General Hospital recaps for Tuesday, June 16 revealed Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) lied, and Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) was impressed.

Plus, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) accepted his fate, and prepared to meet with the mysterious agent called “Z”.

Key Takeaways

  • Brook Lynn lies to Chase about Tracy and secretly remains committed to exposing Willow.
  • Michael and Tracy find common ground as they question Willow’s motives.
  • Jack is impressed by Willow’s ability to outmaneuver Tracy and avoid consequences.
  • Valentin accepts his fate and prepares to meet the mysterious WSB leader known as “Z.”
  • Cullum receives crucial intel that points him directly toward Carly’s house and Valentin’s possible location.

Brook Lynn Lied

Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn brought Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) back from the police station.

Brook Lynn lied to her husband, telling Chase that she thought Tracy had gone too far with Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen).

Hurt, Tracy shot back that she would kick anyone else in the family out for not believing her, but she wouldn’t lose her granddaughter over this.

After Tracy left angrily, Chase justified his choice to arrest her to his wife, and Brook Lynn said she understood he had to do his job as a cop.

She then stated that she had complete faith in Chase and would do anything to safeguard their relationship.

Michael And Tracy Saw Eye To Eye

Meanwhile, at the boathouse, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) updated Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) about the fight between Tracy and Willow.

He shared his belief that Willow pretended to be pushed for Chase’s sake, hoping Brook Lynn would see through Willow’s act, break up with Chase, and then become a single mother to Phoebe Wilson (Luna and Lucia Creighton).

Tracy showed up and expressed her frustration to Michael about Brook Lynn telling Chase she believed Willow.

Praising his cousin for being a good liar like the rest of the family, Michael grumbled that Chase loved Brook Lynn for who she was, not despite her Quartermaine traits.

Tracy insisted that Brook Lynn would be better off without Chase, and Michael agreed.

Jack Was Impressed

At Turning Woods, Willow told Jack that with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) now a fugitive, her supply of the paralytic drug she had been using on Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) would soon be depleted.

A concerned Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) rushed in to inform Willow and Jack that Aunt Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) had seemingly disappeared; she hadn’t appeared in any Metro Court security footage for over a week.

Willow shared with her mom and Jack that Tracy had attempted to intimidate her, but it had backfired.

Jack was impressed that Willow had managed to turn the tables on Tracy and come out ahead by graciously letting her off the hook.

Jack Bargained With Willow

As the group returned to the issue of the dwindling paralytic supply, Willow mentioned that she couldn’t approach Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) directly for the drug.

Nina insisted on using Jack’s blackmail leverage against Drew right away, before he recovered.

Jack pointed out that the evidence of Drew misusing campaign funds was locked in his private safe at the WSB office, and he was the only one who could access it.

He told Nina and Willow that they needed to get Drew up and moving before he could talk and expose them.

Valentin Accepted His Fate

Valentin told Carly that he had to go to Geneva to meet Z, the leader of the WSB, about Cullum being a double agent.

This was the only way to save Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and prevent Cullum from activating the dangerous cold fusion device.

Carly was upset and said she didn’t want Valentin to risk himself by turning himself in to the organization after him.

But he explained that he couldn’t let Cullum intercept their message, so he needed to meet Z in person.

Carly Asked Valentin Why Jack Couldn’t Do It

When Carly asked why Jack couldn’t handle it, Valentin replied that Jack was unable to do so, he was still too incapacitated.

Additionally, their original plan to prove Jack was the head of Pikeman and clear Valentin’s name was no longer valid.

They now needed Jack to support Valentin regarding Cullum’s illegal actions.

Aware that revealing himself to the WSB could lead him back to prison, Valentin requested Carly to have Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) over so he could say goodbye.

They then went to Carly’s bedroom and made love.

Dante And Justine Questioned Nathan

At the PCPD, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) questioned “Nathan West” aka Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) about Sidwell’s escape.

Justine, the acting D.A., doubted Cassius’s claim that Sidwell ambushed him.

After Cassius left, Justine expressed her concerns to Dante about having Det. West, who has a seven-year memory gap, and ‘bad cop’ Chase, who she felt was responsible for interfering in the Willow Cain case, on the force.

Dante defended both officers, stating that his personal issues with Nathan were not professional.

He suggested Justine take her concerns to Internal Affairs, but she worried that Nathan and Chase’s actions would reflect badly on Dante as commissioner.

Dante Confronted Nathan And Joe Asked Nathan About The Syringe Found

Later, Dante scolded Nathan for mishandling a prisoner transport and warned him that while Justine had backed off for now, she would go to IA if there were more problems.

Nathan apologized for his handling of the situation with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), and Dante appreciated Nathan’s support for his son.

Later, Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) asked Nathan about a syringe found in Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) room.

Cassius lied, saying he didn’t know if his sister was receiving treatment for her Huntington’s disease.

Joe then called the forensics department to find out what drug was in the syringe.

Cullum Received New Intel

While talking with a WSB colleague in the Wyndemere study, Cullum speculated whether Sidwell had been collaborating with Valentin all along and if the fugitive was still in Port Charles.

To resolve outstanding issues, Cullum proposed that they prompt the FBI to assist in the search for Rocco and Britt, intending to eliminate them once found.

With Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) being the only other risk to the cold fusion project, Cullum instructed his associate to find out who had called the private clinic pretending to be Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom).

When the agent reported that the call came from a cell tower near Shoreline Road, Cullum realized that Valentin could be hiding at Carly’s house.
