General Hospital Rumor: Busted Ryan Goes On The Run, Kidnaps Avery For Leverage?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) difficulty in getting the Corinthoses (Laura West, Maurice Benard) to share custody of Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) might inspire Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) to repeat even more of his history!

Ryan arrived in Port Charles, hot on the trail of Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) where she first met and became involved with him under the name of Todd Wilson. This was back in the 1990s, 1992 to be exact. Kevin followed in 1993. Felicia witnessed him murder his wife, Gloria, and it was so traumatic for her that although she made it back to Port Charles, she had amnesia and didn’t recognize him when he hit town.

Back then, he was a pediatrician who got himself hired at General Hospital and they started dating. Eventually she got her memory back and that’s when her problems started with Ryan and he started stalking her and his original killing spree started. He couldn’t give up Felicia when she remembered him as Todd and seeing him kill his wife Gloria and dumped him.

During that period, he kidnapped Felicia and kept her hostage in a cabin, (hmmmm….perhaps Liesl Obrecht, portrayed by Kathleen Gati, might be a better love match for him!) kidnapped Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) as a child in 1993, and also kidnapped Georgie (Lindze Letherman) in March 1995, when he supposedly died in an explosion in a funhouse where he had taken Georgie. Ryan’s never been violent with children, in fact he loves them, he renamed Georgie “Celeste” which means “Angel”!

Ryan wants Ava to move to Europe (or, more likely, go with him on the run as a fugitive!) and she won’t leave without Avery. Ryan plans to achieve that goal by killing Sonny and Carly, but it’s doubtful that plan will succeed; and unless Ava turns against him, he won’t kidnap her; and if he tried, she’d probably kill him! Ava does have that advantage over Ryan!

But will he recreate part of his obsession with Felicia with Ava, by kidnapping Avery if they go on the run? Ava might just help him kidnap her, but now that she asked Sonny and Carly first they’ll probably deny her any visitation at all, so they’d be on the lookout for her; Ryan’s another story, since they still think he’s Kevin!
