General Hospital Recast Lindsay Hartley Fills In As Sam McCall This Week  + CoStar Tweets  – Kelly Monaco Officially Done?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the fall suggest that Sam McCall’s days in Port Charles are coming to a close.

News broke recently that Kelly Monaco was let go from the soap, and reports indicate that Sam McCall is set to be killed off, sometime soon.

However, with the flurry of social media activity as of late, not to mention the fact that Kelly’s Sam fill-in, actress Lindsay Hartley, is set to step into McCall’s shoes for multiple scenes during the week of September 16-20, fans can’t help but wonder if Kelly is officially gone from the daytime drama.

General Hospital Spoilers – Kelly Monaco’s Cryptic Social Media Post

Kelly Monaco isn’t one to be overly vocal on social media, which made her Instagram post on Sunday, September 15 an interesting one.

She broke her silence on Billy Miller’s (ex-GH’s Drew Cain) passing, by uploading a photo of the two with a bouquet of roses, including one in each of their mouths, on the first anniversary of his passing.

In her caption, she wrote: “Duces, ‘I’ve got your back and you always had mine’ I will tell our story soon enough … (angel emoji, prayers emoji, heart emoji). I love and miss you … and beyond.” 

Monaco tagged General Hospital, Nathan Varni (GH’s covering executive), Disney, and Hulu, in the post.

This sent fans into a frenzy, speculating on what exactly Monaco’s “story” was and when she would spill it.

Further to that, on Monday, September 16, Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) hopped on X and tweeted out what almost seemed like a “goodbye” to Kelly.

In his X post Benard states, “Every time someone leaves a show I always believe something great is going to come. It’s a blessing in disguise. Kelly is really talented, and she will succeed.”

Laura Wright retweeted Maurice’s post, adding “I’m with you Mo!! I see an incredible opportunity!! I can’t wait to see Kelly shine (sparkle emoji) (sparkle emoji).”

When news of Kelly’s exit hit the internet, none of her co-stars commented on her leaving the show; this generally occurs after an “official” exit or final scene.

With Kelly’s IG post as well, as Wright’s and Benard, are the GH stars telling us that we’ve seen the last of Monaco as Sam McCall?

GH Spoilers – Lindsay Hartley’s Appearances During September 16-20

It’s important to note that while it does appear that Kelly could be gone for good, and actress Lindsay Hartley may finish off Sam’s exit storyline, GH does tend to film scenes out of order.

It’s also been said that Lindsay’s scenes this week were filmed during the same time that she filmed scenes the last time she was on set, which was for Baby Irene Marie’s funeral. Stay tuned to this site for more information, as it trickles in.
