General Hospital Rumor: Did Nikolas Set Up Hayden To Get Rid Of Her?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) may have set up Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) to get rid of her!

General Hospital Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine Overheard Hayden Barnes Make A Deal With Valentin Cassadine

Nikolas overheard Hayden make a deal with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) while he had been hiding with a fireplace poker at Wyndemere, ready to kill Valentin with it! Valentin had contacted Hayden for information on the portrait of Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) that he had recently thrown away and now is trying to get back.

Hayden wouldn’t tell Valentin a whole lot but she agreed on a sum of money to be wired overseas into an offshore account, but told him she had to get it set up yet. She did tell him that Helena had given Nikolas the portrait for a reason!

Actually, General Hospital viewers who were watching at that time will know the reason – the man whose reflection is in the teapot. She intended that to show that she had died because Nikolas was poisoning her tea! However, Mikkos Cassadine’s (John Colicos) codicil that disinherits Valentin appears to be something that Nikolas just found out about recently, and Valentin previously didn’t know about it at all!

General Hospital Spoilers – The Goon On The Pier

After overhearing all of this, Nikolas set up a meeting with Hayden on the pier. He confronted her about making the deal with Valentin, after which Hayden told her that Valentin had threatened her. To be sure, he had, but he only told her things would get very complicated and it wouldn’t be pleasant. It wasn’t exactly a death threat but it was enough to make her worry about herself and her daughter Violet Barnes (Jophielle Love).

Nikolas tried to convince Hayden to leave town and go into hiding; she said she would have to think about it because of Violet. Nikolas then leaves but shortly after a goon in a hoodie grabs her from behind! Nikolas then comes back out and saves Hayden from the goon and convinces her she has to leave Violet for her own safety just like he did his young son Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel)! So she says she has to make arrangements for Violet while he tells her he has to make arrangements for her to leave town. Then General Hospital viewers see that Nikolas set her up – he was the one who hired the goon himself!

General Hospital Spoilers – A Scream In The Night On The Grounds Of The Quartermaine Mansion

At Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) house on Thanksgiving, Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is worried because he can’t reach Hayden and she is supposed to pick up Violet. He tries to call and it goes to voicemail. Then Violet wants her doll and Finn finds an envelope with his name on it in her bag. He sees that Hayden has left town and left Violet with him and explains she had to flee because she was in trouble and it would be dangerous for Violet.

However, across town at the Quartermaine mansion, it has become dark and Ned Quartermaine, (Wally Kurth) Brook Lynn Ashton, (Amanda Setton) Lulu Spencer, (Emme Rylan), and Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) all turn their heads as a bloodcurdling woman’s scream is heard, and police are called and a crime scene tape is put up! Could Hayden’s disappearance, Nikolas’ set up of Hayden, and what happens at the Quartermaine mansion on the grounds be connected? Could Nikolas have set Hayden up and had her taken out in the Quartermaine’s yard?
