She threatened to take him to court to prevent him from seeing the kids, wanting to take them immediately and ensure he wouldn’t see them again.

Feeling uneasy about the argument, Gio abruptly said he had to meet Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and left.

Michael, who insisted he never drugged her, offered Willow the kids for a few days to ease the tension; he was worried about how their conflict affected Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver).

He noted that Wiley was happy when Willow, while drugged, said she wanted them to be a family; Michael wanted them to be more civil for the kids, but Willow questioned his honesty.

Willow’s Update

Willow arrived back at Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros)  condo to find her mother in a frenzy over Jacinda’s absence from work, suspecting she had left town.

Nina lamented that Jacinda would never take responsibility for drugging Willow, but a victorious Willow proclaimed that she now possessed all the leverage in the custody dispute.

Nina urged her daughter to seek a peaceful resolution before a real tragedy unfolded.

Willow asserted that she would never prevent Michael from seeing the children, but any visits would be on her conditions.

Michael Corinthos Learns The Truth

At Bobbie’s, General Hospital recaps for Wednesday’s show reveal that Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) asked Trina to a party, but she declined, fearing her dad might go to jail if found guilty.

When a stressed Gio arrived, he told Kai and Trina that Willow accused Michael of drugging her and threatened to keep the kids away from him.

Trina and Kai exchanged worried looks, realizing they had information that could help Michael.

They went to the Quartermaine mansion and said they had a way to stop Willow from taking the kids. Michael was shocked when they revealed that Willow shot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and they were witnesses.

They explained that they hid in the bedroom as the shooting had happened in the living room; Kai had gone by to get some paperwork at the time.

They revealed that they had deduced Willow was the one who pulled the trigger, all thanks to Wiley’s distinctive ringtone.

Trina and Kai were fully prepared to bring Willow’s wrongdoing to light. Sadly, their evidence was rendered useless during Willow’s trial for the shooting, leading to her acquittal.

“That won’t be needed,” Michael interjected confidently. “I have a more effective strategy to achieve our goals.”

Isaiah Gannon’s Good News

At Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr), Isaiah shared good news about his hand MRI, showing improvement, and he was hopeful about returning to surgery.

When Portia blamed herself for his injury, Isaiah reassured her that he loved her and Des Robinson (Yireh Aviah Lafond), regardless of their past.

Despite his positive outlook, Isaiah wanted Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to be held accountable, but Portia was uncertain about the jury’s decision.

If Curtis was acquitted, she feared he’d use the baby to push Isaiah away, but a guilty verdict would also be tough on her kids.

They would soon find out, as Isaiah got a call that the verdict was ready.

Jordan Ashford Fills Curtis Ashford In

At the Metro Court Gardens, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) updated Curtis about her meeting with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), realizing she could have a successful career as a corporate consultant.

Curtis offered her a job at Aurora, but Jordan preferred to succeed on her own. As they anxiously awaited the jury’s decision, they hoped for a not guilty verdict to move forward.

Drew visited their table, and Curtis thanked him for his testimony;  Drew mentioned he was ready to make up for lost time now that he was better.

Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) approached them with news that the jury had reached a verdict.

Drew Cain’s New Battle

General Hospital recaps for August 12 indicate that Drew had a meeting with Martin where he expressed his intention to place a bid on the assets belonging to Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).

During their conversation, Martin brought to Drew’s attention that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was also interested in acquiring some of Sidwell’s holdings. In response, Drew confidently stated that he was ready to compete for them.

With Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) no longer in Sonny’s employ, Drew recognized this as a prime opportunity to finally take Sonny down. He viewed Sidwell’s assets as crucial to achieving that goal.

Rocco Falconeri Gets Real

Meanwhile, Rocco paid a visit to Sonny’s place to express his frustrations about Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) moving out due to the growing tension between them.

He sought his grandfather’s opinion on whether he was overly dependent on his parents. Sonny reassured Rocco that such feelings were completely normal.

However, he also acknowledged that there were unique circumstances causing his parents to be particularly protective at this time.

He reminded Rocco of the significant act he had performed by saving two lives when he intervened with Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), and encouraged him to always remember that heroic moment.

Sonny Corinthos’ Exit Strategy

Later on, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) showed up after verifying at the courthouse that Sidwell had agreed to a plea deal resulting in 26 years behind bars.

Ric shared that Drew was also eyeing Sidwell’s assets; Sonny suspected there was a personal grudge at play, believing Drew aimed to seize something that rightfully belonged to him.

Sonny elaborated that he wanted to steer Sidwell’s holdings in a legitimate direction since Jason had exited the business, and he intended to follow suit.

Ric expressed his happiness for his brother, and Sonny made it clear he expected Ric to be as brutally honest with him as Jason had always been.

Sonny then inquired about the best strategy to secure everything he desired while ensuring Drew ended up with nothing.

Scout Cain Opens Up

At the pool, Drew checked in on Scout, who was still feeling down about not being able to spend time with Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).

Drew expressed his worries about Danny’s reckless actions and emphasized that he cared for Scout too much to put her at risk; reluctantly,

Scout acknowledged his concerns. When Rocco arrived for his shift, he and Scout shared their frustrations about their overly protective parents; Scout expressed her disappointment that her dad forbade her from seeing any of her relatives.

As she wished she could be more like Charlotte and Danny, who seemed to do whatever they pleased.

Still, Rocco reassured her that she wasn’t selfish like them. Rocco then timed Scout during her swim training, and once she finished, she playfully pushed him into the pool.
