taking over JJE was a fantastic opportunity.
When Jason cautioned that attempting to manipulate Josslyn could backfire and damage their relationship, Carly conceded, not wanting Joss to feel untrustworthy.

Valentin Helped Anna
As Valentin calmed Anna during her panic attack, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) appeared before her and cautioned her against mentioning his presence.
Anna confided in Valentin that while she was held captive, she was convinced that Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) was alive and would come after her.
She expressed a wish that he had indeed survived, so she could confront that fear and find closure, as she had not experienced any peace since the day she encountered that monster.
Valentin reassured Anna that Faison was dead, but she remained firm in her belief that she and her loved ones were not safe.
Valentin Counseled Anna To Get Treatment For PTSD
Valentin theorized that Anna might be suffering from PTSD and recommended she take a step back to focus on her healing.
However, Anna hesitated, fearing that others would scrutinize her mental health, particularly since she believed the WSB was keeping tabs on her and could potentially have her institutionalized again.
Valentin promised he would do everything in his power to prevent that from happening.
Anna insisted she could manage on her own and planned to seek therapy. When Valentin returned to Carly, he expressed his regret for leaving her alone for such a long time; Carly reassured him that she was grateful Anna had a supportive friend like Valentin.

Liesl Wanted Answers
At the Metro Court Gardens, Liesl expressed to Britt her desire to exonerate Cassius. When she noticed Anna and Valentin, Liesl was resolute in her quest for answers from Anna.
However, Britt disclosed that she was also seeking information regarding her brother’s death. Realizing that her daughter was collaborating with someone linked to the WSB for this information, Liesl pleaded with her not to incur any more debts to the bureau and to concentrate instead on her romantic life and reviving her medical career.
Liesl inquired about the status of Britt and Jason’s relationship and was delighted to learn that they were in love.
Liesl Texted Jason
Liesl then sent a text to Jason, inviting him to join their group, and upon his arrival at the Gardens, she extended an invitation for a Labor Day barbecue.
From her vantage point across the restaurant, Anna observed the trio as Jason readily accepted the invitation to the gathering.
Just then, Peter returned to Anna’s side and ominously suggested that the only way to achieve any semblance of peace was to eliminate Britt- or anyone else who might pose a threat, including Jason!
Liesl and Britt, however, were fully engaged in their own conversation and didn’t see Anna. So they couldn’t see when Valentin left Anna by herself and her focusing in on them from across the room.
Josslyn Changed Her Mind And Took The JJE CEO Job
At the Quartermaine boathouse, Josslyn revealed to Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel) her decision to accept the CEO role, expressing her desire to fulfill her father’s wishes and maintain his legacy.
Hudson, however, was skeptical about her sudden shift in attitude and warned her that he could resign if he disagreed.
While feigning support, Hudson mentioned that he initially opposed Jax’s choice to hand the company over to Josslyn, but he now recognized he had been mistaken.
Once Josslyn departed, Hudson made a call, informing the other party that Josslyn was stepping into the CEO position, but he was determined to persuade her to reconsider.

Ric Spied On Dante And Liz At The Hospital
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) made his way to General Hospital to get his knee injury examined. Just as he arrived, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) showed up and caught a glimpse of Dante sharing a light-hearted moment with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) as she pushed him in a wheelchair toward the examination room.
Later on, while they were both anxiously waiting for the results of his MRI, Dante turned to Liz and inquired if she had heard from Ric since their earlier encounter.
Liz responded, noting that it seemed Ric was more troubled than she had initially realized. She told Dante he hadn’t reached out to her at all since that moment.

Ric Sought Lulu’s Advice
In the meantime, feeling that he had jeopardized his relationship with Elizabeth, Ric reached out to Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) for some moral support at the Metro Court Gardens.
Lulu encouraged Ric not to succumb to his fears and to avoid pressuring Elizabeth, even if his intentions were good.
Heeding Lulu’s advice to keep things uncomplicated and enjoy their time together, Ric called Elizabeth to invite her to Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) barbecue.
Not only did she agree, but she also invited him to join her for an exhibit at The Chuck. After the call, Ric was amazed that he had managed to secure two dates with Elizabeth and expressed his gratitude to Lulu for her assistance.
Lucas And Joe Came To An Agreement
Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) visited her uncle Lucas Jones ( Van Hansis) at his apartment, bringing along a potted plant as a homecoming gift.
To her surprise, she found Detective Joe Fitzpatrick ( Jonathan Bennett) there as well. Lucas explained that they had both ended up in the same apartment thanks to Lucy Coe ( Lynn Herring).
Lulu joked that there was no need for further explanation, and then made her exit.
After Joe decided to temporarily move his furniture and belongings into Lucas’s place instead of a storage unit while searching for a new home, Lucas suggested they become roommates.
Joe agreed, and they marked the beginning of their new living arrangement with some beer and Chinese takeout.
