General Hospital Rumor: Christmas Chaos Ensues: One Disintegration Of Two Major Couples

General Hospital spoilers tease that Christmas will bring the disintegration of two major couples according to an article in the print edition of this week’s TV guide, according to producer Frank Valentini. But which two couples? Several couples on GH could be considered major couples!

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny And Carly Corinthos

Sonny and Carly Corinthos (Maurice Benard, Laura Wright) have been bickering lately about at least two situations in their lives. Carly disagrees with Sonny on the ongoing Alzheimers’ care for his father Mike Corbin, (Max Gail) who Sonny wants to put into a medical trial in Sweden, and Carly as well as other family members and even Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) think it would be too hard on Mike and too confusing, and it may do more harm than good. But Sonny can’t see past what he wants. Plus, Carly has been sworn to secrecy concerning Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) survival, and he has been staying with Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) so Sonny is suspicious of something going on there and what secrets Carly is keeping from him! These two situations either alone or combined could cause the couple to spontaneously combust! Plus, this couple has divorced and remarried several times in their history!

GH Spoilers – Dr. Hamilton Finn And Anna Devane

Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) seem nearly indestructible after weathering storms of Anna’s being absent on missions sometimes months on end, Finn’s sudden fatherhood and Violet Barnes (Jophielle Love) being left in his and Anna’s care, and of course the annoying presence of Anna’s ex, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers)! However, even though it’s unlikely “Fanna” will be one of the couples who disintegrates at Christmas, shortly afterwards the two will have a difference of opinion over something so we’ll include them.

General Hospital Spoilers – Jason Morgan And Samantha McCall

Although it also seems unlikely that a couple who has weathered even more storms than Finn and Anna would break up, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Samantha McCall (Kelly Monaco) are separated by her incarceration. Lately, Sam has been getting discouraged and blames her situation and many situations that her family and friends have weathered in the last year or two on herself; she wouldn’t have been in prison and many dangerous situations her family and friends have been would never have happened had she not stole money from Shiloh Archer’s (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) father all those years ago when she was running cons. She could be discouraged and depressed enough to decide to let Jason go and encourage him to live his life without her because she’s feeling like she’s bad news! She may not take no for an answer, leaving Jason baffled!

GH Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine And Nina Reeves

This couple seems doomed even though it may be New Year’s Eve before Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) completes her revenge plan on Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and dumping him at the altar, which had been her intentions. It may in fact even take longer, with the complication of Nina feeling like she needs to hang on longer to help Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) through her “trauma” and her “imaginary bodyguard” even though Nina likely figures Charlotte has seen Nikolas! This couple may make it through Christmas but General Hospital writers could always have surprises in store, plus since some episodes have been pre-empted it could happen past Christmas because of episodes having been pushed ahead.

General Hospital Spoilers – There Are Still Some Other Couples That Could Disintegrate At Any Time

There are still some other couples that could disintegrate at any time; unfortunately Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) were falling apart even before the car accident, and with Lucas still being in a coma after doctors brought him out of a coma, writers could be preparing Brucas fans for a very dire situation; and General Hospital spoilers tease that Sonny will have to console Carly over something shortly after Christmas; could Lucas never wake up and die? Then again, the truth about Wiley Cooper-Jones (Erik and Theodore Olson) being Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) baby Jonah Corinthos could come out soon. That could drive a grieving Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) Michael’s way because she has gotten so attached to Wiley aka Jonah, and that could break up Willow and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Michael and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattson)!
