Cassius Let Sidwell Escape, Ezra Called The Paramedics
After Sidwell revealed Cassius’s true identity to Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) and Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove), Cassius threatened to shoot Ezra if Joe didn’t drop his weapon.
When Joe complied, Cassius pistol-whipped him-with Joe unconscious, Sidwell asked Cassius for help to escape, but Cassius refused, stating he was done being a pawn and they were no longer allies.
However, he let Sidwell go; as the situation worsened, Cassius told Ezra he was leaving town and asked him to stay and help Joe when he woke up.
Outside, Cassius glanced at a photo of James West (Gary James Fuller) on his phone, then destroyed the memory card.
Worried that Sidwell or Cassius might return to kill them, Ezra promised to call an ambulance for Joe and was about to leave when Joe called out, asking him to wait.
Changing his mind, Ezra called for paramedics and stayed with Joe until help arrived.

Sidwell Held Ava, Justine And Ethan Hostage
Nina met Ava Jerome (Maura West) at the Metro Court pool and was glad to see her friend had taken her warnings about Sidwell seriously, bringing Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) as a bodyguard.
Ava, annoyed, said Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) assigned Ethan to protect her, adding that Sidwell was after Sonny, not her.
Later, Ethan took Ava back to the Jerome Gallery, where they argued about his constant presence.
Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) arrived to ask Ava about her connection with Sidwell.
Ava claimed their relationship was strictly professional and showed Justine proof of her business dealings with Jenz.
Suddenly, Sidwell entered the gallery with a gun, holding Ava, Justine, and Ethan at gunpoint!
Cody Took James To The Batting Cages
Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) took James to the batting cages, who was eagerly anticipating Nathan’s arrival.
When Nathan finally appeared, he excitedly informed James that he had some grand plans in store for them.
Meanwhile, Cody’s phone, which had been soaked, finally dried out and powered back on and he stepped aside to check his messages.
Just as he was listening to a voicemail from Felicia Scorpio (portrayed by Kristina Wagner), urging him to keep James away from Nathan, he turned around only to see Nathan and James walking out together!
Nina Found Jack Not Breathing
In a chilling turn of events, Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) sought to eliminate Jack at Turning Woods; he restrained Jack to the bed and attempted to poison him with gas.
Prior to gassing him, he told him that he had added a DNR to his medical paperwork and the WSB had a copy.
As he taunted Jack, Cullum smugly declared that he would take the black box from the WSB office with him when he left town, believing that whatever secrets it held would serve as a valuable insurance policy if things went awry for him.
With that, he left Jack to face a grim fate-when Nina arrived shortly after, she was horrified to find Brennan not breathing, a shocking sight that left her reeling!

Danny Called Carly To Come To The Quartermaine Boathouse
Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) summoned Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to the boathouse, where he and a worried Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) explained Charlotte’s close call with kidnapping.
Carly speculated that Cullum likely didn’t know Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) had surrendered, but was getting desperate by targeting Charlotte.
Concerned for Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) safety, Carly resolved to head to Wyndemere to retrieve her daughter; although Charlotte and Danny wanted to accompany her, Carly insisted they stay behind to avoid danger.
Charlotte then provided Carly with specific tips on how to enter the castle undetected by the WSB agents-before departing, Carly instructed Danny to contact Sonny if she hadn’t returned by 8 p.m.
Aware that their fathers wouldn’t approve of Carly going to Spoon Island alone, Danny and Charlotte chose to follow her regardless.
Obrecht Completed The Project
After spending hours in the lab, Obrecht was brought back to the captive room and told Josslyn that the prototype was nearly finished; it just needed to be activated.
Josslyn was shocked that Obrecht hadn’t sabotaged the project as they had planned, leading to an argument about whether Cassius would really rescue them.
When Josslyn exclaimed that Cassius was not Nathan, Obrecht revealed that she felt the loss of Nathan again after Cassius shared his true identity.
Despite Liesl claiming Cassius was a good man, regardless of his involvement in Cullum’s plan, Josslyn countered that he would ultimately betray them.
After a tense silence, both women understood that it didn’t matter who was right about Cassius: Their best chance to escape was to collaborate and break out of the captive room.

Tracy Tried To Convince Gio To Move Into The Quartermaine Mansion And Enlisted Sonny
With Sidwell on the loose and after Sonny, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) was concerned for Gio Palmieri’s (Giovanni Mazza) safety.
She went to Pozzullo’s and insisted that Sonny kick Gio out so he could return to the Quartermaine mansion; Sonny texted Gio to join them so Tracy could express her worries directly.
After Tracy shared her concerns with her great-grandson, Sonny agreed that her worries were valid, but the final choice was Gio’s.
When Gio refused to leave his grandfather, a frustrated Tracy reminded Sonny that, despite increased security, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) almost died in a firebombing meant for him.
“How would you feel if it happens again?” she exclaimed before leaving-Gio apologized for Tracy’s outburst, but Sonny acknowledged that Tracy was correct.
